You probably have some JS issue that is caused by some third party plugin. Try to deactivate all the plugins and see what will happen.

Unfortunately, shortcodes are excluded from excerpts and that is how WordPress actually works. The only way is to provide option to avoid excerpt and split post manually with “more tag”. Are you using Layout A?

Go to Theme Options -> Translation and replace “Category -” with anything you want. Or, if you want to remove it completely just put “-1”, it is already described on that page info.

I’ve resolved the matter, nothing to do with the theme, just a dodgy plugin I loaded into wordpress!!!

We haven’t fully tested it but I don’t see any problem using it. If I may ask, since this is basically a magazine/editorial theme, what will be the purpose of using this plugin?

I was trying to find a theme for a community made magazine. Wanted users to be authors and have their own walls and galleries and blog posts, but be able to share it in a main newsfeed under related categories. I really liked the clean look of the Voice, especially the Minimal Example 1. Wasn’t sure if it would work for my purpose but I bought it anyway cause it would still look good for another site.

You can disable hover effects via additional CSS I will send you code on your email.

To disable back-to-top you need to go to Theme Options / Miscellaneous and look for “Display scroll to top button” option.

The client chanceg his mind – he wants longer bios on the authors site so i neet to make it manually. Thanks though.

If you have small number of authors and you want to style them different, it is best to use default page template and just fill it with custom content related to authors
