I purchased 2 licenses, once in 2017 and 2021. for the older site I used 2017 license, and it is now saying “The token was invalid”.

In envato account, it appears with no site, while the second license is fine and connected and registered via envato acount. how to re-register the first license?

Please contact Envato for any purchases that don’t appear in your account. You can use this formfor this.

Theme activation with a token was removed in v3.14, as explained here. You can update your theme and activate it with your purchase code.

Great template, just a niggle more than anything …. I have, on occasion, the need to hide a product category, but only 1 or 2 months of the year. Surely there is a way via an option, to toggle the category as visible or hidden? That way, I can toggle the categories as and when required (also hide the uncategorised category too). If by chance i have been asleep on this one – please share.

I have had someone look at a code snippet but even though it worked as tested, it didn’t in situ – here is his reply…

“If there is any hardcoded widget or loop that don’t follow WooCommerce standards, the products will be displayed. Before displaying products, we have to ensure that visibility is true. Some plugin or developer didn’t check the status.”

Basically, trying to hide categories when not required at certain times of the year. Any help would be amazing. And I know there are plugins, but i don’t want to add to the already increasing number needed for shop functions or pay either.

Thanks S

anyone able to help?

This situation is more related to the core functionality of WooCommerce itself rather than a specific theme setting. Flatsome is built to follow and respect all of WooCommerce’s standard rules for product and category visibility.

got it – thanks for the reply

after a fresh install, anytime I go to (from wordpress dashboard) appearance->menus, I get a basic html page to edit a menu, with a wordpress notice indicating my website has suffered a critical error. In my php error log, I found this:

I did already, actually. You can ignore my support request, or consider it solved. I figured it out. It was conflicting with unyson, so I have disabled unyson and I can now access the menus area. :)

Thanks for letting us know you’ve found the solution :)

Hi, i’ve got a couple of questions.

1. Product Page not showing up in Mobile. Works perfectly on Desktop. 2. How do I edit the default Portfolio page template (which shows all the items from Portfolio)? E.g, I want to add a header image. 3. How do I change the Portfolio display page to only display specific Portfolio category (in example, I created 10 different categories, but would only want to display 5 of them).

Hi, I’ve sent the ticket on 8/11, and have not received a reply.

How to remove the logo in the mobile version of the header? it’s not needed at all, and it takes up a lot of space. Thanks

Please copy and paste the CSS below into Flatsome>Advanced>Custom CSS>Mobile Only.

#masthead #logo {
  display: none !important;
}

When using a grid > text box > text, how do we prevent the text from being shortened on mobile view, as we have to scroll inside the text box to see all the text when viewing on a phone? I assume there is a setting somewhere, but I can’t find it. Thanks

While in the textbox settings, click the mobile icon in the right sidebar. In the left sidebar, you can adjust any setting with a gray dot next to it, specifically for mobile. When you change the setting, the gray dot will turn green. This indicates the setting has different values for desktop and mobile. You can also do this separately for tablets.

Excellent – thank you so much :-) ps. Love your theme!

Hi, what is expected in the 4th release and when can it be expected?

Please join our official Facebook Community to get the latest news about v4. Please remember to accept the group rules to be approved.

Does the theme include functionality to add additional category descriptions under the product grid and does it allow me to add extra tabs on product pages?

Yes. You can use the ‘Top Content’ and ‘Bottom Content’ areas in the category edit screen for category descriptions, and add extra tabs from the ‘Extra’ tab in the product editor.

What about Retina x2 support? Category pages don’t support srcset, and how do I resolve serving images of different sizes? If I add a size twice as large, the images will be oversized; if I add them at normal size, the images will be blurry.

Sorry, I messed up something with the image size settings, and now everything is correct. I changed the size settings and regenerated the thumbnails. The retina issue is solved by a larger image size, and that’s how it’s supposed to be, right?

