I guess that’s kind of similar, was hoping for a sideways-scrollable section that would be able to house both landscape and portrait images. Also, I can’t seem to both have an overflow and have my navigation on. Could this be because I’m on the Child Theme?
Hi, no this is not a feature of Uncode, we are one of the most flexible themes but in the limits of what we advertise in our demos (in fact we don’t show this option in all 250+ pages of our demo). First I have to say I absolutely love this theme. But since the last update I have a problem with the Visual composer. It’s not longer possible to copy elements. There still is the “duplicate” button, but if I want to copy a single element to another page, it’s not longer possible… Why did you remove the copy/ paste buttons on the VC elements? Now, creating new pages takes a lot more time.

We confirm this plugin works like a charm also in latest version (here a quick video https://undsgn.d.pr/ME1spT), are you sure it’s not an issue caused by some new plugins? At least if you are 100% sure you have this error by the last update we can only think of some files not correctly updated.
Hi, i’m having trouble on our site with photos showing up on backgrounds all of a sudden. contempowebstudios.com – our portfolio is doing the same as well. Is it a theme issue or VC issue? or being on an old version issue?

No there are not known issue with backgrounds otherwise here you should find about 35.000+ similar comments or none of the sites of the showcase should have backgrounds (https://undsgn.com/uncode/showcase/), at the same a theme doesn’t broke itself without any actions. Have you installed some plugins or your host has made changes or maintenance? From here we just see that your site stay lot of time to load and when we try to open an image directly on the browser it never loads (this suggest some server issue): https://undsgn.d.pr/I5co7y

Hi Treyh23! No it’s the first time we see this and as told I think something changed in the host (it’s not possible a theme changes how to process codes on runtime), have you verified these problematic images file permissions?
Guys in your documentation you mention that there is an option to choose secondary menu skin in Customise -> Menu … But in actual theme this option is actually not available! I know that my support has expired but looks like this is a bug or mistake on your side so maybe you could fix it?
Hi! This is correct, the Secondary Menu Skin is available as independent design option when you use an Horizontal Menu, so for example select the Right menu and this option will be available in the Customize.

We don’t offer a proprietary option for this (Uncode is a multiuse WordPress theme, this is really specific), but I’m pretty sure you don’t have problems to use these plugins (I saw other users but don’t know the plugin name), in case we’ll offer a refund, don’t worry!
Was very happy with the theme and its functionality and generally not a bad word about it, before i had to update. However on updating the theme have came across issues with woo commerce in particular the related products disappearing, the “choose a colour” dropdown and every product claiming to be out of stock on the front end but appearing “in stock” on the back end.
I have support and it has taken 1 week with several unhelpful responses and still no further forward. A disappointing experience especially as support costs a premium after 6months. I have asked for it to be escalated twice now as the client is understandably frustrated at the delay. Can you advise how to escalate on your support center? 1 week and no reasonable trouble shooting advice is not acceptable.

We uses the Plugins https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/ and https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/easy-table-of-contents/ but they don’t work on single post sites, if they are build with the visual composer. Do you have any idea, how we can fix this?

Hi, we have upgraded the theme, from version 1.6.4 to 1.7.6.1 but there are many elements of the web that have changed, fonts, colors, buttons styles, etc. Also the new version does not allow access to the page for to export the old theme options and old settings options. Have you deleted this option? How can we upgrade the version and retrieve the styles we had? Thank you very much

Hi kemalkautsar! Yes, it will be compatible, once the WordPress 5 beta version is released, we’ll make theme Gutenberg-compatible. So you can start building your site right away, 5.0 update won’t affect your content, this will be a new feature of WP not something that will broke existing page builders.

Can anyone help me with an issue I am having with media in blog posts on mobile. Embedded Youtube videos look like total trash.. they go about 80px wide and 1000px tall. It looks really bad, esp when 80% of people are visiting on mobile! Also images are so small, they dont go to the edge of the mobile screen. In fact i cant get my media to go full size on my desktop site either. I’ve altered my wordpress media options and i select full size (2000px x 1500px, but on desktop they are limited to 840px wide and mobil they only fill half the screen.
I’d love Uncodes help as I’m a buyer of a few of their licences and have never really bothered them with support, but it’d be great to hear from anyone in the community.

Unfortunately i can’t use youre support. I’ve got 3 licenses for your theme, but these days your support is time limited… instead of query limited.
I would open a ticket.. but it will not let me sign in because my support is over.
Ok i cant login and i cant get to the documentation of this theme to see how im supposed to properly post a youtube video and insert images. After 9 years of blogging i didn’t think it was possible to do this wrong.. but im told im doing it wrong. Please send or link me to your themes documentation as i can not access it and it does not come with the downloaded files.

Have you checked the documentation I have sent you? It seems you are using the iframe from YouTube and not the oEmbed method, please use the oEmbed method and insert the video in the Page Media, this is an example with Vimeo (but it’s the same): https://undsgn.com/uncode/real-time-design-tools/
Can anyone help with some steps for uninstalling the theme so that database tables are removed too? I know I can just delete the folder via FTP but there are a lot of ‘uncode’ references in the db which I’d like to clear up – is that possible?
Hi, maybe I don’t get you but you can clean an installation by using some free plugin like WordPress Reset or WP Reset, these plugin reset your database.
Not quite what I meant. I’ve moved to another theme on a site that previously used uncode. I can delete the theme files via FTP but there are a lot of references to uncode in the database which I’d like to clear up.

Hi Refica! This code is part of the OWL Carousel plugin but in Uncode we bypass these functions with proprietary functions, the code is used by the basic plugin for create a carousel of video but never invoked in Uncode: https://owlcarousel2.github.io/OwlCarousel2/demos/video.html
Anyway we’ll remove/modify this part in next update.
