Is there a way to improve the way this theme handles subcategories? When I categorize an article as a subcategory, but leave the parent category unchecked, it will list the article under the home page twice. Once under the parent and once under the subcategory.
One way to possibly fix this is to exclude subcategories from the home page and the knowledge base category list. Or at least show the hierarchy in the knowledge base category list.
Any suggestions?

It’s currently not a feature of the theme, but I’ve made a note of your request. I’m looking at ways of making the homepage more flexible in the next version.
It’s possible to do in your case with an edit of index.php and look for ”// Sub category”. Then find the get_category function and add the ‘number’ => x, argument. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_categories

If you’ve made customizations to the theme, then you will loose them (i.e. edited the theme files). This is why it’s best to use a Child Theme if you customize.
All theme options and WP data will not be removed when upgrading.

We purchased this theme at my job. After installing it, the category and tag pages on my site all come up with 404 errors, saying “Oops, cannot be found”. I tested with other themes and did not have this problem. Do you know what may be causing this?

Hi, this is an awesome theme and one which fits exactly what I’ve been looking for – so much so I bought two licenses for two sites
However – it seems there is a small oversight. I’ve got the homepage configured to have a left sidebar, and other pages use the left sidebar template. But – how do I change the FAQ page to match ? There is only a single FAQ template and this has the sidebar on the right

I just purchased this theme, and out of the box the install failed. It says it’s missing “style.css”.

To be honest, without looking into the technicalities, I don’t have a clue.
This is the perfect theme for the knowledge base that we will use towards our distributors.
However, are there smart ways to push or edit content on the pages/articles? I was thinking maybe to sync cloud-documents with the pages….is that possible?

I’m thinking of buying this theme to implement as a Knowledge base for my company, however we are currently using Internet Explorer 8 due to application restrictions, but will most likely upgrade in the future at some point.
There are some features of the site that do not appear to work as if they were to work on IE9 + or FireFox, or Chrome.
Can you implement an update to fix these simple items?
(Ex. Search Bar is Box-Style instead of the corners rounded)
(Ex. Not all short codes display accurately)
(Ex. Tabs & Toggle short codes are blue / black)
(Ex. Note short code does not have the dithered box around the word “Note”)
(Ex. Live Search feature stacks text instead of aligning it horizontally)
If these adjustments can be made, I would gladly purchase this theme.

Older browsers don’t support rounded corners, so they appear square instead.
(Ex. Shortcodes)

Hmm, I may have spoken too soon. The layout looks fine on my PC at work on IE8 , but on a co-workers machine, it still looks as if it was before I posted anything about any changes.

I’m thinking of using this theme for a wiki that I’m interested in using, I have looked at your demo and it seems to be more knowledge base than wiki. How easy is it to turn this into a wiki site? Do you have any suggestions on additional tools, plugins, etc I would need to make this a good wiki.

Using a plugin such as this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-wiki-plugin/ you can effectively turn the knowledge base into a wiki (allow user groups to edit and add pages etc).
