Hi there,

Since the update I can’t seem to find some of the elements like accordion, tabs, google maps etc. I looked if all plugins are still active and also cleared the chase but I can’t see it still. :(

Hi gunselsenol! We are sorry but we don’t have other similar reports, and we are not able to replicate in our installations, if this was an issue of the latest update here you should read thousand of similar reports… Unfortunately, from here we cannot debug what is the problem on your installation. Did you try to install the theme again? Probably some files relative to these modules, were not properly uploaded.

Hi, i`m using custom content block for shop pages, but it doesn`t order products correctly. I set order by date, ASC, but it didn`t work. I changed for many order types, but it didn`t work either. It shows 12 fixed products and only after load more button it show products in the order that i setup. Please, how can i order all products in the grid? I already product dates, but not working.

Hi efdesignbr! Please be sure you are not using the Dynamic Query since with this option the query, as for documentation, is the native WordPress/WooCommerce query for a given context, and the options of the Build Query group are not taken into account. Otherwise, the options work as they should, tested now for you: https://undsgn.d.pr/WTasMq

Hi, thank you for the quickly answer! Yes, i`m using dynamic query, because content block is inserted in Archive product pages at Theme Options. When i disable it, it takes too long to load and crash without load.

Hello,
without seeing the site and the settings I can’t understand what is causing the error, obviously there is some kind of loop. You should open a ticket in our Help Center to allow us to investigate further: https://support.undsgn.com/hc.

Regarding the product order: WooCommerce by default always displays the products in the default order and editable as per their documentation through drag & drop at the tab “Sorting” https://undsgn.d.pr/7CLTtr Once activated the checkbox “Dynamic Query” the options of “Build Query” are overwritten, but you can activate the filters of WooCommerce to give the user the ability to change the order at will: https://undsgn.d.pr/ogRhuR
Let us know, best :-)

Can you please create a video about the Background Color Changer? Tried it following your instructions to the letter, and..erm…it just doesn’t work :(

In this case we cannot help until it’s online since we don’t have a single report about possible problems, and before the go-live also lot of Beta Testers used it. Try to verify if you have some JavaScript errors, or disable all possible extra plugins.

Ok. I’ll try something. Thanks for such a great theme though

Hi There.

I have an issue regarding the new menu layout and badge system.

I align my menu items using CSS, but when a badge is present, it seems to default to left align. Is there a way to fix this?

Associated screenshot…

https://jurassiccoast.photography/Screen%20Shot%202021-07-30%20at%2013.57.28.png

Many thanks.

Daniel

You can try this:

@media (min-width: 960px){
.menu-container .menu-horizontal ul.menu-smart a.has-badge {
    display: block;
}
}

Brilliant, you guys are the best.

Amazing update by the way…this theme just gets better and better.

Hi Imagesofdorset! Thank you for the confirmation and kindly words!

Quick question. I have site width at 1400px which looks great on desktop. On 13” laptop its very wide.

On docs it says ‘Layout width: this setting defines the general width for the entire site, it can be specified in px or as a percentage of the viewport.’

Is this still true as I thought you had to set px rather than percentage? I assume the latter if possible would solve it being too wide on laptops.

Hi OmriS! We are sorry but it’s really not possible to understand in words what you are referring to, also because I think that “very wide on laptop” is something really subjective… at least share the link of your site or some screenshots. Anyway I think you can create a media query to check the max-width value of the “limit-width” class.

Hi There.

Any way, when using the enhanced menu option, of stopping the menu overlapping when the menu items are slightly longer in length?

Here is an example of what I mean. If you hover over OUR GALLERIES, you will see what I mean.

Thank you.

https://jurassiccoast.photography/info/about-us/

Hi Imagesofdorset! Use a code like this and adjust to your needs:

@media (min-width: 960px){
.menu-sub-enhanced.menu-horizontal .menu-smart > .mega-menu .mega-menu-inner > li {
    max-width: 350px !important;
}
}

That’s perfect, thank you so much.

Thank you for the confirmation!

Hello i wanted to know if it’s possible to do a listing ad website with your theme ? Thanks

Hi georgediesel! We are sorry but we need more information and examples to understand your request/requiremenets.

I mean something like this theme “https://themeforest.net/search/lisfinity”, i saw the questions was already asked before but never got a straight answer

Hi georgediesel! There is not a “straight answer” since this depends on individual skills. Uncode is obviously not a listing theme but it can be used to create a listing thanks to the features, for example, you can create different CPTs, use the Live Search, the Widgetised Content Block filters, etc, ex: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214001865 , https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011115877 ,...

Hello, is there a way to change the logo colour or top menu background colour. My logo is white so disappears against white backgrounds. Many thanks.

