And Regarding the Speed of the site: We are sorry that you faced some problems working with our theme. But our theme is one of the most optimized on the market. In general, our theme is already optimized and doesn’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images, or other resources. So we suggest you remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache, or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use the GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.

First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and don’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your web site, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. The traffic depends on a lot of different factors and not our theme only. The only argument from you was your website’s low score on Google Pagespeed. But it can’t be because of that if your real website speed is quite fast. We suggest you read an article from the WP Rocket team – one of the most experienced companies in terms of WordPress optimization.

Please see the above link, This is clearly showing in the above link that the Speed of the site is slow because of the Images has not been optimized and Compressed and because of JS and CSS has not been minified and because of the Server as well.

Porto Comes with the default Speed Optimization Wizard Option, you will find under Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard, So you have to use it and Minify the JS and CSS from there as well and use any third-party plugin for Compressing and Optimizing your site Images and also use server cache as well.

I am sorry to say that but this is not possible, you can simply remove the “Estimate Shipping & Tax” calculator from your Cart page using Custom CSS completely, but this is not possible to hide/remove it with some Custom order, If you are using any third party plugin for this reason then please try to contact the plugin Author and ask for the solution for it. Our theme does not have any influence on it.

I am trying to change the image size of the hover image. When the mouse is over the product image I am seeing the hover size image is smaller than the one of the product! it should be the opposite.

This is because of your image size when the image is small in size and the size has been set as large from Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images then it will behave abnormally, so you have to upload the large size images for the product featured image, like let’s try to upload the 1000×1000px image and then set it as 600px from Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images and check back after removing the browser cache it will work for you perfectly fine, WooCommerce/WordPress by default can resize the large dimension image as a small dimension but not vice versa.

No need to edit the Core file, please go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Extra >> 404 Error and you will find a block slug name set there, remove that block slug name and add/insert your block slug name, it will work for you.

Hello Team! I think that your file wp-content/themes/porto/404.php has 2 columns: LEFT part fixed with html text, and RIGHT part with custom block. I would like to have just custom block. I already changed slug in Porto >> Theme Options >> Extra >> 404 Error , but it’s not enough, and I need to edit 404.php file, but when I upgrade Theme, I lose my editing.

Exactly you are very right, this is how it works and you have to Customize the core file 404.php but again you are right, it will be overridden whenever you will update the Theme so you have to use Child Theme and Customize the Theme core files in Child Theme by using functions and this requires Customization If you want our paid Customization services you can contact our Customization team as well or hire any developer.
