ok, thats not what im looking for, was looking to use the shop10 theme, but need the menu as it is on mobile view, so it slides out from the side, with the menu tab in the top bar. That options not available then?

Hello! I believe YITH is the default wishlist plugin with the theme, correct? We are having issues with getting the wishlist to work on our theme properly, so we are trying another 3rd party wishlist plugin (ignite woo) that may work and provide more options – but we are unable to get it to work (when we click their “add to list” button, it doesn’t do anything). We have disabled YITH plugin from the list. Is there anything else we’d need to do do turn wishlist ability OFF, in order to test this other plugin? OR, are we unable to use a different wishlist plugin with this theme? Wanted to check here before putting in a tix. Thanks so much!!

Sorry to say that but we have not tested any other wishlist plugin with the Theme yet so we are unable to suggest you anything on it, and there is no issue with the Yith WooCommerce Wishlist plugin, it is working perfectly fine, If you want to use any other plugin then please concern with the pluin Author as we do not provide our dedicated support for the third party plugins because this requires Customization, and if you want to use Yith WooCommerce wishlist plugin then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check it for you.

It’s because your server environment can not access to our server https://portotheme.com
Please try to ping our server and let us know if it works.
Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.
OR
The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme.

You have missed a lot of Theme updates in between your current running version and the latest version and a lot of design/features have been removed and added in those updated which is not possible to revert back without Customization.

I’m having trouble with using single images and adding them as a gallery with a container class. No trouble creating a gallery, but I want to have more than one gallery on a page and I don’t want them all grouped together. I have 3 galleries on this page and when you click next through the pictures it groups them all in one. I attempted to use the “container class” option under the Single Image / Porto Options menu but despite giving them different container class names (and naming giving the row that class name) it lumps them all together.
To be more clear I’m adding multiple single images and in the single image settings I’m choosing “link to large image” under “On action click”. Then under porto options I check Lightbox and show as image gallery, then assign it to a container class.

First of all, the Single Image element is the WP Bakery element and it has its default functionality, there is no influence on this element from Theme.
And if you check Lightbox and show as image gallery from Porto Options, It will also no influence on the single image element, because both are different elements.
So, Inspite of using this trick, simply use Image Galery WP Bakery element and set it as per your requirements multiple times on a page, it will work for you.
For me this doesn’t work for many reasons. First their gallery only uses Pretty Photo, which isn’t that good vs Porto’s lightbox implementation, which is a million times better. Also with the gallery shortcode you can’t control how many images are in a row and how they’re laid out. It just throws them in a grid and they layout how they layout. I understand the single image is a WPBakery element, but the Porto Options tab is a Porto thing. What is the container class field for? In a future release if you could have a way to identify images of a like group to include in a gallery that would be amazing.

Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

If you check your site console you will see a lot of JS errors coming from your server and third party plugins and that is the main reason of the issue, for resolving those issues, please first try with deactivating all the third-party plugins, hope the issue will solve and then again you have to activate all the third-party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site, if the issue will still not solve then contact your hosting provider for these issues.

So half a year ago I bought a site which included a license to Porto theme. It’s been the same layout ever since so I decided to try out a new design: shop 26. I am having one problem that I just can’t seem to solve: the dropdown menu is not work. When I hover over the menu it doesn’t show the subcategories. In tablet/mobile mode it does work and they do show but not desktop mode.

I think Porto is an excellent theme and has decent support. We’ve been using it since 2016. The reason I am commenting is that is that with upgrades, some things that previously were visually appealing end up looking wonky and require CSS fixes. It makes me dread doing upgrades because I never know what’s going to be affected. Can you tell me why this happens?

This mostly happens because of the cache, always try to take the complete backup of your site before updating the Theme and always check the changelog of the Theme update before updating the Theme.

I clear the theme cache, I don’t use a child theme and I always use the steps you have outlined. I haven’t reviewed the log, something I will start doing before I upgrade.
An example of what happened last time was that all the blog post format changed. The text wrapping around the title got wonk and the margins disappeared.
Recently I added a table to a blog post and I had to add some margins to keep it on the page. This didn’t happen two years ago.
I have an idea, however, because we use some WPBakery elements that you have depreciated. I think I’ll reach out to support with my area of concerns before I upgrade to try to prevent major issues.

Okay, so I think I’ve found what might be the cause and it was from a WPBakery upgrade. I’m going to re-open the ticket to address this.
Margins applied in previous WPBakery Page Builder versions was not using the best possible method. Hence starting from WPBakery Page Builder 4.9 we have implemented best possible manner for margins so that there will be no such issue in future releases.
It is necessary to align your layout with new margins manually or if your layout was not affected leave as it is. New margin mechanism allows working with section type layouts easier and faster.
