The Layerslider is NOT loading the first time the site loads. It only appears when the site is refreshed. I promised the client a site that this theme/slider was supposed to provide and now I am stuck. Please help!!

“What version and which part of LayerSlider is included to your theme is completely up to your theme author, we do not have any control over it. Themes that include our plugin are independent from us and integrate LayerSlider to their work as they see fit.
We have checked your site and the issue is caused by a JS error in your theme files: ...wp-content/themes/bridge/js/default.min.js?ver=4.7
Several of our customers had also faced this issue with the Bridge theme. The theme authors are already aware of this problem but as we know they did not take any action so far.”
I do not feel I should have to pay for support when the theme and plugins you provide should work together!!! It is not something I am doing wrong and it IS a problem that others are having! Thanks for making right on this, guys!

We are currently working on fixing this issue, so we will release new update once we integrate fix for this. In the meanwhile, we could recommend to remove testimonials section from the page where you’ve inserted Layer Slider element, too.

I’m using a Blog Chequered model, the blog entries are displayed on a page according to a specific category and I have a fixed left menu.
However, I’d like all blog entries to be displayed in the available space on the screen to avoid scrolling down. Any help with that ?

Hi.
There are issues with .current-page-ancestor not going to the right page menu. My menu only has parent pages in them, and I do expect that when visiting subpages of the parent, then those style stays active. The issue is, when I go to another parent page, the code above does not go to the right parent and stays with the previous one, but after refresh, it goes to the right parent menu.
Is there any fix to this? Thanks.

In the text block background has dark colour and the text is white. Difficult to edit white text on white background. This part is on home page and frequently need to be edited. So is there a possibility to change the colour of text block editor background colour from white to light gray colour?

Hey guys, something weird is happening with all of my Bridge sites. The parallax pages when scrolling upwards have completely transparent backgrounds. Something is evidently not in sync with the theme and wp perhaps? Any answers on how to resolve?

can I set a portfolio filter category so it shows only selected categories names ?
I know there’s an option of ” Category Slug” that allows showing only contents of those selected category slugs but the filter at the top of portfolio still shows all the names of all the categories (even those which aren’t selected in category slug )

Category Slug filed can accept only one slug. Knowing this, you can organize categories as subcategories of one main category, and then you can set category slug for the parent category and all sub categories will be displayed in the filter. Image with text over already have hover overlay which contain text, ant there is no option for linking images with this element, but you can use image hover element instead, and you can set a link for each image, and hover image can be designed to contain some text which will mimic image with text over behavior.

You won’t find a widget for this, but you can add single image element with custom link on some testing page, and then from text editing mode copy raw shortcode from the page http://screencast.com/t/oLxMZktg and paste the code inside desired widget area text widget. Text widget can render shortcode, and image will be displayed.

Just curious you mention you can put a full screen / horizontal instagram widget in the “content bottom” section – I have done this but nothing appears. What do I have to set the columns to so it shows up at the bottom of my website? THANKS!

Unfortunately, there must be some misunderstanding regarding this, because flicker code can be placed within content bottom area, and Instagram widget plugin is available as a widget and you can only place it within widget areas. Also when placed like that, you can show it only on some pages and be hidden on others with custom css code. If you want to achieve this this hiding / showing, please contact our support at https://qode.ticksy.com and they will provide you with necessary code.
