How do you set the background image to cover the entire main content area, instead of just within the row created with visual composer? Plus, even if I do set the row background to an image, it doesn’t fit the entire main content area, despite being set to full width. Thanks for your time.
Yes you can set backgrounds for any part of the site but i can’t understand exactly what you’re trying to achieve. Could you please come with some visual examples, like screenshots with what you want to achieve and how you have them set up right now ? And also a link to your website.

You’ll have to edit the following file “wp-content/themes/kleo/page-parts/general-popups.php” around line 27, you’ll have to add to the rembember me input the checked attribute:

I added additional icons from fontello just as described and it works perfectly when I put them in the correct assets folder etc in Kleo main theme. However, it didn’t work when I put them in the right folders in my child theme so I don’t have to keep doing this on updates. Am I missing something? There are other files in the assets/CSS folder that are not in the child theme folder – I only put the fontello files in it. Do I need other files in there too or something. Anyway, just curious as to why I can’t get them to show when I put new fontello files in child theme.

Yes, unfortunately font files can’t be loaded from the child theme, so you’ll have to make a backup of your version of fontello so you can easily override future updates. We’re already trying to find a solution to cover css/font files in the future but for the moment only template files are supported in child theme.

Do new WooCommerce Customers automatically get added to the BuddyPress user database? ..or do we need the ThemeKraft integration plugin?
As long as any wordpress account logs in at least once, they will also be listed in the buddypress members section.

Please add fields in setting to adjust breadcrumbs styling (background color and font color) please. Seems something trivial to be over looked but not having it is a real hassle. Don’t know if it’s been brought to your attention but plenty of people have been posting about it in your support forum.
Oops… well… seems Alternative settings is not working for breadcrumbs as intended.
We have a pattern which we follow in using primary/secondary/alternative colors options in order to maintain overall look of the page.
If you need something more custom than this then you can just apply a few css rules and that’s it. If you need assistance with this please open a topic on our support forum.
There might be requests of such options but they are just a few isolated ones.

I really like the look of this theme. I am the Chairman of an association and we need to desperately revamp our current websites into a single WP-based site which offers not only a great theme to display our content but also show member profiles.
I don’t think a lot of Buddypress features are that important such as groups, messaging, etc. but certainly having the ability for non-members to view our association members is VERY important and the ability for them to see profiles and find them from a list of areas in which they work. Is it possible to do this sort of thing with BP?
Things like the activity stream/articles/sites/friends/groups are all pretty much useless features for us….can they be turned off?
I think i’d want to make full use of your rt plugin integration, that would be very useful for our members, ability to easily update their profile, add images and video, etc. are all very important.
In addition…what about custom profile fields? Is there that option also?

Hi, yes, the components that are useless for you can be deactivated very easy.
Also you can create as much profile fields as you need/want and you can also use a buddypress search plugin in order to achieve what you need with the locating the users by working area.
The plugin is called “BP Profile Search” and is very easy to use.

1. No, it doesn’t work yet with css here, but we’re evaluating in offering support for css hero in the future.
2. If you are happy with the options from our panel, and don’t need anything custom, then you won’t need to do any css/html modifications.
3. Yes our theme comes bundled with Visual Composer.
4. We didn’t tested with this plugin and i think there shouldn’t be any problem, just that i can’t guarantee for it.

From the wp menu editor, under “Navigation Label”, from where you type the name of the menu item, just use the em tag, for example, in the screenshot you posted the menu item label is:

Can square member avatars be used in: - Member masonry - Activity streams - Member page

In the members masonry shortcode from Visual Composer you can create such listing.
But there’s no such option out of the box for the members page or for the activity page. You can achieve this with a few css rules and I’m sure we can help you with this on our support forum if you’ll need it.

Could you please specify what changes would need to made for square avatars instead of round?
From the demo I was led to believe this was supported out of the box. Please consider the option to allow site owners to choose between round/square/square with rounded corners for user avatars via the admin panel. This would be great feature to give added design flexibility. Currently allowing round only is quite limiting. Thank you.

Hi, first of all thanks for your work on this theme. It looks great and the comments / reviews suggest it is as solid as it looks! I do have one question on functionality I want to check before purchasing, I’ll do my best to explain what I’m after…
I am more interested in using the theme as a recruitment tool than allowing users to interact with each other. Basically I need to allow for user (applicant) to be able to create, pay for, and manage their individual profile. Then a site admin reviews the profile, adds notes (not visible to the applicant), and assigns the applicant to group(s) (each group being a potential employer) that may be a good fit. Each employer upon login can only see the profiles of applicants assigned to their group. Individuals should not be able to see which groups (potential employers) they’re assigned to or be able to view other applicants. Is that functionality possible within the capabilities of this theme? I’m glad you’re choosing our theme for your future project. What you want to achieve is doable, but you’ll need to find additional plugins to cover all features that you need and there might be cases in which you’ll have to build some of the integrations or features by your own.
If you’re not a technical/programmer person, then I recommend you to hire someone for assistance, I’m saying this because your project seems to be a serious one, and you’ll need good guidance from the beginning in order to have a successful project.

