what was updated in todays release?
Hi there,
We’ve just updated the changelog. Have a great day
Thanks
Hi, before purchasing I would like to know how the information is treated with your template. Are there any kind of KMS functionalities to list/edit/insert/delete each item or are should I write them directly in the Wordpress code? Or are the items taken directly from a DB (i.e. MySQL)? Thank you.
Hi there,
This theme works directly in WordPress. The data is stored as WP posts. Unfortunately we can’t support any customizations outside what the theme provides (colors, options etc).
Thanks
^^ awaiting the update patiently ^^
also would be great if we also see new features
Are there plans to update Font Awesome to the latest version? From what I can tell, 3.2 is installed. Having an outdated version has given me some issues with some plugins like Shortcodes Ultimate.
Hi Antoni,
Just seen your support request. Yes, I’m going to be updating the theme within the next couple of days to fix this and improve a few other areas.
Thanks
Can you tell me comment form id because i used knowhow theme with wordpress Thread Comment plugin, thanks.

Is there a way to create multiple FAQ categories?
As far as I can tell, it looks like you can only create one long list of frequently asked questions.
I’m looking to create multiple FAQ lists each based around a different theme, just like the category / article structure.
Is this possible and if not, is there a work around?
Hi there,
Unfortunately having multiple FAQ pages isn’t a feature of the theme. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
Hi, can I restrict my whole site to ONLY registered and logged-in members?
Registration access and usernames will be given by site admin and people will not be able to register to the system. I’m trying to prepare a company KB for workers only and not visible by visitors/search engines etc.
If this is doable, I’ll buy it now, thanks.
Hi there,
There are various plugins that can help you with this. Which one depends on your requirements. Here’s what a quick Google search brought up: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-restrict-wordpress-site-access-by-ip-or-logged-in-users/
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
Upon clicking a FAQ, the URL is amended with #FAQtitle. Using that URL in a separate browser does not point to that anchor. Is there any functionality to be able to link to directly to open FAQ accordions or tabs on a page?
We would like to send customers direct links to open FAQ accordions. Surely this is possible?
Hi there,
Unfortunately this isn’t possible with the theme at the moment but I’ve made a note to look into this for a future update.
Thanks
I’d like to use this theme for a product knowledge base, but I’d like to use it only to display information that is specific to the product that the customer has.
For instance, if the customer has a Samsung TV, I don’t want them to find any information for an LG TV.
Are you aware of anyone who’s achieved this before? Customers already have a login to their online account (a different website), so I could send a POST/GET parameter when I link the customer to the Wordpress knowledge base which specifies the product they have.
Any suggestions appreciated!
Hi there,
I’m not aware of any customers doing this and unfortunately it’s not something we’ve explored. You may want to get in touch with a WordPress consult who has experience in this sort of integration to help you.
Thanks
Hello,
Great theme. I purchased the theme and trying to use an outside Live Search plugin Ajax Search Form(https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajaxy-search-form/). But the plugin does not work. Can you help? I am using the latest version and have turn off the default live search already.
Hi there,
Unfortunately we can’t assist with 3rd party plugin integrations.

Hi,
We need to sort categories and posts in the homepage, sorting by date is not a good option for us as we’d like to present the most common question right under the category in the homepage.
I’ve seen many comments on sorting category and posts on homepage, it was 2 years ago and your answer was that you will find a solution for that. Did you do anything about it? or do you have solution?
Please let me know how fix it.
Thanks George.

Sent, will appreciate a quick answer. Thanks.
Hi there, it says Last Update was on 4 November 14 but the theme is still v1.1.6 which i have already got since your previous update! please enlighten me on what has changed?
Hi there,
The latest fixes were for localisation and plugin compatibility (WPML). It looks like the version number wasn’t increased so I’ll fix that.
Thanks
I was wondering if there is an easy way to style the main search bar. I would like to be able to change it to a rectangle, as well as the search button.
Hi there,
The theme doesn’t have any options to do this, so you would need to use a child theme.

What was included in the most recent update? The changelog has not been updated.
Hi there,
The most recent version (1.1.6) was a general bug update. Mostly minor bug fixes.
Thanks
I have the same problem as one of the previous commenters:
quote: “On page 3 of this comment section you refer someone to 1.3 “Setting up an FAQ” page. In the documentation that I received with my purchase there isn’t a single instance of FAQ anywhere in the documentation if you search for that term.
Where is the instructions for setting up a FAQ page like this one: http://demo.herothemes.com/knowhow/faq/
Sincerely Jens

Hello dear,
I have seen your theme and it was wonderful , i really like it ..
My big Q is , Does your themes work with Arabic site ?
Thank you.
Hi there,
Unfortunately the theme isn’t RTL language compatible. Sorry about that.
Thanks
Can you do it for me, in extra $ , if you don’t mind …
Hi there,
Unfortunately we don’t carry out any freelance work.
Thanks
Hi there,
really nice theme!
Would like to use arrow down to toggle ajax / live search results, then hit enter or space to follow selected result. Would that be possible to add to this theme ahead? (i know – power user feature – however, its would follow usability from google search
)
Thanks
Best regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
It’s not a feature of the theme, but it’s a great idea. I’ve added it over to our ideas board to look into for possible inclusion in a future update
Thanks
Does this theme or any of your themes have the ability to have canned responses when people fill out a support request? We would like to be able to reply to support tickets quickly. Everything else looks great but we need this feature. Let me know if this theme has it or one of your others. Or if there is any other options for that? Thanks!
Also do we have to require users to login or register or can we disable that and let anyone access and send support requests?
Hi there,
I’m not sure what aspect of the theme you are referring to as there isn’t any sort of support ticket system included in this theme.
Could you clarify?
Thanks
Can be added google’s prettify to knowhow theme’s shortcodes area to make and show code samples better? is theme support it?
Hi there,
It’s not a feature of the theme, so you’d need to use a plugin or customize the theme to add the feature.
Thanks
