um literally just bought the theme – importing demo, everything happens as it should, to the point where it says success, then saves, but if i go to “Pages” There are no other pages besides “Sample Page”?

Hi, There’s an error that occurs on woocommerce category pages.

I bought this theme yesterday, but it is not working. I use Wordpress 4.9.4. I can’t edit any sites. Nothing is showing up on the backend editor, and the frontend editor is not responding to my changes. Please help/fix!

It is installed on localhost. All I have done is install a fresh install of wordpress, and then installed the theme with the included plugins. No other edits was made, but it is still not working

All menu items are showing underline (active menu state) because in those menu items you have entered full url of the page (https://www.dedicatedlawyers.law/zh/dedicated-lawyers/#teams) instead of hash (#teams) value only.
Hamburger menu is not an image, it is the default horizontal bar icons of Bootstrap, so there is no option in theme to change it.

If you have upload your logo in Theme Settings > Header and still logo is not showing then please edit your page > H-Code Page Settings at bottom > remove logo here, so it will then show the logos from theme settings.

H-Code provides one click import feature instead of individual page import, so it will import all demo pages and after your website setup you can remove not required demo pages / posts using bulk selection and removal option in WordPress backend under Pages / Posts.

Hi,
I’ve imported the demo data by following the instructions in the documentation, but I’m not sure if it was done successfully. While the demo data was importing, a long list of messages (a sample of which I’ve pasted below) appeared on the screen. After about 17 minutes, the final message appeared, that the “import doesn’t respond”. This would suggest that there was an issue with the import, but when I checked the results, it seemed that all the demo pages, widgets and setting had been imported. I previewed one of the pages, and it seemed intact. However, given the large amount of data imported, I couldn’t check everything. Should I assume, despite the final message that “import doesn’t respond” that the demo data was imported successfully, or should I change one or more php variables and retry importing the demo data?

Above may happen if your server settings are not as recommended and hence import take long time to complete. It is difficult to say if all demo data are there in your setup without checking.

I have just started using H-code, and I am wondering how to make an image gallery where the thumbnails are just that, thumbnails and when the image thumbnail is clicked, the full size image is loaded?
Right now, using the srcset option to modify the gallery, either the thumbnails are actually just scaled versions of the full image OR when the real thumbnail is clicked it only opens the thumbnail again… What to do!?

Logo will remain same size in all standard devices (refer this article for logo size change – http://wpdemos.themezaa.com/h-code/documentation/change-logo-size/) but for retina devices like iPhone and iPad, you can mention your desired logo size in header settings under theme settings.

Stupid question but can’t find any answer : with a sticky top menu, how can I make the menu bar not hide the top of the page? I want the page to start below the menu.

Change your top row shortcode > style tab > disable padding settings or remove No Padding selection and then it will add theme default padding to move your top row content down.

Hello, I have like 40 portfolio items and I have set the element to load 9, I wanted to add pagination below the portfolio, I understand infinite loading is not available yet. So is there a workaround or should i just load all portfolio items in one page?

Portfolio shortcode is basically designed to add a portfolio grid block in home page with some recent works, so pagination feature is not there in the portfolio shortcode. For now you can show recent X items and add a button below portfolio grid which link to a new page and there you can add Portfolio shortcode with all items or you can link that button to your portfolio custom post landing page – yourdomain.com/portfolio

Thank you for your reply. Another question if you don’t mind. I wanted to add a bunch of links in the footer 4 menu that contained single portfolio items. But I can’t add them as portfolio links (like pages, posts, categories). My only choice is custom link. How do you add portfolio links to the menu?

Your themes look beautiful! I am probably going to use one for my new site, but I am not sure which one. I am mostly looking at H-code and Brando, but also at Paperio.
I want to create a site that will have a blog (videos, articles, pictures), testimonials, multiple static pages, events (which can be booked and payed for), and possibly restricted content at some point. Also, I want to add a pop-up plugin for conversions. So how does plugin compatibility go with these themes (h code and brando)?
I really like brando, but am not sure if I will be fighting with it, because it is a onepage theme. It almost looks like h-code is a more feature rich version of brando or brando is a lighter version of h-code.
Also, what do you have going on with your server for the demo sites? I have been running speed tests and Avada scores really well. BUT, I found that a lot of that is due to their server speeds and not the themes coding (which makes sense, it is a very feature rich theme). I don’t expect you to comment on the avada thing, but I am hoping that your theme is as light and quick as it seems.
It seems every theme talks about SEO optimized, but not all of them actually are… it seems many are not.

Paperio is purely a blog theme only. Brando and H-Code both are different themes. Brando is one page theme but you can of course create as many pages as you want.
H-Code contains different portfolio and blog styles and yes you can add videos, pictures, testimonials, and password protected post / page is WordPress default feature. For events and popup you can use your desired plugin but you will need to do custom styling as per your need.
Yes there are chances of having somewhat low score in Google page speed mainly because of high quality images used in demo pages but yes code and structure is optimised for speed and it is W3 total caching plugin compatible also. Code is also optimised for SEO, implemented hentry and structured data and it is Yoast compatible.

As per Envato licence policy https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard one regular theme license can be used for one website / domain only, so yes you will need to purchase multiple licenses for multiple websites, one for each.
By default sidebars display in left or right and WooCommerce filter widgets are added in the sidebar, so those filters can be visible in left or right sidebar. You will need to consult your WP developer to customise theme and WooCommerce to have filters at top.
