Hi, I have a question about your theme, how can I use more than 10 brands on the brand-carousell using elementor?
Hello, @SCTEAM,
If you have brands images then use the Image Carousel element and set your brands as media for it and set that element as per your requirements as showing below:
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 23/06/2020. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.
Thanks for your understand.

I checked the Setup wizard but now it displays only the plugins that are not installed yet. hello guys, is it compatible with visual composer?
Hello, @wadmn1,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.
Yes, WP Bakery (Visual Composer) is the required plugin for using the Theme and it is already came with the Theme Package, so yes it is 100% compaitable with Porto WordPress Theme.

Hi Thank you.
I'm looking for theme for my new projects. Its e-commerce. I've check google pagespeed of porto demos, but they are showing just 15-30. Shops with side-menu has 15 points and "red" zone. Your theme has a lot of sales and good reviews, but may I ask you, are you going to change load of CSS and JS in near future for boost pagespeed ratings? Its necessary to get traffic from SEO.
Hello, @klondikex,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.
We are sorry that you faced some problems working with our theme. But our theme is one of the most optimized on the market. In general, our theme is already optimized and don’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.
First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and don’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your web site, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. If your site loads fast, you can safely ignore PageSpeed’s recommendations.
The traffic depends on a lot of different factors and not our theme only. The only argument from you was your website’s low score on Google Pagespeed. But it can’t be because of that if your real website speed is quite fast. We suggest you read an article from the WP Rocket team – one of the most experienced companies in terms of WordPress optimization.
https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/85-google-page-speed-grade-does-not-improve
Porto has optimized HTML, combined JS scripts, minified CSS, has style.css generator, conforms all the coding standards from WordPress (and it is checked and confirmed by Envato reviewers while uploading our theme to the market). We are always working on improving our theme’s speed and listen to all our customers’ reports. We release updates every 3-5 weeks so if any performance problems are reported they will be fixed asap.
Porto Comes with default Speed Optimization Wizard Option, you will find under Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard, So you have to use it and Minify the JS and CSS from there as well and use any third-party plugin for Compressing and Optimizing your site Images and also use server cache as well.
Basically the Speed of the site is something which can be achieved using Customization, So I only able to suggest you the tested solution, Please read and follow the instructions written in this article:
https://smartwave.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/12000052420--10-porto-site-speed
Regards, P-THEMES.
That is good, but why demos here https://preview.themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/9207399 have so low pagespeed rank? Why you didn’t all that you wrote?
Hello, @klondikex,
This is because it has a lot of content, images and JS to run which fetches the data from our server and it takes some time, this is not the normal page if you scroll down you will see the Demo’s loaded one by one and it takes time.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Hello, @klondikex,
Here is the result of our Demo:
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.portotheme.com/BlcLorkc
Obviously we have to update the Demo site as well with new contents so that is why it is not 100% and we will Optimize it too soon.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Hi, how to change Product Image Sizes? I see only thumbnail image size changing option in Appearance>Woocommerce>Product image
Hello, @ekkljs,
The Images settings of the products are coming from WooCommerce, Please read the below-given articles:
https://smartwave.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000052416--7-woo-image-sizes-changing
https://smartwave.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000052417--8-woo-images-looks-blurry-and-not-change-from-low-to-high
This is the default functionality of the WooCommerce new version as it does not provide the option to set height for the product image. it automatically resizes the image based on its width you set.
And some of the product layouts are default Theme layouts with the huge size of images, those will only be altered via Customization, You can change the default layout setting using WooCommerce setting.
That’s all.
Ok. But I don’t see image width change option either.(Appearance>Woocommerce>Product image) It only shows option for changing the width for thumbnail image. Where is the option to change product image width then?
Thank you. I found out it was disabled by an another plugin. I see single product layout is set to col-md-5 for image and co-md-7 for description. How to change col-md-5 to col-md-6 or 7 for image on single product page layout?
Hello, @ekkljs,
As I told you, you can not change the Pre-Built Layouts, If you want to use the different cols then try with different Pre-Built layouts and use which suits your requirements from Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product.
OR
If you want to create your own layout then you can use “Custom Product Layout Builder” First of all, you have to go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product, you will find a new page layout called ”Custom Layout”: https://pasteboard.co/IFTy89J.png , after selecting this, you have to enable product_layout post type in visual composer role manager: https://pasteboard.co/IFTz9YN.png , Then you have to go to new Custom Post Type ”Product Layout” and add new Layout: https://pasteboard.co/IFTzEPi.png After that you can now create new product layout using Visual Composer Backend / Frontend editor: https://pasteboard.co/IFTA2q8.png , now save it and again go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product and select that layout from there and save changes: https://pasteboard.co/IFTAuFF.png , It will work for you.
You can read more about it here in Theme Documentation:
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/woocommerce-product-layouts/
Hi, thanks for detail explanation! How do I import one of prebuilt product layout (default) then? I want to change the grid for product pic only so I just need to change a bit from one of prebuilt in product layout. Thank you.
Hello, @ekkljs,
You will find all the Pre Built layouts under Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product and change anyone which better suits your requirements.
And if you have any issue remaining or the new issue then please generate the support ticket via our support system, this platform is only used for pre-sale questions and small queries.
Hello, @faraz1990,
You can check all our Pre-Built Demo’s here:

And check this Demo as well:

How Can I transition from Wpbakery to Elementor? Wpbakery is giving me constant headache and it does not seem to be updated more than one or two times per year… so it seems the developers abandoned the project? It seems like there is no other way, but to transition to Elementor.

