Can you please make sure by going into WP-Dashboard >> Setting >> General and make sure that site URL is set there as HTTPs if you are using the SLL certificate on your site, and if not then please change your site URL as HTTPs from HTTP there and save changes and then check your site after removing the browser cache.

Hi! In case this was already asked I’m sorry but I didn’t find the answer. The question is, I want to add an ecommerce section, with login as well, in a demo where the ecommerce is not present (i.e. Restaurant), is this possible or there’s any limitation with the demo selected?

No, There is no limitations. You can easily create the Login and Register Form Page with any Demo you will choose, you have to use WooCommerce plugin bundled with the Theme, Please read the below given article:

The Images settings of the products are coming from WooCommerce, Please read the below-given articles:

This is the default functionality of the WooCommerce new version as it does not provide the option to set height for the product image. it automatically resizes the image based on its width you set.

And some of the product layouts are default Theme layouts with the huge size of images, those will only be altered via Customization, You can change the default layout setting using WooCommerce setting.

Yes, It is always Open on Mobile you have to close it by tapping on any section on the Mobile screen except the menu, and this is because the One Page Demo menu works on the section IDs so it does not refresh the page it just takes you to the particular section on the same page right, and the menu closes when the page will refresh and in that case, the page is not refreshing so that is why it is no closing by itself. I hope this is all clear now.

I had imagined that was the reason but I would like to know if there is a way to close the menu after the choice because if it remains open it does not display the section and is not optimal from the point of view of the user experience. Thanks

Hello. I’m looking into your theme but I have a question. When I look at the demos, I notice I can’t scroll the carousels with the touchpad of my laptop, I have to click on the arrows. Is this something I can configure later on? or the theme doesn’t have that option?

Then it must have to work with touch pad as well, Please make sure that your touch pad screen size must not go above 1024px which is the standard Tablet size and also make sure that your touch pad has the latest version of the browser you are trying to accessing the site and check after removing the browser cache of your touch pad.

It was old version we will update it in the documentation and I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

Mini Cart Icon – found simple solution.

I figured this out today on latested Porto version: 5.3.2 where the theme options have never worked for me … I finally found they moved it from :before to :after in the CSS. I didn’t need to install anything like font awesome. Best if you use child theme style.css and edit that so future updates don’t overwrite your changes. I also have the number of items in cart showing better as we have 1000s of items:

Theme Options > Skin > Mini Cart > Icon Font Size = 40

Theme Options > Header > Mini Cart Type = ‘Simple’ (does not matter what I put in Mini Cart Icon – tried ‘fa-shopping-cart’ and many others)

Add to CSS: /wp-content/themes/porto-child/style.css

Then before using any other Icon, you first have to remove this Icon, and it has been made using Custom CSS, You have to comment out the Custom CSS from Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS as showing below:

And then you can use any Icon code from here or FontAwesome:

I appreciate your detailed reply – I should mention that I have been using Porto Theme for many years and I do not use the Theme Options Custom CSS – I use Porto Child theme and as such your instructions do not work for me. No problem, I’m happy with my posted solution above. Keep up the excellent work – your theme is 5 stars!

How can I remove the Date from Google Search Snippet on PAGES (hEntry Removal) ? On posts/articles it is ok, but on pages it really not necessary. Seems like its a Theme issue.
