Hi,

1. We have an option to enable the Featured Image in the Blog Post open in Lightbox. This option is given in the Options panel under OSHINE OPTIONS > BLOG SETTINGS. However, if you want images within the Post Content to be opened in Ligthbox, you can enable the Page Builder for Blog posts under the same panel and add a Gallery Module to display your images. The images in gallery module, like you know, will open in lightbox.

2. We have the option to set the height of the Carousel in the theme, and hence in most cases the size of the images in the Carousel will be bigger than what will be pulled up in the Lightboxes that we use in the theme . However we will consider both these features for our future updates.

1.) The Header Border will not appear, if you have set the Header Style as ‘Transparent’ or ‘Semi Transparent’ in the Header and Hero sections metabox. If you are not getting the border in a default Header style itself, please email me your credentials (URL,wp-admin id and password) so I can make a fix in your site.

To hide it on Sticky Header, use the css code below -

#header-inner-wrap .header-border {
    display: none !important;
}

2.) Unfortunately, no. Alternatively you have option to upload a different logo for Sticky Header under OSHINE OPTIONS > LOGO, which you can make use to upload a smaller logo.

3.) This feature is not added and is currently not available.

4.) You can use the css code below to reduce the spacing slightly, however it is not possible to bring the sub-menu right below the main nav link, if the height of logo is more

#navigation-right-side .sub-menu, 
#navigation-left-side .sub-menu{
    margin-top: -25px;
}

But note that, if you are enabling the Border, pushing the sub menu up, might not look good as it will overlap on the border.

If you are using the Child Theme, you can place the custom css code (including the ones given above) in the style.css in the Child Theme.

You can install the plugin manually. The latest version of plugin is included in the theme’s buyers package in the folder named ‘plugins’. You can install it via the plugin screen in the Dashboard by clicking on ‘Add New’ and upload the plugin zip file from the said folder.

There ins’t an option to save the layout as template in the Page Builder. You can use the Section Copy/Paste feature to replicate the sections in other pages. Or, an even easier option is to use the ‘Duplicate Post’ plugin. You can ‘Clone’ an existing page/post that you created and customise it using that.

The dynamic changing of color for the Menu Links, will happen on the page if you enable the ‘Scroll To Section’ option in the OSHINE – OTHER LAYOUT OPTIONS metabox. This setting will enable Scroll Jacking in your page, and the page will scroll one section per scroll. Please note that, this effect will suit, if all the Sections in your page are set up as Full Screen Sections in your page, like the sample demo link.

Alternative, if you page comprises of both full screen, and normal sections, it is better to enable the “sticky header” option (in the HEADER AND HERO SECTIONS METABOX) so that the Menu Links are readable and also the header scroll’s along the page.

You can try this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/. However , we have not tested the theme with this plugin and hence cannot assure 100% compatibility. You can also find several other plugins for this purpose too. So i suggest you try them and find the one that will best suit your purpose.

Hi,

You can import just the Settings of another demo on to your site, without having the content imported. You need to go to APPEARANCES > IMPORT DEMO DATA, and choose the Demo from the 1st drop down and the Settings from 2nd. Ex. if you choose v7, the settings in your site will change like the v7 demo.

Alternatively, if you just want to change the Header Style, you can do so by configuring the option under OSHINE OPTIONS > TOP HEADER SETTINGS.

To add a Video Blog Post, you need to choose the Type of Post in the Right Side Panel as ‘Video’ and add the Link to the video in the option called ‘Youtube/Vimeo Video URL’ in the Post Format Options metabox.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to turn off the lightbox feature in Gallery Module.

If you do not want the images to open in Lightbox, you can use add the Images in a Text Block Module in the Page Builder, instead of the Gallery Module.

You are looking at the Section Settings. The option is available in the Column’s Settings. The icon to open the Column Setting, can be found at the Bottom of the Column in Page Builder. I want to put the background for the entire website not just the content area. And it’s clickable like the 2 wings side of the website.

Unfortunately, you cannot make the Background of the entire site ‘clickable’. You have the option to add image as BG to the Content area under OSHINE OPTIONS > BACKGROUNDS.

To change the color of the text in lightbox, you need to use the custom css code below -

Like i said, the Images in the Blog Post, will occupy the width of the container, and the height is adjusted based on the aspect ratio. Although the width of the Images are around 1000px, the container width is 820px when you are using the sidebar, and the images will fit this space which is normal, and I do not see any incorrect cropping in the images.

One of the images have a 1:1 aspect ratio and the other 2.35… but on the page i’ve done they both have the same aspect ratio.

Yes i further checked the natural sources of the images, and i see that the ratios do not match. To prevent the blog featured image from being cropped, install the child theme, add this code to the functions.php of your child theme.

I have tried that, but cannot find a way to turn off the suggested videos at the end (YouTube) or all of the title/profile imagery on either Vimeo or YouTube. Any tips on how to clean up video links?

Yes you can. You have the option in the OSHINE – PORTFOLIO SETTINGS meta box to configure this. In here, in the ‘Portfolio Grid – Thumbnail Settings’ tab do the following -

1. Enable option ‘Open Thumbnail in New tab’

2. Set the option called ‘Link Thumbnail To’ to ‘External URL’

3. Enter the link in the option called ‘External URL’