I think all the restriction between an employer and an individual would be something custom. I can’t say you exactly what else should be a problem or not because i don’t know your entire project. That’s why you should find someone to help you from planning the project to actual programming work.

Hi, I’m trying to add a subnav tab on profile page. I manage to do that, but when I click it, it goes to the slug page, and as it doesnt exist, i shows the 404 page. All the functions pasted above by you need to interconnect and you’ll end having a tab and a content page under the profile menu. Please be more carefully when editing the code snippets, or try to find more examples until you manage to get it working. This is entirely up to your programming skills.

Hi, they do interconnect, the screen_function calls show screen, and show screen has add action, with the other two functions. This makes total sense to me, but dont know why it doesnt work. It also makes sense that if I click on the tab, i will go to the page with slug determined. I’ve searched and other people makes it work this way. I don’t understand your reply. Thanks

Unfortunately those counts are part of the buddypress plugin and they are not developed by us. If this really bothers you and you want a fix for it, then you should better open a topic on the buddypress community forum.

Great theme, with many seriously helpful innovations. Pretty handy to work with and I’m shortly going live. Still one question about something I just can’t figure out on how to edit:
Within the landing page, I use 3 KLEO POSTS GRIDs to display random selection of Blog Posts, Forums and Groups. As Description texts and picture seizes might differ, the display of this GRIDs somehow look like a total mess as the single display picture/text excerpt has a total different seize as the neighbor one (even within one selected content type/grid). Is there a way to force the GRID to resize picture and text excerpt to a per-defined seize so that every shown post etc. looks the same seize? (Example: last quarter of page: http://whitecollarrocker.com/)

You should edit each of your “Kleo post grid” element from page, and in the edit popup, the last filed will be “Extra class name”, please add there the following class, without quotes: “fixpostheight”, and after that, go to “Theme Options > General Settings > Quick css” and paste the following css rules. You can play with the given values of height attribute until you achieve what you need.

Yes you can add extra social items very easy with a small code snippet but unfortunately we don’t have the deviantart icon anywhere in our theme.
Here is the code to add extra social items ( add it to your functions.php file ) : http://pastebin.com/S4RYMJF7 .You should update your font icons from fontello, by importing the config.json file you can find in our theme package inside the “Asstes/Fontello” folder. After you export your new icon set, you should replace the ones from the theme an use the new selected icon class inside the code snippet i’ve provided above.

I’m having trouble updating with the new icon..I went to fontello.com and found the icon, downloaded it and replaced all the files that were in that folder to my ftp kleo/assets (json.config,css,font,files)..then I checked my list of icons inside the menu but there is no deviant icon?
Edit: Also when I did this I had not realized when I posted the note above that all my icons disappeared. I had to reinstall the entire theme to get them back as for some reason just replacing the original files only resulted in little squares in place of the icons.
In fontello, after you import the config.json, you will have aprox. 400 icons already selected, which you shouldn’t remove, just add the new ones. While adding new ones remember their classes for later use.
From what I can see you just have to try a little bit harder and I’m sure you’ll manage to get it working. Cheers
Ah this is probably what I am not understanding…I replaced for the icon..how do I just add new ones..that is not clear in your documentation either..do I need to add some text to the document?
You don’t have to replace icons, because you can broke another elements from the theme that might use that icon you’re replacing.
After you upload the config.json file, you just go and click/select new desired icons. The selected icons will have a red border. While you keep you mouse pointer over an icon you will find their name, that means that an icon with a name “star”, will have it’s class like “icon-star”.
You just add the class of the icon in the code snippet I’ve provided and that’s it.

Ohh I see..I did not upload the config.json Thank you so much kiddo!
Okay I figured out the issue the config.json file I uploaded only has 12 fonts..the file I needed was the font-icons.json (for anyone in the future reading this) And then you will have 400 something red circles around the fonts which you do not want to remove.
So now my fonts are there Yay! Can you advise me on where I should paste the code you gave me..the file is huge and I don’t want to make a mistake?
Edit: I tried to copy & paste the code after changing my url & icon but to the functions.php file but this caused my site to go completely blank.
Assuming you have the Kleo Child theme activated go to “wp-contents/themes/kleo-child/functions.php”, delete everything from that page, and put what’s in the pastebin link that i’ve gave you earlier.
It’s just a matter of practice until you’ll get it working. Cheers
