Many of our customers are using Payment gateway plugins for WooCommerce without any issues.

This is a very important question. Consider following points that we’re offering with WPLMS:
1. WPLMS is a totally wordpress solution. We’re not adding anything extra in WordPress + BuddyPress + BBPress + WooCommerce. No custom tables are added in your Database, everything is stored in your WP Site in your WP tables. So, your information is safe and secure unless you migrate away from WP.
2. WPLMS is going to be SCROM & TinCan compatible in future upgrades. We’ll be recording everything in an LRS, so everything that happens in WPLMS can be read and comprehended by other LMS’s. So, if you migrate away from WPLMS to other LMS, no information is lost.
3. WPLMS Documentation. We’ve already started work on revising the documentation, we’re adding docs for developers, newbies and DIYs , so it is easy for anyone to edit and maintain the product.
Last but not the least, we’re committed to deliver solutions and we’ll be actively maintaining this product in future for sure.

Yes, courses can be made free. But they’re still only accessible to those who are logged into the site.

1. This is similar to Membership system. We recommend using PMPro plugin with WPLMS. You can check the PMPRO Demo here.
2. There are various BuddyPress plugins available for this which you can install and setup with WPLMS.
3. No, course module is a separate module, however it can be connected with Groups/Forums etc.. for more you can try the instructor demo.
4. Yes, order completion emails can be configured as per your requirements. Apart from this notifications are sent on every notable action, like course/quiz evaluations, event invitations within the BuddyPress system.
5. Currently there is no concept of start date. Everything starts when the product is purchased.
6. This is a WooCommerce feature. Orders can be marked as complete manually from the Orders panel. We also have an Administration panel using which anything in WPLMS can be controlled. We’ve given tutorials and tips on how to change settings using the panel.

This feature has been asked many times and we have added it in our feature list. However, we’ve a couple of major upgrades coming up after which I’ll update the timelines for this.

1. You’re correct in identifying that a purchaser account is necessary for Course purchase/subscription. The checkout page you’re seeing is controlled by settings in WooCommerce. You need to enable account creation on checkout page and Guest checkout needs to be disabled. However, it is related to a bug and it will be fixed with the update.

We’ve not yet decided the release date on this because even though development has started, we’re waiting for few major releases before updating timelines on features like BadgeOS.

Currently there is no concept of pre-saved credits/money in the theme. Everything you need to purchase has to be paid upfront. So, as of now this is not possible. However, you can try an alternate way : create products for extra content/pdfs and connect products as related products to the original course and then cross sell your content using WooCommerce

I understand your idea. if i create products for extra content/pdfs, in details page is still button “take this course”, is not “Download this document”. I want sell both video course and documents, use 2 buttons “take this course” and “Download this document”, can you help me about this?

When you create a WooCommerce Product for the Course, you mark it as Virtual and downloadable. You can attach the pdf/docs course material with the product which would be downloaded on product purchase. Apart from this you can connect course material with units links to download those are shown at the end of each unit.

1. Currently WPLMS functions as a single unit and we’ve not tried to separate out plugins to function independently, Though this is planned at some point.
2. WPLMS is Multisite compatible, so you can easily allow your users/instructors to create and maintain their separate blogs and it would automatically be integrated in WPLMS.
3. Yes, BadgeOS and myCred are on our todo list.
There are a lot of fixes coming up with every version update and many of them are related to mobile view port, so the theme is becoming more polished with every version.

We have a big import/export module under development for WPLMS, which is basically an extension of old Vibe Importer plugin. This plugin would be available in future updates of WPLMS.

As I understand it, you can use it for classes by using each course for each class, maybe a little more description of what you plan to do would help in understanding it better. Class limit feature has been requested many times, so we may plan to include it in future, but as of now limiting students in classes is not possible.
