Please make sure you reinstall the theme plugins. Disable and delete any theme plugins and install them again from the latest theme package. Also please make sure you clear all cache. Let us know how it goes.

Hi. I am glad that there are regular updates to the theme, but what i am NOT glad about is that sometimes the updates break the site. For example the latest update has broken the newsletter plugin. My site was down since about 8 hours now as i was not aware that the new update is not compatible with the said plugin. Please don’t do like this, don’t give half baked updates. I know its too much work from your side but it really affects our websites too. Please try to understand this great issue as this has happened way too many times in the past too. Thank you

Sorry but we cannot recreate this issue on our end. Please try to reinstall the plugin from the main theme package you download from envato. In most cases it could be a caching issue. All caching must be cleared after every update including a hosting side cache as well as cdn server. Also, all of the theme plugins will have to be reinstalled as mentioned in the the update guide. We tested the update carefully and such a bug will not have gotten past our testing.

Ok. This is what happened. I updated the theme from inside wordpress using the update function. It got updated. But the same very moment the site broke. All sort of error codes started appearing (i failed to take a screenshot) and also the admin panel wasnt opening. After coming to know about this, after several hours, i had to login to ftp and delete the plugin newspaper newsletter and then only the site started opening. Including wp admin. Even the site wasnt opening through the iphone wordpress app and through wordpress.com login too. After deletion of the said plugin all started to work again

It depends on where you added that custom code. If it;s added in the theme panel, you have nothing to worry about. If you edited the php files, then the customization will be lost as updating means replacing the old theme files with the new ones.

The margins of the theme were not changed in the new theme version. If you update from a very old version, you will see a margin change, yes, but this was done quite a few updates ago where images on the mobile devices also received the margin and did not position full width anymore. There was no other change regarding the margins.

I got a notification from Themeforest that an update was available to the 8.7 release in February but I don’t see anything in the change log about a new version.

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

If you get a 500 error, please check your server configuration. It is not a theme issue. It is a server config issue that affects the theme.
