Can you explain what does the new feature “WooCommerce Direct Checkout” mean? It skips “Add to cart” and seeing the cart? In my opinion, the purchase path should be shortened. People who seek to buy online courses/trainings don’t shop like buying physical products. Trainings are not so cheap. They buy a single course or a bundle of courses (sold in a single product), take the course and see for themselves whether or not to buy more. So, going to PayPal (or other payment options) must be as short as possible. The profile creation must be upon checkout (profile activation, etc. must not distract the customer before paying)
Maybe Billing and Payment details must be in a single step. Review order must be skipped as a separate step. Maybe it’s better that the customers sees the order on the same page where he enters the billing and payment details

Direct checkout means, you click on “add to cart” and it takes you to the checkout page, thereby avoiding 2 steps, page reload and cart page. Try it here.
hmm… some important pointers. Its all about shortening the checkout process. In my opinion a faster checkout means lesser options, since the overall number of options are the same for every checkout, we give the impression of reduced options by increasing the number steps. This makes the checkout simpler for the user, maybe you’re concentrating too much on number of steps. This type of decision should be backed by data analytics.

All the updates are auto-updates and you’ll get the update notification in your WP Admin -> Dashboard -> Updates.
Yes your language settings will be overwritten. Make sure you always keep a backup of translation files.
Do you already know when the event planer might be ready?

Just bought the theme, but when I install the Buddypress plugin all screens go to blank. The only way to get back to admin is by deleting the plugin through FTP.
Ofcourse the BBpress plugin is essential, can you help me out on this?

Yes this is an issue we also faced while upgrading BuddyPress from 1.9.1 to 1.9.2, it is related to an buddypress in-built function. The previous theme version 1.1 had an outdated link to version 1.9.1. We updated it to new link in the latest version. You’ll not face this issue if you install the plugins from the Appearance->Install plugins. If you are unable to resolve this, email me your WP Admin credentials at vibethemes@gmail.com

Why do I have the course EXPIRED? where do I change the date ? you should documentate a better way to explain how to create the courses, and how to add the books, texts, images to each course.
Hope you can Help me cuz you said you was going to release the .po .mo for changing the vibe language and still I don’t see it.

Course Expired is shown when the subscription for the course expires or the maximum duration of the course expires. If you’re creating a new course make sure you’ve entered a value in this field.
We maintain a live version of documentation which is updated frequently refer Live documentation, if you need to extend the course duration on an adhoc basis it is given in documentation.

I create a new wordpress from scratch since I download the new upadte, so I create a new course and put the value in Total Duration of course and when I go to the Course it says COURSE FINISHED but I haven’t even start the course :/ can you help me with this ??

Did you click on “Submit Course for Evaluation” ?
One possibility is that demo data comes with pre-built data, so it may happen that the database may already have a value saved for the user who is trying to take the course (which may have been deleted).
Go to Course -> Admin -> Reset Course for the student. You can also reset it from the admin panel.
On a side note : we’ve added a new tips section in the tutorials make sure you check it regularly, we keep on adding new tutorials & tips in the live documentation
On The font page, there are 5 menues, Online Courses, Become an Instructor, Multi Media Units. Suscribe Courses, How I can delete on of them, and at the bottom there is a link that say “more”, how link that part to a page where I can put more information

I could not get what you’re referring here. We have 4 menu locations and a Widgetized mega menu. The Mega menu comprises of custom menu widgets added to the mega menu sidebar.
Make sure you’ve checked the documentation
On second thoughts, I guess you’re referring to the Feature blocks on the home page. Here’s how you can edit them:
1. Edit the HomePage.
2. Locate the Page builder metabox.
3. Locate the relevant blocks to edit.
4. Click on edit link to edit the blocks and add a url to edit the more.

Each course is connected to a WooCommerce Product. The price of this product is shown for each course.
So, to change the price of the course simply edit the price of the product.

Hi there guys sorry about my questions however i have gone though all the comments and unable to find answers.
As the users will be selling their skills on our site is it possible to edit the instructor area.
Can it also be possible for the instructor to add the price or suggested price that want for the product they are selling.
Can i remove some of the info that is requested in the add course. All i need from the users is the following:
Title Description Upload Photo Price Duration of course
As all mine are going to be face to face courses can i remove the lessons posts and other unneeded sections in wp admin.. The main one is the price
From admin section you have stated that i can add price and courses can i then allocate the course to the user.

Hello, I was just wondering whether the website will be affected if the theme directory name was changed.
Assuming you want to change the name of the theme folder from wplms to something else. You also need to modify the constants used throughout the theme. Locate these constants in wplms->includes->config.php

also ran the update from the dashboard and it is telling me it is up to date but in WPLMS dashboard it is telling me that I am version 1.1

Also the contact form is a bit sketchy. When processing it first says “unable to process” then quickly says “message sent”. Also what I get in the email is a single line like this

the headers are missing and it should have name:, email: message: etc. and in the form builder the info is different than what is sent in the subject. I also want to remove the wordpress@mywebsite format

I am still not seeing any notification or update. plus I have customized the theme heavily in many of the css file, etc so what happens to them?

Download the WPLMS customized plugin from forums and copy your CSS changes in the plugin. If you’re not getting the updates try te downloading the package from tf and uploading it back again. Are you not getting updates for the plugins as well?
I’m getting updates for the plugins but not the main one which would include the contact form and other goodies. or will it always just say the initial upload version in the WLMPS editor

hi there i am in the instructor area however i am having issues trying to find where to change the price for the course, i can see the area where i can give a free course but when i look at the page in view post the price is £39 please help

Creating and Managing Products on the site is not in Instructors domain. This access is given to administrator only. However, an Instructor can set her course as free.
Is there a way so as admin I can create courses with the pricing and allocate it to the user.
Yes as admin, you can create a course, create a product and connect them with each other.

2. Yes. You can combine Courses into a Course Category like: http://vibethemes.com/envato/wplms/course-cat/business/. Since in WPLMS you can add multiple courses in a single product, you can sell the whole package as a WooCommerce Product ( single or subscription for all courses) example.
3. No, currently you can only create a static quiz from pool of questions.
4. Custom Course Certificate is possible but it is one style for all courses in the site.
5. No, this feature is not supported in the theme currently.
I’m noticing that I can’t change the submenu background color through the customizer. I don’t see an options for this in the theme options as well. Is this a bug? I’ve tried posting messages in the support forum. None have been responded to yet though.

yeah, I set it fine. but either as default or horizontal it causes the error.
Confirming, this. It is a CSS issue with the slider displaying tweets. Would be fixed in next version. I will post a quick fix in forums to resolve this.

Hello, I’m having problems with my theme, the forum is having issues, when I click to Private Forum I got this url -> /groups/forum/about/about/about/about/about/about/about/about/about/about/ on the url :/ so it doesnt load anything, can you help me seting up the whole theme?