Hello, Is there an option to hide a specific footer ( Footer #1 + Footer #2 ) in a particular category? For example: I want to hide a specific footer in all URLs under “events”. https://mydomian.com/events/

There is no built-in option for that. But you can try the snippet below:

add_filter( 'sidebars_widgets', function ( $widget_areas ) {
    // If URL starts with "/events/"
    if ( isset( $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] ) && strpos( $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '/events/' ) === 0 ) {
        $widget_areas['sidebar-footer-1'] = array();
        $widget_areas['sidebar-footer-2'] = array();
    }
    return $widget_areas;
} );

Both footer 1 and footer 2 are still showing at the bottom of the /events/ URI. I cleaned the cache, but that didn’t help. But, it works if I change it to:

$widget_areas['footer-1'] = array();
$widget_areas['footer-2'] = array();
When will you add a normal mobile navigation bar that sticks to the bottom, as well as sticky buttons for shopping cart and buy now? this is a modern pattern that greatly improves the user experience https://ibb.co/SwDfXFQL

We plan to release the feature you requested with Flatsome v4.

Hi, I have more than 3 licenses of this theme, but I still can’t add a video inside the product image gallery.

Could you please help me with this issue? Which plugin or method do you recommend to add videos in the product gallery? Please share both free and premium (paid) plugin suggestions that work well with this theme.

Thank you in advance for your support!

You can use any official WooCommerce extension, as Flatsome is compatible with all of them.

I have Flatsome 3.20.2 active. A new version has already been released, but in my WordPress profile, my version appears as up-to-date. The last time, the same thing happened and I had to update manually. But I thought that by updating, this bug would disappear, but again it appears as updated in my admin panel. Is anyone else reporting this? I have a valid license registered in my dashboard.

Auto-update is a core WordPress feature, so we don’t have direct control over it. Please see this guide for alternative methods to update the theme.

after updating the website consuming 100% CPU. What will be the issue

This is not a theme issue. For these technical problems, please contact your hosting provider or a professional.

We appreciate your understanding.

I think the communication is really really bad. I did send Tommy from Flatsome a couple messages about 4.0 that they promised to beta in October. Again no responses.. Total community is losing it and are switching to another theme. You really have to make some moves now. Release the beta of 4.0 so we can test and be happy about it. You become a miljonair with this theme and there’s no progress anymore in new features.

We’re aware that the demo we promised is slightly delayed and that you’re all eagerly waiting. We’re a small team, so some things take longer than expected.

Rest assured, our developer and design teams are working full-time on the new version. Development is almost complete. We’ll try to share a WordPress playground link with you within the next week, where you can test the new features of v4.

The satisfaction of our valued community is vital to us. We’re confident it will be worth the wait.

Thank you again for your understanding and patience.

I’ve noticed recently that orders through WooCommerce are hitting PayPal 2 times (but with the same paypal reference number) So it’s showing multiple orders, but only one is actually paid. I need urgent help.

This is not a theme issue. Please perform basic troubleshooting as guided here.

Hi UX Themes Team,

First off, Flatsome is an incredible theme – thank you for your work!

I’ve noticed a significant SEO/semantic issue in the header. The default “Login” and “Register” buttons (or links) are rendered using

tags.

Example:

Login

This is semantically incorrect and negatively impacts SEO, as H2 tags should be reserved for content subheadings, not navigation elements.

Could this please be addressed in a future update? Replacing

with a or would resolve the issue properly without affecting styling.

Thank you for your consideration and for maintaining such a powerful theme!”

The login/register button doesn’t use h2 tags. Please ensure that you’re using the latest version of Flatsome.

Wouldn’t it be nice to add the “Coming soon” Demos ? They are sitting there for, well, about 5/6+ years?

Flatsome is evolving into a hybrid theme with the new Flatsome Builder, which we are actively working on. This update will also introduce beautiful and functional demo templates and new features. We’ll be starting beta testing very soon.

Flatsome doesn’t include a native UX Builder element for a Table of Contents (TOC).

I have asked for support twice and get no response. Who do I contact.
