I’m having issues with showing the “Read More” Box in my blog posts. If I disable “Page Creation” and delete featured image, the “Read More” box shows properly on the main Blog Page. But I’d like to keep featured image in my blog posts.
However when I keep featured image, the main blog page shows 2 images image ( main post image + featured image).
I’m wondering if it’s possible to disable Featured image in main blog page so I only see 1 image and the “Read More” box also shows up. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Editing text
i cannot find the way to edit the text in the module text block or in the diverse special tilte style modules. I want to change the size and the colour and the font.
Is there a way?

Hi Rene,
If you are using the new page builder, then you can find options to change the color and font sizes directly in the editor. You can also choose between various heading tags, whose fonts can be set in Typography settings section of the Options panel. You can find similar options in in editor of the old builder as well. Please refer screenshots attached.

Hi Swami ‘that is really much better, thank you for that. The only thing now is that my page is no longer full widht. The part with the master slider is but below that the page has a border on both sides.

Could you share the link to your page which isn’t full width ? By the way, kindly edit the ROW enclosing your content in the page builder and turn on the FULL WIDTH ROW if you want your content to occupy the entire width.

thx for the great theme, I love it! One question: how can i get rid of that little HOME Button on my front page. Its that little circle on the very right side in the middle. It doesnt do anything when I click on it and my client finds it annoying.
Do you think its from the Slider revolution plugin or in your theme?:-)

Kindly edit your home and in the Other Layout Settings panel at the bottom of the edit screen, it looks like you have selected the Single / One Page version setting. Uncheck it and the navigation dot on the right side should go away.

You can add a caption to each slide ( edit the image in the media library and enter you caption in the DESCRIPTION field ). You can use an html tag to create a link inside this caption. Otherwise there isn’t an option to link a singular slide.

The update has already been submitted to Themeforest. But all major updates are reviewed by them before being approved, which could take anywhere between 48 hrs and 5 days. So we are as eager and excited for the update to go live as you are.

In the new version of OSHINE, will TATSU replace content builder or will there be an option to use either?
Hi,
TATSU will replace the existing page builder. We will be including a converter to convert the existing pages / posts built using the BE Page Builder to a format that will be recognized by Tatsu. You cannot use both in tandem as that will cause compatibility issues.

Is there any documentation on TATSU? I cannot figure out how to make a photo gallery. For that matter, I cannot figure out how to create columns the way I could with Page Builder. I cannot figure out how to do anything. I watched the demo video but my installation does not behave with the same functionality. Where can I find documentation on the 5.0 version of OSHINE?
After hours of trial and error I finally figured out how to create a gallery. I am working from a fresh install of both Wordpress and the latest 5.0.1 download version of the theme. I added 10 photos, then I went save and I the error message, “UNABLE TO SAVE!”
I’ve read all of the other comments from others about this same issue and the resolution has been to upgrade to the latest theme and upgrade the plugins. I just downloaded the latest minutes ago. So I’m guessing there is a different issue on my end. Help me please?

I just investigated a few sites that complained about the same issue. At the end it was the browsers cache that was causing the problem. Your browser has probably cached the javascript files of the older version of Tatsu. So kindly clear your browser cache and try again and if the issue persists, please share your wordpress admin url, ID and password to help@brandexponents.com to investigate further.

Hi i am having problems with the blog ang pagebuilder. I want the blog to look like this with buttons and text http://oshine.wpengine.com/v23/blog/ but the buttons only appear when i activate builder, but when i activate builder it removes the content. It also removes the content from inside the post. So my question is how can have both things like shown in your v23 template

Hi. Is it possible to display the text “normally” in the page builder”? Depending on the text-size I choose in the shortcode-options, the text appears very big in the page builder-view. This is confusing and looks very unprofessional to my customer.

Hi,
1. Kindly edit the image in the media library and your text to the DESCRIPTION field. This is the text that will be shown along with the image in the lightbox.
2. Unfortunately there aren’t options to change the arrow colors of the lightbox.
3. In the case of ‘lightbox gallery’ gallery images pop up in the same window as your portfolio grid and there does not have an individual page attached to it, which is you why you cannot access it directly via a permalink.
4. Unfortunately there isn’t an option for this.
5. Kindly go to SETTINGS -> READING and set your your FRONT PAGE ( Home page ) from the drop down list of all pages.

2. If you set the Lightbox style as “Magnific Popup” then you can change the color of the arrows using the following css

We are running into an issue where the Oshine Portfolio Centered Slider is jumpy and sticks sometimes (won’t slide) when finger swiping on our iPhones. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to resolve this?

Hello, Just purchased your brilliant theme. I am having an issue, however . In the Import Demo Data section: 1. The drop down menu does not have a “Primary Content” option available. It just begins with v1. 2. I tried installing v17 personally and I am getting a fatal error message:

By the way, with regard to the missing Primary Content setting, I believe you are referring to an older documentation. Primary Content is no longer required as it has been built into to each of the demos, saving you one step.

I am having an issue with the ABOUT page… seems there is an issue with the helpers.php file. As an error message appears at the top of the page. I downloaded the theme files again and replaced the helpers.php file. - It just so happened that this issue began the day before my “support” expired. And I received no response when I emailed for help. Now, I am asked to pay more $ to renew the support. - the problem is that all of the template files also have this issue with the error message. I would appreciate help on this considering I reached out before my expiration and never heard back.

Google Maps recently changed their API where by a API key is required for accessing maps in all domains registered after 22nd June 2016. We have already released an update to the theme ( version 4.4.2 ), where by there is an setting in the GLOBAL SITE LAYOUT SETTINGS section of the Options Panel to enter your Google Maps API key. Kindly ensure that you add any shortcode generated by the plugin using the PLUGIN SHORTCODE module available in the Page Builder. Unfortunately, issues and compatibility with 3rd party plugins do not fall within the scope of our support and there isn’t much that i can do if the plugin is fundamentally not compatible with the theme. However, email your URL and admin details so I can see if there is a straight forward fix that I can offer.
