Hmmm.. You are right about that, do you have any smooth scroll or some other plugin installed that might be causing this? Have you tried disabling the 3rd party plugins?
I will have to take a look at your website setup honestly to provide a very clear response since if there is no anchor set there is no way it should scroll down on its own there.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

I would like to report a bug. If you use the agency theme there is no way to put in the tagline text unless you type “tagline” in the search and the box appears. The setting do not work for styling.

I can assure you there is no such bug with our theme, are you talking about the header tagline section or our tagline short code? I can use both just fine on my end without any issues at all.

Hi. I understand your explanation is for the Dashboard in Wordpress and I do not mean that. I mean the notifications that are sent through Envato. I used to get email updates and not now. Best regards.

We actually do not control Envato and the update notifications are not sent by them but us if you have subscribed to our Newsletters here : https://theme-fusion.com/support/avada-community/
However the update emails are not sent for every single update specially for minor versions so its not a good idea to depend on the newsletters to wait for update, you should always check the WP dashboard area for available updates of themes or plugins.

I’ve checking new page samples on your site and very much excited some of home page samples, however, I have no idea how some of those pages are built. I can see how the demo pages are built after install decoupages, but I can not really find the same payout such as home Magazine styles on your site.

Yes I understand about importing the demos, but I wanted to see if there are any place or way that I could see those sample pages’s backend you have on Avada page. For instance, this page under home: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/home-magazine-style-1/I really would like to know how this page is made and seems like there are no demo that contain similar page layout.
Before 5.0 came in, I could see if I install full classic demo to my WP site and go each page backend to see how the pages are made, but since Im not able to do, I do not have idea how.if I could see the backend to teach myself how to build the good looking site.
It would be great if you could guide me to the right direction.

We have support but don’t think this question needs a Ticket. First of all, when we do get support it’s really top notch, Awesome and prompt. What more could you ask for from a company? OK, so for several years a lot of threads point to files in /avada/framework… it’ appears this folder does not exist anymore so where are we to look for the php file affected by workarounds that may still work on those files?
Case in point. In Sevenspark/Ubermenu they talk about putting /framework/headers/header-menu.php in so we can insert new menu in top menu area.
Ok so probably our misunderstanding. We are to inject code only into child theme functions? Is that correct? Thanks!

Yes, that is correct as all the custom code should always go inside the child theme, in this case when a new update comes in your code is not over written with the theme default code, you can read more about our child theme here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/avada-child-theme/

Having had this theme for a while and not used it, I started fresh and installed. I have an issue with the required plugins, most install but some just hang for ages suck as woocommerce, the events calendar and slider revolution. I tried to install woocommerce separately via wordpress but it says update failed – I don’t have it installed. I get this sort of issue: Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/the-events-calendar.4.3.2.zip… Then nothing happens.
I just tried again and managed to install woocommerce via wordpress but not the events camendar or slider revolution
Ignore this, they are all installed now. Didn’t install for the past hour or so. Very strange.

I am not entirely sure about your query since its not very clearly stated however if you are looking to assign a background video you can use our full width container that is also called (container) only in our new fusion builder shipped with 5.0+ version of Avada.

I am not certainly sure about your query here, however the demo URL you provide can easily be imported on our parent as well as child theme without any issues, after the import you can edit the demo as per your own requirement too without any customization and all you need to do is edit our shortcode using our Fusion Builder.

Hi I’m trying to add Random order in a clients shop page and have added the recommended code from https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/custom-sorting-options-ascdesc/ This is the shop page http://www.indigo-lizard.com/crystal-jewelry/ but as you can see the Random order option is not available in the drop down nor is it displaying randomly each time the page is refreshed. I have saved the order to Random in the WooCommerce settings, but it reverts to Default Order in the front end. Is this an Avada design conflict perhaps? Thanks

Hi Ammar I appreciate the speedy response although these plugins are for manual ordering in the backend. This is not what I asked about. When a user visits the shop page on the front end I would like “Random” as an option in the drop down as per the WooCommerce plugin code snippet recommends to add. Please note prior to Avada 5 update products were displaying in random order each time the page was refreshed when it was set to Popularity. Are there any other plugins you can recommend that are compatible with Avada that can achieve what I’m after?

My apologies, i thought you wanted to re-order the products, regarding that code you mentioned we have never tried it on our end so can’t be sure about it however you said it used to work in 4.0 so can you please do open a new ticket and we will look into that precisely. we have never personally tried any such plugin so cant give a solid recommendation here.

HI, i own some avada license from a long time. Now i would like to test all new function of avada 5, but to get demo data i need to enter registration code on my test evironement. You can simply create a new token as per our new registration system and then use that token on your test environment, it should register just fine and you should be able to install the new demos on new test environment.

Hi guys! With the 5.0 update/conversion, all my posts with a photo+caption inside have added this piece of code:

Also, at the end of post:

These pieces of codes are not visible by site users. If you will do a Google search with the first code, you will see other Avada sites with same issue (at some is visible, at some not).
I repeat, these codes appear as follows:
-first before [caption] only in posts that have photo with caption;
-the second at the end of posts that have photo with caption.

The shortcodes are from the new builder syntax actually however if they are not being rendered it means either the conversion process didn’t run properly or you didn’t update and activated your FC and FB plugin.
Please make sure you are on latest version of theme that is 5.0.3 along with the latest version of FC and FB both that should be 1.0.3 and 3.0.3 respectively.
However if the issue persist, please do open a new ticket and our support team will gladly take a look at this for you.

I have them all updated. Is there any problem if I re-run the conversion? When I did it, I got errors (conversion didn’t went through the end), until I deactivated all plugins. When I deactivated the plugins it went completely.

Yes, if the conversion does not run completely its definitely not going to convert the shortcodes, however that should never happen unless you have a 3rd party plugin conflict or some other server related issue.

To be honest, I don’t want to renew my support again…
I re-run the conversion but same problem – the codes are still there. I am hosted on Dreamhost VPS.
I understand, this is all you can do here, I will try to live with those codes (I have them in 126 posts, I checked with Search Regex plugin) since they are not rendered.
One other think I don’t like is that now Layer Slider plugin uses WP Panel to tell me that I don’t have the latest version installed.

I’m in search of information about how to modify space between widgets. Before the update, I had some custom CSS that I found on your support firm, but it seems like does not work anymore and need similar CSS or some sort to control the space. The custom CSS should still work for you actually, however if you have updated to the latest version 5.0.3 of Avada we had added some more CSS classes to columns so you might need to add them again.

Hi Ammar, Thank you very much for your reply and the link. Yes indeed I am using 5.0.3 now and the custom CSS from previous does not seems to work even though it is inserted via theme option custom css area as the previous versions.
Also Portfolio are not showing at at all. it only goes to 404 page.
It seems like lots of tweaks I have to do on my site….

Please do open a ticket and we will take a closer look at your setup in this case, there should never be that much of a change since no classes were removed but only more were added specifically to columns, if you do open a ticket we can take a closer look at them, also the portfolio’s should be all good with no issues, please double check your permalink settings and save them once again from Settings > permalinks tab.

Thank you very much for your reply to my post. For the Portfolio issue, re-saving Permalinks solved the issue. Thank you very much for that info. I’ve never had to do the on previous version, so I guess I was lucky until the previous versions. For the widget custom CSS, it is a bit over my head about modifying CSS with the link provided on your original reply. so I may have to submit a ticket for the support.
