The big download is only 15 mb and not all files in there, for example theme and all extra plugin is missing.
Hi, the main files zip should be around 18MB and it should have the Documentation, Demo content, Plugins. Please make sure you are downloading the right archive with all the files.

does this theme work well w/ Geo My WP plugins and it’s addon (specifically) the xprofile buddy press one and the ability to show the resulting of a user searching for members.

KLEO doesn’t have modified structure for the members directory so it should work

Hi, That should not happen normally. Please make sure you are uploading the right kleo.zip file found under Wordpress folder after you unzip the main package downloaded from Themeforest

- collaborative blogging (registered users can blog news which will be released on the index-site) = maybe buddyforms-compatible? - registered users can create an own project (blog topic) and post news related to this project - portfolios of each user can be customised using one of your awesome portfolio examples (not the one from buddypress) - are buddypress pages customizable? I prefer your example pages (like portfolio and co)

Hi, you could use that plugin or maybe Social articles plugin. For the project and news you should look for a plugin to add that functionality. Portfolio right now can only be added by admin but maybe the buddyforms can help. Buddypress pages come from its templates that you will find in the theme and you can customize them in your child theme

Hello, as you can see from those notices, they come from the plugin Social Articles so you either disable it or set WP_DEBUG to false in wp-config.php

Possible OT: On this site I have ALL BuddyPress options available for free to all users. I have two plans I’m creating to offer blogs with and without ads. Is it necessary to create the FREE membership level? I ask because users appear to get the option and to create a new site and pay with the free option and I DON’T want this. I only want users to register to create their accounts. Once in they get the option to upgrade. Am I missing something?

hi, You don’t need the Free level since it is the same thing as a regular registered member so you can get rid of it.

@dennispchin this is a server side issue. I ran into it on my GoDady VDS and had to rebuild/recompile Apache after checking to enable that option. This is all done in the cPanel console.

When attempting to update the theme on my GoDaddy VDS I get an error when trying to update the files in the folder. If I delete the theme folders from the /theme folder then I can move over the updated files. So far I’ve confirmed by replacing the child theme but have yet to update the main theme. Any cause for concern?

Hi, yes you can rename the old kleo folder to have a backup and then put the new kleo theme. The child theme is not updated since it has your changes, if you added any.
