hello, i would like to ask if it is recommended to install uncode-child theme? if it is so, i install by uploading the theme in Appereance —> Theme --> Add New Theme -> Install Now : the uncode-child.zip file you provide in the download files? So after that i activate it and use this as default. And all the changes as fonts, backgrounds etc i do it manually in style.css file of child theme?

AND OF COURSE THERE IS NOT INSTALLED THE THEME..

obviously the best theme ever to be built! thank you—I understand the remove transparency on the page settings or pages settings – however I would like transparency on the home page, in my current settings which achieves the transparency on the home , I get my header block on top/behind the menu – when i switch to page to be non transparent by default , I cannot seem to find a way to get transparency on a single/home page – can you advice how to have normal behavior without transparency on most pages, yet achieve transparency on the home or specific pages? thank you for making something awesome and I look forward to learning how!

This is an scenario, if you need the menu is transparent in the homepage you need to set the menu to be transparent, then just try to not use header in the other pages (I’m mean instead insert headers as headers insert inside the page contents). Hi, I have one problem with Portfolio. I added Page to the PostType. When I add a page in the Index content and save, the featured image on the front page, from that page doe not show. It only says Media not available. If I click, it redirects me correctly the page. Any solution for this problem? Thanks.

I am looking to use your theme for a new clients project and have a question. Is there a way to have diagonal lines separating each row? Like this: http://demos.artbees.net/jupiter5/shortcodes/shape-divider/
If not can a plugin be used or do you think your coding will conflict? The client uses diagonal lines in all their advertising so I have to be able to incorporate this.
Hi artistic24459! We have not tested plugins for this, I have seen an user that have made something like this but I don’t know if was a plugin or customisations. We have this in our list and this we’ll be a new feature 100%, unfortunately we cannot give you a deadline for this.

1. Here you can find all the informations about use the logo, anyway it’s pretty odd you don’t see it, have you set also the height parameter: http://www.undsgn.com/uncode/documentation/logo-options/
2. The menu color is automatically set by Uncode based on the skin of the column container of the header, for example if you check this example you can see the menu change color based on the slider: http://www.undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/classic-agency/

Hi, I wonder, how do I add a ID attribute for a link to a column, textblock or single image? IDs are used pretty often. I need to open a textblock in a new fancybox popup, currently trying Easy Fancybox for this. But, because I cannot add a ID things get complicated. Thanks!

I’ve found a bug – you cannot use an anchor text/link on the final slide in content blocks using “content slider” element. If you disable loop – it works. If loop is enabled, the anchor link is unresponsive. Thought you all should know!

1. This is a default from WooCommerce and we can help hide with a few CSS, otherwise if you need a more advanced solution you can also create a normal page, create your design with Visual Composer and insert the Buy button, so you have a completely “blank” canvas to work with in custom mode. I hope this make sense.
2. The whole shop is based on the famous WooCommerce (the most advanced and trusted ecommerce solution for WordPress), I think this is an option, this is just a tutorial on Woo users registration: https://blogvault.net/woocommerce-customer-registrations/ but you can find dozen out there and in case there are tons of plugins and addon you can explore.

Hey there! Presale question. I would love to buy this template, but I have a few questions.
1. Is it possible to have something like page in page? An example to make it more clear what I mean: If you have a metro list of several Services. Then you click on one service and something like a lightbox with additional information is showing up. You can interact with it or close it again and you see all services again. Is this possible?
2. Is it possible to show the sidebar (with chat and so on) on mobile? Is there custom code needed, and is it easy to use? (I’m familiar with coding).

1. No sorry this is not an option right now, we have received a few request and we have in our to do list but this will be not part of the next theme update (it’s generally referred as “ajax contents”).
2. The small widget you see on the demo it’s not part of the theme, anyway the chat is a free plugin that perfectly works combined with Uncode and it’s also visible on mobile. This is named Intercom Chat for WordPress and it’s super suggest tool.

1. A few users have just requested this option for the portfolio contents.
2. It’s normal when you browse theme on ThemeForest that authors insert this kind of widget just to show some options, we have received request also for this, maybe users like the minimal integrated design. I have never searched but I think that if you search the plugin repository terms like “fixed, widget, float, etc” it’s possible there is something. otherwise if you are able to master with a few HTML and CSS you can copy the file of our and integrate yourself time this will be an new options.<vr>

The portfolio items are connected only to the relative page and you cannot have at the same time both the link to the inner page both the an external link, sorry. In case you need to use the gallery module that is pretty similar in the visual results to a portfolio index (has the same set of options) where you can associated an external links, for example our showcase page it’s done this way: http://www.undsgn.com/uncode/showcase/

AHA.. what I’m going for is a metro grid, as in the portfolio Metro with option to EITHER (not both) link to the case(inner page) og outside. I’m new to the visual composer but know my way around coding(sorta). So would I be able to add a custom field to my portfolio item that links externaly?

I think you misunderstood.. I don’t want 2 links. I wan’t to control what the portfolio item are linking to. Do you have an url option in the portfolio item? or are the portfolio locked to the inner page?
Hi casregime, we perfectly understood your needs and this is the first reply we gave you. With the portfolio items you cannot control the URL since in WordPress Post Types are always lined to the final destination page (for example is the same of a blog post), so we suggest you to use a Media Gallery (our showcase example) so you can link some items to the final portfolio page and other to external links (since in the Media Gallery you can set custom links). Let us know if this make sense and thank you for interest again!
