Hi,

It seems that when the template is set to default and it IS NOT the home page then visual composer row widths do not work. I can only get rows that are the width of a container.

I should be able to overflow the row for full width – per usual.

Please advise.

Can you please try once by deactivating all the third party plugins on your site because I think it may be because of any third party plugin confliction as I have tested the latest theme and do not find this issue hope you will also not find the issue and then activate all the third party plugins again one by one and check which one is creating an issue for your site, otherwise contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check it for you.

Hello, I saw the Porto Theme is GDPR Ready! in Version 4.4.3.1. – What does that mean in detail? Any Documentation about it?

the most basic “GDPR Ready” to me would mean: - Being able to post a cookie notice and letting the visitor decide to switch off all cookies and all tracking with a click of a button. The site must still be usable. - A checkbox at the end of all forms to agree that the data will be stored and processed like “By using this form you agree with the storage and handling of your data by this website.” - A page with a “standard” privacy Policy - HTTPS SSL encryption (but thats not a theme thing) ...

It’s important to note that it is the responsibility of every company or website owner to prepare their sites for GDPR compliance. It is not the duty of any framework used to create and manage a website’s compliance, solely. In almost all cases a lot of manual fine tuning will be needed. Generally speaking, that means there is no use in asking “Is WordPress GDPR compliant?” or “Is Porto GDPR compliant?”. For example, Porto itself will never be violating the GDPR criteria as it does not collect any data. It is a powerful tool to create websites, and the end users website is what will collect data and the data collected will be different for every use case.

Does that mean that WordPress and Porto users are left alone in their fight for compliance? No, not at all!

And if you want to make your site more compaitable with GDPR then use any third party plugin which will help you in achieving your needs.

Hi there, I updated the theme from an older version, now it looks and works just about ok after hours of issues. The only thing that remains is that the skin style is not applied to every page. When I click customise, I can see the skin style applied, but when I click save or apply it does not save to the live site. The site remains to have the blue menu etc Is there any fix for this? any ideas what it could be?

It seems the permission issue. Your server did not give permission to add/save the settings of the Theme Options. Basically, when you saved the theme options then it’s created the skin_1.css file inside the CSS folder, because of permission the theme is not able to create this file on your site. Please contact your hosting provider to change the permission to 777 or 755 of the CSS folder and all files.

OR

It must be the cache issue at your end so please check your site after removing the server, site and browser cache. The best practice is to turn off all the cache from the site and server while you are in the development process.

Hi, how do I get a search box above the Porto sidebar menu? https://www.thertcdirectory.com/ – I don’t like the Wordpress sidebar menu but I haven’t found a way to have Portos side menu with a search box feature above it and we don’t want a search box in the header.

Sorry to say that but it is not possible to have search box above the sidebar menu using the theme options you have to use any third party plugin for that or it will only possible with the help of customization.

The add cart link always used to link to an affiliate. Now the link doesn’t work anymore on the product page. On the catalogus page it still works correct. But on the product page it looks like the links is linking to another page and it’s not a normal link anymore: for example https://goo.gl/559SV8 I can’t find where I can change this…

I think it is your any 3rd party plugin confliction issue. Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins from your site and activate the theme required plugins then check the site, I hope you will not find any issue.

OR please try the other way as well, please go to Settings >> Permalink >> use the Post Name settings and save the permalink settings. I hope your issue will be solved.

There is no option in the theme to change the font size for the description on the single product page. You should use the custom CSS for this purpose. Please use the below given custom CSS and paste it to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS section:

CSS for Short Description text:
.product-summary-wrap .description p { font-size: 20px !important; }

CSS for Description Tab text:
.single-product div#tab-description p { font-size: 20px !important; }

Hi, just purchased and installed the Porto theme. One problem can you explain why certain items do not load properly. I followed the setup wizard and imported shop 2. Some items don’t look right, maybe I did something wrong:

You should translate the Woocommerce language files into your language hen you will be able to solve the 1st and 2nd issue.

Hi, Can you help me? Previously, me install this theme in my another website to test Porto Theme and activated the theme in my another website in url http://tactic.id. After that me deactive license in http://tactic.id then install and reactive license in my another website in url https://rhinostore.co.id. But after import anything demo, i got a problem. main menu is so mess and can’t chane with anything model.

First of nice theme! But i have a little problem, the Mobile Menu, whatever i do i cannot change te colors with the Theme Options/Skin/Mobile Menu… it just doesnt do anything.. to be honest it changed 1 time, because i tried before changing the colors didn’t do anything at the spot then a few hours later it was different but whatever i do now to put it back not responsive at all.

I deleted every cache there is in the theme but also in the browsers nothing works. Could u have a check please? Thank u!

Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.

OR

This issue mostly occurs when your server/site not able to connect with the registration server because of any kind/sort of restriction from your hosting provider on your account so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kind of restriction from your site and then check hope you will not find an issue if yes then please contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check it for you.

Sorry to say that but there is no option in the theme for enable ajax loading while clicking add to cart on the single product page but I have already forwarded this to our development department and soon you will find an option of it in the next coming updates of the theme so until that please be patience.

We are always recommended to update the theme manually because may of the times auto update removes/overrides the changes and Customization of the Customers sites.

There is no need to update the child theme and you have to update the theme manually by following the steps given below hope you will not find an issue.

First of all please take the complete backup of your site/theme current version and after that please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest theme minimum requirements as given in the theme documentation here: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/

Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:

1. Take the complete backup of your current site.(If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanelwp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything.(If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

Your theme will be updated easily.

It is clearly written onto your providing screenshot that “Sorry, this product is unavailable, please choose a different combination” right, it means that the variation you are looking for in out of stock and unavailable and you have to select any other variation or you can set that product variation to In Stock by editing the particular product.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Please edit the homepage you will find Porto One Page Category WP Bakery Element set there, And the left sticky menu coming from it. Means it will generate the Menu items accordingly to the categories.

Like If you want to change the name or Icon from the left sticky menu you have to go to Product >> Categories and edit the particular Category you will find the Icon and name of the Category so you have to change the name of the category and icon from there and save changes then the menu icon and name will also change please see this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/kl2s5g
