Has anyone worked out how to create a contact form using CF7 that has 2 fields on one line on desktop, but goes too one field per line on mobile? My old theme which is rubbish does this automatically, but Uncode which is amazing does not.
Note: Already tried support. Not resolved. So hoping someone else has figured a way and is willing to share.

Loving the theme.
It’s not a native options but it’s just a matter of a single line of CSS, so I would like to check if some agents was not able to assist with this simple stuff.
Agent was helpful and gave me some CSS. But when I use the frontend editor and view on mobile, it messes up the display. I assume the frontend editor mobile view is exactly the same way it appears on mobile? My site is in maintenance mode atm, so havent actually checked from an actual phone as I’ve got used to going to frontend > change view.

Thanks but no luck. When I try to deactivate and then reactive the theme, it tells me This product is in use on another domain, expect the domain mentioned isn’t even one that I own any more

No, I’m sorry, there’s no way: iLightbox is widely used by Uncode, in many modules and scripts and it’s not something that you can simply switch off. Sorry.
Hi, I’ve purchased a number of licenses previously utilising the same hosting provider for each of the sites. However, my new client is using another hosting provider who does not allow allow_url_fopen ON, as detailed in the minimum server requirements. All other requirements are fine. Can you confirm if this will be an issue and what aspects of the theme functionality would be impacted during install and ongoing. I understand a lot of hosts, the one in question is not a budget provider, are not permitting allow_url_fopen ON on shared packages. The client has no need for a dedicated server, as is the case with many other clients. I’d appreciate your feedback before I make another purchase. Thank you
Hello and thank you for your interest. You will have issues with external media in particular (Instagram, Flickr etc.) and services like Amazon S3 that loads media from their servers, this is the first reason why we added that requirement. You won’t have issues with the basic features though: installation, registration, demo import.
Hi, many thanks for clarifying – I’ll manage expectations on that end of things. Can you clarify when this requirement came into play as it wasn’t noted previously and I haven’t yet had issues with Youtube on the existing sites that sit on shared hosting? I’d imagine the provider I’m currently using for client accounts doesn’t allow allow_url_fopen ON either for the same security reasons. Is it likely to be an issue there also or does YouTube embed function differently in this regard? Thanks again
In few words: when Uncode tries to manage images that comes from other servers and crop them, resize them etc. it needs allow_url_fopen. If you don’t need to manage images that comes from other servers I don’t think you’ll have issues. Oembed functions work fine and also video thumbs should be imported fine. The issue happens when images are displayed directly from other servers.

One question (I hope its okay to ask): Can I change the amount of blog posts howing on the same row on a category page? For first I had 4 posts in a row but somehow (update caused this? ) there are now 6 posts in a same row and the titles and featured images are too small (hard to read). Thank you!

by default WooCommerce native shortcodes are displayed as carousels. You should modify in a child theme the files uncode/woocommerce/loop/loop-start.php and uncode/woocommerce/loop/loop-end.php, but it requires good skills of course. Uncode, though, offers its own solution: you can use the “Posts” module: https://undsgn.d.pr/Q36UYs and display the products with the layout you prefer.

Did you also update the required plugins? Hello – we love the Uncode theme – it’s incredible! But please – a simple question and problem for you guys… Our uncode site’s mobile menu will not close when items are clicked. It is a one-page site. Menu works on main site, but will not close (stays open) after clicking on an item in the mobile menu. Our site: www.suncadiatownhomes.com.

Using CF7 with two fields per line is fine, but on mobile they’re too near each other and would be better suited to one field per row. Is there a way to achieve this?

How come when I copy partials/headers.php from the parent menu into the Child Theme, it doesn’t overwrite the headers.php in the parent theme?
Hi rvalenta! The menu is defined by the PHP class unheader() in uncode/partials/header.php which isn’t a template file. You only have to copy the entire class unheader(), paste it into your child theme (in the file functions.php for instance), edit it as you prefer and this new version will be executed instead of the original one. You will be able to add the changes you need to those new functions.

Loving the theme, but I do seem to have an issue. Whilst font looks great on desktop, on mobile it can be huge. Especially when when using H1/H2 font sizes. Is there a way to control font sizes on mobile easily?

no, sorry, Uncode has built with a particular layout that loads the most part of its JS script at the same moment when an element is seen by the browser and not when all the DOM is loaded, so we didn’t include a feature like that.