Hello flintdigitalco,
yes of course there is. It would be helpful to see your site, just to understand if your logo is an image, or text etc. From “Theme Options -> Customize” you can set a skin for your menu and decide what background color assign to that skin: https://undsgn.d.pr/HTQ7mi

Anyway, if you need support is offered in our Help Center, there we have a completely dedicated support team, please submit a ticket so we can check your installation and support the solution privately! Thank you! https://support.undsgn.com/hc

That’s great thanks. I’m using a .png so maybe an .svg would work better. Do you have any documentation on how to change colours on an .svg logo?

Hi flintdigitalco! From what we can understand from here, if you want a logo that change color automatically you can use an SVG as code, or use the Switchable option and upload two different logos, please find all dedicated info here: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214001865
PS: If then you need more help please open a ticket as suggested so we can understand better based on your logo and settings.

Help! I am unable to turn on Visual Composer for content block. It wont let me select it.

Hi farmshedco! Please check the step 5 of the correct installation: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214000625

I’m trying to do a fresh theme install but it’s saying that I’ve exceeded the maximum number of activations permitted for a single Purchase Code. I don’t have it registered anywhere but I did have to do it a couple times today due to some tech issues I ran into. Can you please tell me what I can do? I really need this site up asap!

Hi prettycre8ive! Don’t worry we can check what is the problem is related (obviously, if you have this error, it is because you have activated it on too many different servers). As noted in the message you have next to the error message, you can send a private message using the form you find on this page: https://themeforest.net/user/undsgn
PS: Please include in the message also your Purchase Code.

Hi There.

Great update!

I cannot seem to find how to make the menu look like your new menu in the latest update. Could you point me to the documentation for this?

Many thanks.

Hi Imagesofdorset! Thank you for appreciate but we really don’t get what option do you refer to? Do you mean the new Megamenu layout? In case you can find more info here at the menu section: https://undsgn.com/introducing-uncode-2-4-0/

Thank you for a great update with new features. Question. In my install ‘WebP Compatibility’ option is not available, how do I enable it?

The option was redundant because if you use a WebP conversion plugin, the plugin itself replicates the function.

I see, thank you for explaining.

Thank you for interest, and for noting this glitch between some screenshots and the final version!

Hi there just a quick question with regards to the integration of the Revolution Slider 6. Is this a limited version… no templates included? If I want templates do I have to buy the full version? Thanks

Hi aammar! When you buy on ThemeForest a theme that bundles a Premium plugin, you are free to use the plugin but you don’t have your own license to activate possible reserved features (this is the same for all themes). Yes, if you need templates from this plugin you need to activate it with your own license, please find more info here: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/articles/213454629

thanks so simply if I buy revolution slider 6 plugin with all premium features… will I have any issues activating it with in your wonderful template as it already comes with a version of the revolution slider. thanks

Hi aammar! No you will not have any issue, you just need to register/activate it with your own license.

Does uncode have a native LazyLoad feature? I have images being lazy-loaded yet I’m not using anything like wp rocket. Looking for a way to disable whatever the native feature is that makes images load in this way.

Hi OmriS! Uncode doesn’t have a native lazy-load feature, probably you have something else that is adding some lazy-loading (Jetpack, etc). If you use the new Dynamic Srcset images you can use the native WordPress lazy-loading: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403183673873

hi again, since updating to the latest version of uncode I have an issue that the submenus on my menu do not appear when hovering over the menu items. please help

Hi supermex! Please be sure to have cleared your cache (browser, server, possible extra services), at the moment we don’t have any other users that reported something similar, and it’s really not possible to help without a link to your site.

found it, the error happens when “delay Javascript” is turned on in wprocket. Which files should be excluded here?

Ok, thank you for confirming!

Hi there! I love your team and have been using it for all my clients. I have a request, I dont know if you do customizations but if you do I’m willing to pay for them. Is there a way I can “scale up” the images from portfolio and blog posts instead of zooming in?

Hello sele504 and thank you for the kind words.
About your request: would you zoom them out instead zoom them in? Have I understood correctly? We do not offer a customization service, however, basically, you only have to keep the CSS code necessary for the zoom-in effect and make them work in the opposite way: https://pastebin.com/k3wWDHtz

Please, consider the snippet here above a starting point. Paste it into your “Theme Options > CSS & JS > CSS” or into your child theme and adjust it to your needs.

Let us know, best :-)

No, is not zooming, is like the actual border of the image expands once you hover over, so basically is Scaling up a couple pixels

Hi sele504! Ah ok probably we get what you mean (the thumbnail scale a but on hover), but it’s not something we can suggest a small and simple CSS to achieve the effect. In case you can follow our suggestions in this article: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000555209

Hi, I am managing a site that has the uncode theme installed and is in use. Apparently this theme or package came with some other extensions like uncode WPBaker, uncode Wireframes and uncode WPBaker visual composer clipboard. The license has long expired for this them and we wish to keep it updated. The problem is, the website owner does not have the original account info to renew his current theme and extensions. We will have to repurchase them with a new account. If we do this, can we simply apply the new license information to the Theme and extensions without having to reinstall an entirely new one?

Hi tomg26! This is not super old version, and you can update the normal way with the Purchase Code only. Anyway, if for some reasons, you need support is offered in our Help Center, there we have a completely dedicated support team, please submit a ticket so we can check your installation and support the solution privately! Thank you!  https://support.undsgn.com/hc

Ok thank you. I cannot submit a help ticket because we do not yet have a purchase code to fill out the form with. Can you advise exactly what product we need to purchase that covers the above mentioned theme and extensions?

Hi tomg26! You just need Uncode, everything is included within the purchase: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/articles/213453349

getting the error: Uncaught TypeError: UNCODE.initCursor is not a function what does that mean?

Hello!
It only means your server is loading an old version of the file init.js that contains UNCODE.initCursor from Uncode v.2.4.0 Just empty your browser cache.
Let us know, best :-)

Hi, i would like to change my licensed domain. How can i contact with you guys? or can you simply unlock the “twoface.money” domain for me?

Hi ilzamsad! Please find info at the bottom of this page, and contact us privately via the form you find in our profile page: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000849998

The update is top, but it would make sense to change something in the structure and perhaps add a function that outputs a CSS with IDs and classes that are also needed, so used. Then the performance and thus the loading speed of the sites would improve significantly. Maybe you should also replace the WP Bakery Page Builder with the Elementor Page Builder.

Hi pkroehl! Ok thank you for feedback, but, what you do in HTML is aimed at constructing and recreate a single layout, not all the variations of design that Uncode allows you to do starting from the same common structure, said as it is said is somewhat simplistic. Uncode’s loading times don’t seem that bad, but optimization is a process that takes into account many factors and must be carried out by the user; ex: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/undsgn.com/Jl1cSEhb/

Thanks for the link and the answer.

Unfortunately the answer is not satisfactory. I took the example from the link and did some performance analysis myself. GTMetrix is good, but it uses Lighthouse 7.4.0 for analysis, while Page Speed Insights from Google uses Lighthouse 8.0.0. You should use multiple tools and never commit to one. In addition, one should also look at the competitors and keep an eye on them. In fact, I have the impression that the competitors are a bit better than Uncode, in terms of performance.

Desktop & Mobile:

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fundsgn.com%2Funcode%2Fhomepages%2Fportfolio-freelance%2F&tab=desktop

Desktop:

https://www.webpagetest.org/result/210722_AiDcVS_3c571eaf623d800751f791e811edf63e/

Mobile:

https://www.webpagetest.org/result/210722_AiDcCQ_9e59c7de750020c44892eb7ec2fb0e7e/

Based on the analyses, you can see that the website performs quite well in the desktop variant, but not in the mobile variant.

Furthermore, a Google update is currently running, which has the focus “mobile only” and is aimed at the Core Web Vitals.

So the setting or changes should be made not only by the user, but also by the developer.

By the way, I have 13 years of experience in creating and optimizing websites.

Example: https://www.eisenbahnfreunde-berlin.net

Please note that we are not looking for an answer that is satisfactory to you, we answer for facts, and you can’t really compare you creating a section in static HTML with the same design created by a multi-porpouse theme.
Yes, we use multiple tools, and, based on this, you should see that apart from the Page Speed metrics, all the other tools say that Uncode works more than well. In fact, we look at our competitors. It’s just strange that you don’t do it yourself first, and you don’t compare Uncode to other themes of the creative category. So I’ll leave some comparisons here so you can look at them make your reasoning: Uncode, Competitor 1, Competitor 2, Competitor 3.
From this, we deduce that Uncode is currently in line with the top 4 top-sellers in Envato’s creative category. Now that you have years of experience in creating and optimizing websites, you can understand why these themes of the creative category perform a little worse on Page Speed than other themes.
I want to add just one point, although this is obvious to everyone involved in web development. The biggest problem to accommodate possible modifications that may sweet Page Speed is backward compatibility, to not create issues or modify the sites of those who already use Uncode.
PS: Looking at your site, we see some improvements that need to be made if you mind about page speed (yes, also because there are much more authoritative people than you and me that don’t mind about speed test, like this interesting article). Only as a suggestion, check out for errors caused by extra scripts and plugins, ex: https://undsgn.d.pr/eJokSm
