The adaptive image function needs some calculations, otherwise it couldn’t work: it has to check what is the resolution of the monitor, if the necessary image already exists and, in case, it has to create it. Even if the image has been already created and also cached by the browser, adaptive image function has check the resolution of the monitor and if there is a right image for that resolution: the time that this operation requires varies depending on the power of the machine, the network etc. You can see what I mean by looking at the network tab: https://undsgn.d.pr/nnSUwS Images take 0 seconds to load, the AJAX function is the responsible of the delay.

Adaptive images allow you to load the page faster, and, after the page is loaded, they load the bigger images, so it is normal a small gap between the “first” loading and the “second”. The duration of this gap depends, as I said, on the power of your machine, the network etc.

Hi sebastienfroger, we are sorry but you cannot combine the Adaptive Images with a lazy load plugin, this is a custom feature that will not work with plugins. Anyway it’s a good suggestion we can evaluate to implement natively.

Hi, I tried a3 lazy load and deactivate thumbnails lazyload and it seems to work. Content images, avatar and iframes are lazyloaded But a native implementation would be greater indeed !

Actually this not work but we’ll insert this feature in next updates, anyway consider that even if some devices offer this option, support is only for self-hosted videos.

If you need live feed you need to use some dedicated plugins, there are tons free on the WordPress repository, I have seen users use different plugins (the site you refer use this one: https://flothemes.com/flo-plugins/). Otherwise you can use a native feature of Uncode that is the Instagram oEmbed (that is not live feed), you just need to grab the URL of the image and insert in the Add Multimedia of the Media Gallery as other oEmbed and then use a Gallery Module:
