Hello,
I am interested in your theme, but wondering how large of a logo can be used for the site. I see the demo logo is not very tall or wide, but wondering what the dimensions could be for a logo that is taller and wider?

Your logo can be any size you need, the header elements will adjust. In addition, you can adjust logo padding and header padding (top, left, right, bottom) and the navigation height all from theme options to make it pixel perfect for your size logo.

Awesome, I have some questions regarding the blog posts, are information such as date, author, and number of comments removable from the shortcode display of the blogs, and also removable from the actual blog pages themselves?
One more thing, is the excerpt on the blog shortcode display also removable?
With the shortcode, are there any limits to the number of blog posts displayed?
Yes the blog meta data can be removed both from the main blog listing page, and the single post page. Both can be controlled individually as well.
Yes and you also have full control over the excerpt. You can control the length of it, choose to not use it or use full content. Also you can show or hide HTML content in the excerpt.
You can display all the posts as well, or select to only display a certain number.

Thanks for all your help and info! I think I may just have one final question…
I understand that the title bar and text can be removed therefore leaving that space blank. Can a full width section be placed directly under the menu bar without an automated “buffer” white space being displayed? In essence a full width area that can have text, extra coding, and etc. placed above the background area? (Giving the appearance of a slider, but not being a slider in reality)

Yes you can place a full width section directly under the menu or header. And we give controls per page or globally throughout the theme to remove the padding (buffer) that would be there. Nice and easy!

Hi Guys, I’ve just noticed that my fusion builder is greyed out when I try to edit an element on a page.
I just updated my theme and all plugins, no luck. I’ve even uninstalled all the plugins not required to run Avada and still no luck.
Does anyone know how to resolve. I see I’m not the only person experiencing this.

Please make sure you are using Avada 3.7 or higher and Fusion Core 1.6 or higher. Also when updating, clear browser and plugin cache.
Using WP 4.1 requires those versions of our theme and plugin.

I noticed, that there’s a problem with the responsiveness… If I scale, the main picture (the first one) scales twice as hard and falls off the page. In all views (boxed, wide)!!! I assume this is a bug, but a very not-so-nice one. I could post screen dumps of it.

Hmmm we are not seeing this and have not had any reports from our users. We would need more information to understand what you see. Can you make a video of the process and email it to support@theme-fusion.com?
Also, if you are referring to the point where the menu falls on two lines that is correct action. When it falls on two lines it will take up some of the height until the responsive menu shows up. This is also more prominent on a page liek our home page that has a parallax image slider. The main top image has parallax scrolling effect. Resize another page that does not have the Fusion Slider to see.
I updated avada 3.7,1 and deleted all cache and update other plugin of yours. but it is still showing greyed out screen as editing. What’s problem?

Please confirm you are using Avada 3.7.1 and Fusion Core 1.6.1. Clear our all browser, plugin and server cache if using it. As long as that is done it should work, it may take clearing cache a second time.

I am the techie (loose term) for a small non-profit in San Francisco. We hired a web developer to put us online last August. He used Avada Child theme which we now having problems with since the Wordpress update to 4.1. The original developer was canned about a month ago …& I don’t know if our copy is legitimate or bootlegged. His invoices to us never were broken down by labor vs theme/plugin costs. So my questions are: #1 – how do we know if we have a legitimate copy, registered either to our company or his; #2 – if we don’t, how do we go about registering it and #3 – someone might be interested in this developers name if it is actually a bootleg copy (sorry, that was not actually a question). Would appreciate any help in resolving this issue…will send specific details via private email to whoever can help resolve this. Thank you.

This will be hard to tell to be honest, however if you want to get theme updates you will need a purchase code which means you would need to buy a copy of the theme. But that would be best because if you buy a $58 copy you will get the theme updates and free support on our forum.
There are unfortunately many people out there who do not follow the licensing rules. It’s always best to be sure of it and buy a copy in these situations.
Also if you are using WP 4.1, it does require Avada 3.7 or higher.

