first – your support is just awesome… for anyone who is considering purchasing this theme, there are enough configuration options available to create a really stunning site without digging into the code, the documentation is good and the support is even better…
that said, i do have another question. I’ve created ‘feature boxes’ on the lower portion of the home page using short codes for layout and image formatting. The first box contains an image that links to a page off-site – I would like to add ‘target=_blank’. Is this possible? It’s not an option when you create the shortcode through the administrative interface.

I don’t understand, i think is it a basic issue but (the site is in construction i make some tests): - for the slide show i can see the images when it is in accordion (http://www.lesgrandesvacancesderobin.com/) but i can see it with the 3D (http://www.lesgrandesvacancesderobin.com/?p=84) - I can’t see the feature image for my posts.
I think it is a basic problem (size of images or basic setup) can you help me?

For the issue, please follow the steps below
1) give ‘striking/cache/’ folder with 777 permissions. make sure ‘striking/cache/skin.css’ file is with 777 permissions also ‘striking/cache/images/’ folder with 777.
2) give ‘striking/framework/helpers/optionGenerator.php’ with 777 or 755 or 644 permissions also give ‘striking/includes/timthumb.php’ file with 777 or 755 or 644 permissions. If 777 doen’s work, please try 755.

I’m having one issue: I’ve tried to set the hover color of the main top nav menu items, but it’s not taking. Cache is permissioned properly – all other color choices are functional. I’m setting the ‘Top menu active’ color for this. Any idea what could be going on?

You can using

I had just a few questions about the theme.
1. In my website I need to be able to put 9 buttons across the top navigation header. If i make my logo smaller does it increase the amount of space I can put the buttons in, or is that a fixed space and 9 navigation links might not work?
2. Would I be able to to links in a sidebar on the home page? Or just put links in one of the 3 columns below the slider?

You can change the height of the header easily by the option in the admin panel.
The homepage have 3 layouts. You can change it to with sidebar.

The width you can use for the header is 960px.
I think it’s possible to put 9 links in headers.
If it’s not works well, you can use the cutom css code below in ‘striking’->‘general’ option page to make the links closely.

You see, I’d like to add some kind of a slider gallery to a page. Is there any option built in the theme to do so?. Is there any way to implement the slider set by default in the Homepage to appear in any other page with another set of photographs?.

The theme support slider in any other page. Just go to the page, set ‘Header Introduce Type’ on ‘Striking Page General Options’ panel to ‘SlideShow’.
If you want it to show different set of photographs, just give a category to the items. Then choose the category you want to show for the slideshow.

You can do it by editing on the ‘striking/framework/helpers/themeGenerator.php’ file
locate line 54.
remove the code below:

Another alternative is use wordpress built-in menu so that you don’t need to modify the file.
First go to ‘striking’->‘general’ option page to enable it.
Then go to ‘Appearance’->‘Menus’ option page to config it.

Really enjoying your theme!
Used the three over three icon short code for service page layout. Copied it from your live demo under short codes, then modified slightly. I need to turn them into live links going to the matching services sub-page and not seeing how to do that within the universe of your site specific short codes?
I know how to do so in traditional html, i.e. as part of page copy, but not sure how it should look and where it should go amongst the short code I’ve already put in place?
