Dear Qode,
I invested more than a week to find the ideal theme for my project. Bridge is my top choice at the moment.
There is one thing, though, that is very important to me (and I think, for anyone who wants to build a list for email marketing, too): Can I style Mailpoet’s (or other services’) registration forms with Bridge?
Mailpoet does not provide styling, but relies on the theme authors to provide that. If I understand correctly, Bridge however does not have “one” styling, that is the very point of this theme. So – is it possible to style my opt-in (optin) form with Bridge, too? Maybe you provide a VC element for optin forms, that integrates with these services? (For instance, PopUpAlly (a popop plugin to collect email-addresses) just receives the name and address on the front, and hands it over to my Mailpoet plugin in the back.) If not at this moment, could you make this possible?

Sorry for not explaining it so well, but what I meant is, can the FEATURED IMAGE have a 16:9 aspect ratio? In other words, can the featured image have whatever proportions I choose?

Yes, but you need to upload the image in that aspect ratio. The featured image will render in its original aspect ratio as long as you leave the image size option in Portfolio List settings at “original size”.

Your support team is ultra fast and for that reason alone, I’ll be purchasing multiple couples of this theme in the next couple months. Thank you! I’ve got four remaining questions: 1) I’m still having trouble setting up an anchor for the one page site, where “home” is at the top of the page and it’s a slider. I’ve followed instructions, but it doesn’t seem to be working. 2) The navigation in testimonials is way off, possibly because the testimonial itself is padded? But I can’t find a way to adjust this. 3) My second menu item “about us” is correctly anchored but doesn’t go to the top of the item, rather it still shows the lower part of the parallax slider above. How do I fix it so that the “about us” menu button operates like “our services, our process”? Finally, 4) Right now the sticky header shows up at an odd time, just after once scrolls past “about us.” It should appear right before about us. Quick question, we’re trying to install the shop WITH sidebar into the denim theme, but we haven’t succeeded so far, because there’s already a sidebar in the theme, so the theme installs the full width shop automatically. However, we really need the functionality of the sidebar shop. What to do?

Then, you need to go to Appearance -> Widgets, and create a new custom widget area: http://screencast.com/t/1zKizry5AfxC
Add all the WooCommerce widgets that you want into this widget area, and then go back to your shop page and in the Qode Sidebar custom field choose the Layout that you want for your sidebar, and select the sidebar you created: http://screencast.com/t/WMOe9lr6

To change this text please use the Codestyling Localization plugin. After you install it, go to Tools > Localization and there choose the Themes tab. Click on the edit button beside the language and there you will find a list of words you can translate/change. Select the non-case sensitive check-box and then search the word you want to translate/change. After finishing all your edits, click the generate mo-file button and you will have added the changes.

Nonetheless I’d like to have some help with the following:- I’m having problems with this horizontal tab and this vertical tab: Once opened, they show properly the first tab’s text, when changing to the second tab, nothing appears and when comming back to the first tab, text has disappeared.:
- Icons do not show properly on my website (search button, back to top, social media, etc.). Why does the “Search Widget” change its appearance depending on whether it is on the “Header Top Right” or “Header Bottom Right” widgets? Is there any chance to customize it without CSS?
- I would like to write some text between my logo and the Header Bottom Right widget. Is it possible?
I’ve tried to solve the first one via Backend editor, classic view and classic view-html, but since I’m not very good at this, I had no luck.

1. You have set same IDs for ‘tab_id’ attribute (tab-Pestaña), they should be all different, for example ‘tab-Pestaña1, tab-Pestaña2, tab-Pestaña3…’. This happened because you have did it via classic editor, if you use VC editor, IDs will be rendered manually.
2. Did you change some of our files? Did you change some of files in ‘css\font-awesome’ folder? Regarding search widget, it is specially styled for “Header Bottom Right” widget area. It should be customized for “Header Top Right” with custom css.
3. Unfortunately it is not possible via some options, it would require some custom work for which we don’t have resources.

Sorry to bother you again, but I still have issues:- I’ve tried to insert tabs via VC, but couldn’t do it properly because I cannot change the Id setting. Here’s a picture of what happens. When VC renders them, there still is a problem of IDs, because it still happens the same. I’ve tried to change the code in classic view adding tab_id=tab_1 and tab_id=tab_2 and id=tab_1 and id=tab_2 (no quotes, single quotes and double quotes) and always after the name because when I do it before, tabs disappear. Still the same problem
- I didn’t change anything. The only thing is that I’ve used envato’s update plugin. But there was the problem before and after update.
- Ok, the template is still great!!

It is due to logo height, you should put this custom css in your custom css field:

You can change the copyright message by going to Appearance -> Widgets, and opening the Footer Text widget area. Inside that you will see a text widget which contains the copyright message.

Yes, that’s correct. You can do it in child theme, but also if we have made the changes in shortocodes.php file, you will not see the changes.

ThemeForest has very strong requirement rules and our themes passes all of them: http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/472/85/wordpress-theme-submission-requirements
WordPress.org has some other standards and you can ask them for reason why they don’t allow using iframes (if it’s youtube / vimeo video used by millions of web sites) and other PHP functions.
Regarding post info, you can hide it with this custom css:

Hello, I am new to bridge.
I just bought the bridge template and uploaded it on wordpress. I can choose to use the bridge theme but can only access the simple blogsite website form and not any of the other bridge website interfaces. Also downloaded the plugins.

You are probably talking about demo sites. You can import demo sites from Qode Import options (last option in admin). There you can choose what to import, content, widgets, options or all of them.

You should anchor that menu item to first row on your page. If you have Qode Slider on top of your page, than you should add value in ‘anchor’ attribute of slider shortcode, and enter same anchor in home menu item.

Thanks. This is what I was missing for the slider. Concerning the question y nunomiguelm below. I had the same issue where it “froze” mid-import. I kept refreshing the page (or reimported again) and each time it increased by 10-20%. Wasn’t a big issue and that was my work around.

If you mean on blog single page, than comments should be shown by default. See if you turned them in Settings > Discussion
Alos, you have option in Qode Options > Blog > Blog List > Hide Comments
If you mean on ordinary page, than you have options on that page, in Qode Blog metabox, you have option for show/hide comments.