According to envato and this themeforest website – you updated the theme today – 30 Dec – but when I downloaded it and replaced old theme it still said version 3.7.1 – has it been updated? Thanks

The December 30th date you see was only an update to our item preview image and thumbnail, not the theme files. Unfortunately they do not give us a way to easily update those item images, we have to send in files for them to approve. So when they approve them, it shows as new files with a new date, but the theme version is still 3.7.1.

I just bought the theme. I downloaded it. I used something called 7z (I am not tech savvy, so have no idea what this is) to extract the zipped files. I saw something happen after I clicked on “unzip.” But I cannot find where to activate, open or use the product on my computer. Am I missing something? Can I get my money back?

7z is an unzipping software. When you unzip it, you choose a location for it to be unzipped too, so please check where that went or unzip it again and find the location. Or you could search for “avada” folder on your computer.

As always the theme keeps working perfect but I would like to ask for an update of the W3TC config that its shared by you because it is not working with the latest version of the revolution slider or at least in my case.

Hmm our W3TC settings have not changed, but make sure you are using the latest theme version 3.7.1 and the Rev Slider version that it includes which is 4.6.5.

Hi there. This is urgent. I am a server admin and recenlty upgrade revslider into http://www.nutrifit.cl/. The version was 2.9. I upgraded to the last plugin version but now it stopped working. Please need help as soon as possible. Thanks a lot in advance

We would highly recommend you update to the latest version of Avada which has the latest version of Rev Slider. We are currently on Avada 3.7.1 which has Rev slider 4.6.5. The older version you are using probably is not compatible with latest browsers and needs updated.

I updated to 3.7.1 by deleting the old Avada theme, uploading the new one inside WP and then activated. then I update the Fusion Builder but I kept getting a greyed out screen when trying to edit content. I then flushed the cache in WP and in my browser with no luck. Can you please help me out?

As long as you are using Avada 3.7+ and Fusion Core 1.6+ it will be fine with WP 4.1. When this has happened to other users it was either an older version of the theme, or some kind of browser, plugin or server cache. Flushing the cache should of worked. Hi – I was able to import all the demo content, but what I really wanted was the videos that go with the http://theme-fusion.com/avada/fusion-slider-full-width/
I found the instructions, but not having any luck finding the assets. thanks
Those videos will import with the content, they are the Fusion Slider. However they will be low resolution video comps because those videos are stock videos that require a license to use.

I have a problem with the Avadas Shortcodes. The toggle and Tabs do not work anymore as you can see on this page:

I updated the theme recenlty and also moved my website from a subdomain last week if that can help.

I’m trying to activate/update the Revolution Slider. I’m on 3.7.1 for Avada and it was not active before. I put in the username, API key and purchase code and it says purchase code is invalid. Then it sends me to the theme author for updates and support. I copied the purchase code from my upload so not sure what may be wrong? Can you possibly give me some suggestions? Thanks!

The purchase code you received for our theme Avada will not work for the rev slider plugin, it is only used for the theme (support or theme updates). When a theme packages a premium plugin like the rev or layer slider, a purchase code is not included. To get the plugins updated, you need to update the theme. Each time we issue a theme update, we also include the latest plugin updates.
If you update Avada, you will be prompted to also update the plugins we include. http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/plugin-installation/
If you want to auto update the slider plugins outside of the theme, it would require a separate purchase of those plugins.

Thanks for the information. Those prompts are not available on the updates dashboard and it says all themes and plugins are up to date. Should I reinstall 3.7.1? Revolution slider says current version is 4.2.4 but I know there is a 4.6.5 version. Again, thanks for the help!
Hmmm that should be showing. Yes please try to reinstall the theme. In addition, you could delete the rev slider plugin and then you will be prompted to install the new one. But first, go export all of your sliders for a good backup. You can do that from the rev slider main page.

Sorry, I’m back again. I did delete the rev slider plugin and reinstalled the avada.zip theme as instructed. However, it still did not prompt me to install the Revolution Slider plug in. Now I have the new Avada and no Revolution Slider plug in at all. Any other suggestions or do I now need to go purchase the plug in? Thank you.

Outside of that, you have to import it all from theme options. It is easy to do, select the one you want (agency or classic) and then import. It will import al pages, posts, widgets, options, etc
