I have just updated ver. 2.0 (22.07.2019), deactivated/deleted and reinstalled/activated the H-Code Addons, Revolution Slider and WPBakery Page Builder plugins, however the website looks completely broken now. Can you let me know if I’ve missed something in the steps or if this requires further investigation?

I’ve just run a few tests and it looks like everything renders correctly when the main theme is activated but the corruption seems to appear when the child theme is active.
I’ve not had this issue before when updating previous versions of H-Code (with child theme active since site conception). Has the updated code been fully tested with child theme installations? Do you have any recommended steps as part of the update to fix this (aside from not using the child theme)?

Hi Erin,
By default child theme will be blank which come with theme package and yes it is tested but different users can have their own custom code added in child theme. So in this case you need to check your custom code to make it compatible with latest theme update and change it as needed.

That may be because of conflict of latest slider revolution plugin update. Please disable and delete that plugin and install previous working version for now from Appearance > Install Plugins and that should help.

Hello, im having trouble when trying to add 2 portfolios in the same page. Or Portfolio + Spa Packages.
It seems the same Portfolio filter will mess with all portfolios in the page, and that’s not what i want to happen. They should work independently.
They wont work at all.

Yes that is the conflict generated in latest WooCommerce version and that will be taken care in upcoming theme update but meantime Please go to Appearance > Theme Settings > WooCommerce > Product Page > Enable Default WC Image Gallery ( Set “Yes” ). Then open this file – /wp-content/themes/h-code/woocommerce/content-single-product.php and do below code change.

Hello! I’ve purchased the theme license twice (the second time recently for a client) my question is, with the second site I am wanting to use the Center Logo header style but when I select logo position (center) the navigation bar menu items are stacking in 2 rows instead of on the left and right of the centered logo. I’m not understanding why this is happening. In the theme demo it clearly shows navigation menu items in one row on both sides of the logo. Thanks in advance.

For centered logo style you can assign primary (left) and secondary (right) menus at Appearance > Theme Settings > Menus.

Yes you can setup portfolio post as Link type and enter your desired external full url, so when that post image will be clicked from portfolio grid, it will go to your entered url instead of portfolio detail page.

Commercial paid themes are not hosted on WordPress.org, so you will not get notification in WP backend. But in your ThemeForest account panel and under Downloads, you can check mark to get notified when the item is updated, so you will get email notification from ThemeForest in future.

DB structure will be WordPress database tables, theme will not use any different structure. If your post / page contents will have features / shortcodes from existing theme then those may not work with any new theme as different themes will have different styles and features.
So it is better to setup a beta site of your existing one, install new theme, change header menu, pages / posts content, style as per your requirement.

Your theme won’t display search results for Portfolio posts or any other custom post types. If I switch to Twenty Nineteen theme it finds results for Portfolio posts. I had a clean install and just your latest theme. Is there some setting I can’t seem to find?

I have this installed on two dev servers and a live server for the same website (I made a fresh install just for this search issue), if this is a problem I have no problem purchasing it again but need to know that the Search problem can be fixed, otherwise I need to get a different theme.

Good day, we’ve run into problems with the theme. When selecting product variations the product image does not update to reflect the variation image. We deactivated all plugins and only activated the latest h-code parent theme (v1.9.9) but the problem still persists. We turned on the Enable Default WC Image Gallery setting but the problem still persists. Only when we switched themes to WordPress 2019 (with WooCommerce being the only plugin activated) did functionality return to normal. Please advise.

Yes that was the conflict of WooCommerce latest version, H-Code 1.9.9 was tested with WooCommerce 3.6.1. That fix will be taken care and tested with WooCommerce latest in upcoming theme update. So you can then update theme and included plugins.

As this is demo site, we have removed payment methods so users cannot place the order. You can add products in the cart and go to checkout, and there instead of the message at bottom, it will display the available payment options radio list (like Paypal, cash on delivery, etc…), other than that everything will be same as you can see there.
