Thanks for a cool theme. Evrything seems to work but the event categories. They show up when you make a new event as an event categorie (so I can select the right categorie) but the categories don’t show up in the main menu. (As in your version: ‘Music Festivals’ and ‘Official tour’ categories under ‘On Tour’. They do show up in the event page itself though. How can I make this visible in the menu? Thanks!
Hi, You need to add them to the menu. Please navigate to Appearance -> Menus, click on Screen Options (top right) and make sure that Event Categories is checked. Then you can check the desired event category from left and click Add to Menu. If you need more details, please send a mail at support@smartwpress.com, I will send you a screenshot with instructions.

I do have another question though:
The picture I use on the slider page is working on most screens but for instance on the iPad and iPhone it’s cutting some of the sides. How do you make sure it always fits the screen? Thanks in advance.

Hi, The images used in the slider should fit any device size, and to achive that, the image is resized according to the device size, while maintaining the ratio. The image is always centered so that is the reason why it is cutting some of the sides – the phone screen have different width and height proportions (aspect ratio) than the original image(otherwise it will not be full screen image). I hope this makes the things clear for you.

However now the custom logo dissapeared. When I am logged in on wordpress I see it. On all other devices it doesn’t show a logo. It can’t find it. How can I fix this? I tried to upload it again several times.

My wordpress version is french and the language set on “french” in administration + format date in french as well…

In the folder ”/wp-content/themes/jamsession/languages/” I copied/renamed the po/mo files “jamsession” to “jamsession-fr_FR” and it does not work.
Still in the wp-config.php file, I have “define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’);”

Hi, you can change permalinks from Settings -> JamSession Post Types Settings. There you can change the permalinks for custom post types to what you need.

Hello, I have noticed an issue with submit buttons not displaying in Widgets when using the theme. I have tried several different plugins to add a MailChimp signup form to the sidebar AND also simply embedding the code directly from MailChimp into a text widget but none of these methods have displayed the submit button for the form. Is there something in the theme preventing the button from being displayed? Please advise. Thank you.

I am still having problems sending the contact form to the correct email. It doesn’t seem to go through – can you please take a look? I have added the correct email under Jam Session settings.
Also, when I upload an image to the Main Slider (Home page)- it seems to zoom in/crop on the original image, where do I change this so it shows exactly how it should look? Or give me CSS Style code please.

Hi, JamSession theme already have this functionality, so you can use your SoundCloud albums/playlists in your album post type, to replace the audio player. Related to the social media icons, it can be done by making some small changes in a child theme. I will send you more details if you want. 1. Can I remove the hardwood flooring background?

Hi and thanks for being interested in JamSession theme. 1. The background can be replaced from the theme settings. 2. The theme comes with two contact pages, one with sidebar and one without sidebar. 3. The text color is set for the entire website, this can be done, but only by changing the code of the theme, through a child theme.