Hello, @JohnS0N,
You can not use the Elementor Page Builder on WP Bakery Demo content and Vice Versa, so you have to start from scratch, please read the below-given comments.
https://themeforest.net/comments/24150936
https://themeforest.net/comments/24859804
And if you want to update the WP Bakery plugin, then delete the old version of the plugin from your site and download the latest version of the plugin from the below-given article and Install and Activate it on your site, it will work for you.
https://smartwave.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000007851--12-latest-wp-bakery-visual-composer-and-ultimate-addons-for-visual-composer-and-slider-revolution
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 12/06/2019. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.
Thanks for your understand.
Thanks, just one more question. Do I have to actually “import” a given demo? Can’t I just deactivate wpbakery, activate elementor and then do the necessary settings myself? I don’t want that my widgets, menus are erased and unnecessary pages and images imported. Basically there is a lot of cleaning up to do if I import it. I just want to transition to elementor, because wpbakery seems like it’s poorly coded and conflict with everything. As you’ve seen above it gives me fatal errors..
Hello, @JohnS0N,
First of all, the WP Bakery version is also perfectly coded and there is no such issue the issue is only at your end, and as I explained above, you have to start from Scratch otherwise, it will create an issue for you.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 12/06/2019. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Hi, where I can choose burger menu for my main menu on desktop version? Thanks
Hello, @Rosquill,
Sorry to say that but this is not possible using Theme Options If you want to use the Hamburger Menu on Desktop version as well then you have to remove the Main Menu from Desktop version and show the Hamburger Mobile Menu on Desktop version using Custom CSS (Media Queries). Please share your live site URL so that I’ll check and provide you the Custom CSS (Media Queries) for it and then you can use it.
Thank you very much. The web is under construction. If it’s okay with you, I’ll open a support ticket to send you the access data.
Hi, My Ticket is #98410. Thanks!!
It has already been resolved. The support has been great. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi there, I’m having a problem using a waitlist plugin! Before changing to your theme we used “waitlist for woocoomerce” plugin and it worked perfectly! But now the buttons and form won’t appear on the product page and it seems that the ajax and JavaScript responsible for its work aren’t loading either! Are you familiar with this issue? Is there a waitlist plugin that is compatible with Porto theme, cause I tried a couple and they all have issues? I’d appreciate your help. Thanks

Hi,
I would like to create a page that lists all my products on sale, but I would like to keep the sidebar filters.
Can you please advice on how to do this?
Than you!
So far, I’ve managed to display on sale products, add a sidebar to the page, but filters dont seem to work.
Hello, @jvtoriello,
Sound’s Good!!!, that you have managed to create the page you want, you are the best… and I am sorry but this is not possible to the filters to work on pages accept the Shop/Category archive pages, Yes, Filters are coming from WooCommerce and it has the default functionality and only works on Shop/Category pages not on any other page, so This requires customization. Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend to contact our customization team or hire a developer.
Hello, is this possible to move search in mobile view on header, i got so many feedbacks that search is very to find as its placement in mobile view is in bottom side in mobile menu. Please let me know any solution.
Hello, @pratik_asabe,
The header type you are using on your site, this is not possible with it, because it is the default and pre-built header, you have to use the Header Builder Feature and create your own header with elements as per your requirements.
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/header-builder/
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 28/05/2020. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Hi,
Mini cart icon is not shown in the header, only the item amount. For example: https://www.uskin.nl. Have this problem on multiple sites build with Porto. Currently settings: Theme Options » Header » Mini Cart Icon » “minicart-icon3”
How to fix this? Thanks!
Hello, @thecreativelabnet,
If you have the Cart Icon on your site by default as showing below:
Then before using any other Icon, you first have to remove this Icon, and it has been made using Custom CSS, You have to comment out the Custom CSS from Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS as showing below:
And then you can use any Icon code from here or FontAwesome:
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shortcodes/icons/
As showing below:
And then paste that code under Porto >> Theme Options >> Header >> Mini Cart Icon as showing below:
It will work for you:
This is how it works
hi, I have used your license code theme I bought before to try it on another website and canceled it for another site now my user license looks still on the same site.
I would like to report a bug. It happens on Firefox.
The product archive (category) view does not display correctly:
https://i.imgur.com/YPMUmhG.pngI think it has to do with the filter. This also brings me to the question, when did this get updated? In the past there used to be a small square where you choose the filter?
Hello, @JohnS0N,
This is not a bug, but the design of that sidebar Filter is changed in the very latest version of the Theme, I have just checked your site on the very latest version of the FireFox browser at my end and it is working perfectly fine at my end, please see this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/kR38tdR5
, It must be the cache issue at your end nothing else.
