If you check your site console you will see a lot of JS errors coming from your server and third party plugins and that is the main reason of the issue, for resolving those issues, please first try with deactivating all the third-party plugins, hope the issue will solve and then again you have to activate all the third-party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site, if the issue will still not solve then contact your hosting provider for these issues.
And for Icons issue, please once try with the below-given plugin, please Install and Activate this plugin and check your site after removing the browser cache.

So half a year ago I bought a site which included a license to Porto theme. It’s been the same layout ever since so I decided to try out a new design: shop 26. I am having one problem that I just can’t seem to solve: the dropdown menu is not work. When I hover over the menu it doesn’t show the subcategories. In tablet/mobile mode it does work and they do show but not desktop mode.

I think Porto is an excellent theme and has decent support. We’ve been using it since 2016. The reason I am commenting is that is that with upgrades, some things that previously were visually appealing end up looking wonky and require CSS fixes. It makes me dread doing upgrades because I never know what’s going to be affected. Can you tell me why this happens?

This mostly happens because of the cache, always try to take the complete backup of your site before updating the Theme and always check the changelog of the Theme update before updating the Theme.

Some times it happens because of the Custom Code you added in Theme Options or in Child Theme.

I clear the theme cache, I don’t use a child theme and I always use the steps you have outlined. I haven’t reviewed the log, something I will start doing before I upgrade.
An example of what happened last time was that all the blog post format changed. The text wrapping around the title got wonk and the margins disappeared.
Recently I added a table to a blog post and I had to add some margins to keep it on the page. This didn’t happen two years ago.
I have an idea, however, because we use some WPBakery elements that you have depreciated. I think I’ll reach out to support with my area of concerns before I upgrade to try to prevent major issues.

Okay, so I think I’ve found what might be the cause and it was from a WPBakery upgrade. I’m going to re-open the ticket to address this.
Margins applied in previous WPBakery Page Builder versions was not using the best possible method. Hence starting from WPBakery Page Builder 4.9 we have implemented best possible manner for margins so that there will be no such issue in future releases.
It is necessary to align your layout with new margins manually or if your layout was not affected leave as it is. New margin mechanism allows working with section type layouts easier and faster.

There is the something in the latest theme version (5.1.0) that is breaking the single product page layout image slider area. What would be causing this error? It’s not plugin related as i’ve turned them all off, same error.

This happens to sites when you have not properly updated the Theme, or some files may be corrupted while updating the Theme or some Custom code like JavaScript or JQuery added in Theme files or Theme option or maybe server/site has old version of the JQuery running, So you have to check with all aspects, but sound’s good!!! that your issue is resolved. And sorry to say that but the user/member can not edit this, This requires Customization or you can use any third-party plugin for it.

Hi, we have an empty header on product search output pages showing up. We use the header builder to create the header but there is no menu, top content or search bar shown as is shown on all other pages. What can we do to include the header created in the header builder to show on the product search results page? we noticed the archive.php is calling for get_header (‘shop’) but this is not outputting the header as created in the header builder.

Search Result Page is actually an Archive Page and its layout works based on the Content Type of Search you have selected from Theme Options. So, If you want to Customize that page you have to Customize the Theme Core files under wp-content/themes/porto/search.php and if your Custom Header is working fine on other pages but not on search result page then please contact your developer and ask your developer to Customize this properly for you or if you want our paid Customization services you can contact our Customization team as well.

I have been facing this problem with ssl and content mixer. i get this error “An image with an insecure url of “http://www.square-trends.com/wp-content/themes/porto/images/AjaxLoader.gif” was loaded via the javascript file: https://www.square-trends.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp on line 2. The insecure URL may not be directly contained in the script file and may exist elsewhere.” I checked you previous answer about similair problem but simple ssl doesnot seem to change anything. All ThemeForest products allow One license for each domain on which you will install the theme (multisite installation does not matter though).
So regardless of number of clients, license works with number of domains. So if you are building 10 websites, you need to purchase 10 regular licenses for that etc… These are license usage policy of ThemeForest (and we have no control on this), you may wish to confirm from Themeforest here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
There is no unlimited usage license and this is with all the Themes on ThemeForest.
