I’m facing a small issue with my post style in Safari’s “Reader Mode” – both in web and mobile (iPhone).
If you enter this blog post (https://dragboo.com/bar_tov/barack-obama-credits-mother-for-career-path-in-mondays-renegades-born-in-the-usa-podcast-with-bruce-springsteen/) you will see that everything is working great, but if you enter the “Reader Mode” function you will see a big gap between the info box and the content (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/1kbfzd0). We tried to remove the social networks button, but it didn’t work.
We can’t understand where this gap is coming from, since everything is working great in web and mobile in regular mode.

Hey there! Yes I understand what you’re saying, but the gap is really bothering me. When I check other websites on “Reader Mode” I don’t see such a gap, and my posts are very long and I’m sure viewers would like to read them with “Reader Mode”. In the screenshot from time.com I don’t see such a gap, and mine really too big and looks weird.
That’s why it’s so important for me to fix this issue.

Hey undsgn! We recently wanted to update from Uncode 1.4.2 to the newest version. But after installing the new version the theme completely breaks. Even when there are all plugins turned off the theme/design still doesnt work correctly.
On the old version the composer doesnt work, so the update is needed. Is there a way to get a different version instead of the newest? We would like to try different versions to see how the website reacts to it.
Hello! When you say “completely breaks” what you mean in particular? Do you have PHP errors? Are you using a child theme maybe? In this case you have to switch it off to check if the problem is in it. Have you saved the Theme Options again after updating? The menus are not usable anymore, that is the main issue so far. Whenever you click them nothing happens / nothing pops up. Also some content are out of frame.
We updated Wordpress and most plugins. After updating those everything still works fine. The undesign update breaks the theme somehow.
Checked for PHP errors in the log viewer but no errors so far. Checked the console and sometimes this error pops up “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) .../my-website/uncode-ajax.php:1 “
Currently looking for more information, will update if we find some other errors.
Yes we tried exporting and importing the theme options too. Also somehow the menu at the wp dashboard -> undesign -> Options Utils is yellow after the undesign update. Which is very curious. (Is there an css/design override somewhere? But why would it change the design at the WP Dashboard Undesign Settings?)

Hello again: we remove uncode-ajax.php file years ago, so if your browser still tries to load it or you used it in a child theme (and as I said, please, disable the child theme to check) or you only need to empty the browser cache.

We are not using a child theme (forgot to mention that, sorry!)
The website we are testing this on is a clone of the original (we dont wanna do any changes on the live version until we know everything works)

Both websites just exist for testing and will be deleted as soon as we fixed the issues and updated the live version.
Hello! You don’t use a child theme, but you have many custom CSS that have completely changed the menu behaviour. The main problem I see is that. I don’t see any missing file in the browser console, so the problem with uncode-ajax.php is definitely due to your browser cache. Then, if I remove manually from the browser inspector your custom CSS (you put, I guess, into the Theme Options) the menu dropdown works fine and the only problem is the logo size and the carousel size below the menu, but I can’t understand the reason why from here, maybe a missing option: https://undsgn.d.pr/M7LjGu. Unfortunately you are asking support on a custom CSS code, and we can’t provide it directly, I can only recommend to check how the selectors in theme are changed since your customizations and adapt you code to them. Dear support, I have an issue with media galleries. When there are more than about 20 images in an existing gallery, I cannot edit the page to add further images to the gallery. I can select them but when I click Add Media, the images are not added. I purchased the theme and unfortunately my support just expired. Thank you for your help!
Hi! Unfortunately, other users are not reporting the same problem, we are not able to replicate in our installations, and without the possibility to check your site it’s not easy to help. Try to remove all possible extra plugins, and verify in the System Status the server requirements. Otherwise, we need to check it.

Just did the 2.4.0.2 update and now the Content Block is now working properly. When on a page with a content block it doesn’t show the background image of that content block. When I edit the block the background image is showing. Something is going on with the update.

- For licensing issue you have to refer to Envato docs, we obey Envato’s rules, the licensing policy depends on them and we just comply with it. - Yes, pages can be edited through WP Bakery Frontend Editor.
- Not sure what you mean with WooCommerce elements, however the thing you see on our demo are available in the theme itself. If you mean something else please clarify.

Hi Guys.
I have a slight issue since the last update whereby I cannot add images to existing galleries. f I want to amend a gallery, it loads the existing images in that gallery but doesn’t show the remaining images in the media library in order to add them to this gallery.
I have met all of the performance requirements Max Vars, memory limit etc, but it simply doesn’t allow me to add new images (which are already in the media library).
Any ideas what could be causing this?

unfortunately it seems that in the latest WordPress version 2.8.0 there is some glitch regarding this, it happens with every theme and in many situations (try with a Featured Image with Twenty Twenty-One theme for instance), it has been also opened an issue on WordPress Trac about that: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/53765#ticket

Since the update I can’t seem to find some of the elements like accordion, tabs, google maps etc. I looked if all plugins are still active and also cleared the chase but I can’t see it still.

We are sorry but we don’t have other similar reports, and we are not able to replicate in our installations, if this was an issue of the latest update here you should read thousand of similar reports… Unfortunately, from here we cannot debug what is the problem on your installation. Did you try to install the theme again? Probably some files relative to these modules, were not properly uploaded.
Hi, i`m using custom content block for shop pages, but it doesn`t order products correctly. I set order by date, ASC, but it didn`t work. I changed for many order types, but it didn`t work either. It shows 12 fixed products and only after load more button it show products in the order that i setup. Please, how can i order all products in the grid? I already product dates, but not working.

Please be sure you are not using the Dynamic Query since with this option the query, as for documentation, is the native WordPress/WooCommerce query for a given context, and the options of the Build Query group are not taken into account. Yeah but your Single Demo Import does not work with the latest version of Uncode and WP. You click in the first column and the text does not update in the 2nd column so I can’t actually import the demo!

In this case we cannot help until it’s online since we don’t have a single report about possible problems, and before the go-live also lot of Beta Testers used it. Try to verify if you have some JavaScript errors, or disable all possible extra plugins.

Quick question. I have site width at 1400px which looks great on desktop. On 13” laptop its very wide.
On docs it says ‘Layout width: this setting defines the general width for the entire site, it can be specified in px or as a percentage of the viewport.’
Is this still true as I thought you had to set px rather than percentage? I assume the latter if possible would solve it being too wide on laptops.

We are sorry but it’s really not possible to understand in words what you are referring to, also because I think that “very wide on laptop” is something really subjective… at least share the link of your site or some screenshots. Anyway I think you can create a media query to check the max-width value of the “limit-width” class.

Hi dimsal! ‘WebP Compatibility’ was only part of the Beta version of Uncode, and it was removed from the final version.
Why? Is it no longer required or proved to be unusable/inefficient?
The option was redundant because if you use a WebP conversion plugin, the plugin itself replicates the function.

When you buy on ThemeForest a theme that bundles a Premium plugin, you are free to use the plugin but you don’t have your own license to activate possible reserved features (this is the same for all themes).
