Hi, that should not happen. Please update the theme and make sure to have the latest K-elements version. You can ensure you have the latest version by re-downloading the theme. K-elements plugin latest version is in the package downloaded in the Plugins folder

I upgraded my k-elements and it turned my backend completely white. I had to go into my file manager and pull out the 2.3 and reinstall the 1.5 that came with the theme in order to get my backend back up.

All revolution sliders should be in the main package under the Demo content folder – Revolution slider

Im sure Kleo is a good product, but Im so discouraged already after spending 1.5 days on it and getting nowhere that I am ready to abandon it and buy something else.

When I import Specific page, be it HomeDefault (community) or Home Portfolio Full Width nothing happens, the front page stays the same its basically a simple white layout, I have to go to pages and click on a specific one to see it. When I go to pages to view those pages, I get an error saying slider alias HomeFullwidth not found, that particular slider is not in your demo/revolution slider file. There are Home default and Home simple, but no HomeFullwidth. So what should I do?

When I download one of your pages what do I have to do for it to automatically show up as my front page instead of default that I have, i cant find that step in your documentation anywhere.

Hi,I see what you mean now and that is a default Wordpress functionality where you choose your displayed homepage from Wp Admin – Settings – Reading. If you import a page it doesn’t mean it will assign as your homepage and you do it like I said above. Related to HomeFullwidth, that is just the revslider element from the page you are viewing. You import the sliders from Wp admin – Revolution slider and you find the .zip exported sliders from our demo in the main package downloaded under the Demo content folder – Revolution slider.

Let me know if that clarifies things. This is a normal process somehow and should apply to most themes out there

Im using HomeFullwidth slider for my front page, I modified it a little bit, I deleted the all button/portfolio and small black stripe on the bottom. I only have an admin bar, picture and footer with my copyright, however for some reason a white header saying home homefullwidth showed up between admin bar and picture on top when I got rid of the small black strip on the bottom. I have checked off hide header in edit page setting. How can I get rid of that white gap?

Also, looking on Ipad I only see admin bar and footer, no picture. Looking on mobile, I see picture and footer but no admin bar.

Two suggestions which I have that would make this product much simpler “out of the box” Anyway to make it ready to get with pages set up in proper order. Main page (slider), then login in, then Home/Members/”user”. I have set the slider to be my main page, but after logging in it goes back to it, instead to home/members/user screen, also anytime i click on mysite.com it goes back to slider. Is there not a way for you guys to set this up simply and logically like this? Also, since this is mostly for communities, some option of having username/password on admin bar to get rid of separate log in screen would be nice. Thanks

I figured out how to hide that header text, by deleting the breadcrumb. I am still having problems viewing the site in mobile and Ipad. Also, the Styling Options for footer dont work in the theme, I change colors and nothing happens.

The live notifications dont seem to work. Can you clarify what you mean by this? I go to that screen and dont understand what to do …

Live Notifications intervalRefresh time in miliseconds for the live menu notification. Default is 20000 which means 20 seconds. Put 0 to disable notifications refresh. Add it to the menu from Appearance – Menus – KLEO section

I would appreciate it if you could comment on live notifications, I can see the site perfect on ipad now by switching to fullscreen from responsive, but on mobile phone I cant see the admin bar info that i see on pc and ipad, i can only see a blue user icon all the way to the right, no text or login/register buttons on the left, its blank there.

Hi related to the admin bar, please put a screenshot to understand better. Related to the Live notifications: You can add the Live BuddyPress notification item to the menu from Appearance – Menus – KLEO section. To have this option available you must have BuddyPress installed and Buddypress Notifications module active(from Settings – BuddyPress). The settings for the refresh interval that it will look for new notifications is found in Theme options – Buddypress. Setting it to 0 will just disable the automatically fetching new notifications after the page load but won’t disable the menu icon.

I did read the documents on notifications but I dont know what to do, I have them enabled on buddypress but the problem is that I dont have the KLEO section in my Menus, and I dont see screen options in upper right as suggested.I dont have any menus showing there, does this need to be downoladed separately?

I wanted to upload screenshots but I cant here. The problem with mobile viewing is basically that I have an admin bar on top of my site. Site name, Login, Register etc… All of that is visible on PC and Ipad, but on Mobile no text is visible, only small man icon all the way to the right, outside of that bar is black. Could it be that there is too much text and it would not fit? Also I set up a kleo log in screen on my slider, it works fine on PC and Ipad but id does not work on mobile, after clicking it nothing happens. Are there any mobile settings i should change?

Finally, Styling Options for footer dont work in the theme, I change colors and nothing happens in my footer.

If you don’t see it in the Menus page, then from the menus page enabled it from Screen options (right-top of the page)

thats the problem, i dont see screen options in right top of the page on my page. Yes its the default WP bar text is generated by a plug in, the text is visible on PC and Ipad, but not visible on mobile

footer is not styled on firefox and chrome, but thats not really an issue for me, I just wanted to let you know though.

Related to admin bar, maybe the plugin has some CSS that hides it on mobile devices

I dont have those tabs (edit menus and manage locations) I see this: Edit your menu below, or create a new menu in that space, thats it. I doubt a plug in would do anything to hide it on mobile devices, so this is the first time anybody mentioned that to you guys?

Update on admin bar… The text does not show up on ipad in vertical layout, it shows on horizontal. On 5 inch mobile screen the text does not show up vertically and it does not show up horizontally. So, it cannot be plug in related since, it does work on Ipad in horizontal layout, something to do with layout, I am guessing there is too much text and it would not fit. Im sure this has come up before somewhere.
