Problem to import demo, bug on Main content error 503 and now error 500 ? Can’t work … waiting for help thks

We detected that you received 500 server error on your site. I can confirm that this case doesn’t come from the theme, as I have tested the issue that the user reported in our testing environments with developers and QA team. While importing the demo on our website there is no 500 error occurred.

We have more than 18,450 active user of our theme, and they already installed and imported the theme demo layout without any restrictions. So, I should inform you that due to the following reasons the demo import may not be completed:

a. The system settings are below the requirements. We recommend the following system configuration for the best experience with the theme.

PHP version 7.4 and above PHP Memory limit at least 256M Upload max file size at least 32M Maximum Post Size at least 32M Maximum Execution time 600 GZip: enabled ZipArchive: enabled WP Remote Get: enabled

b. When Security and caching plugins are preinstalled with WordPress Environment by Hosting. For example, Siteground installs Siteground Optimizer and Siteground Security plugins by default and they may block external ajax requests. While importing the main content the theme sends external ajax requests to download necessary files files from Amazon AWS . Due to firewall and restrictions for AJAX requests the demo content may stop not completed. While importing main content the theme sends external requests to our server and WordPress repositories and some of the hostings are blocking them.

Finally the bug was solve by your staff, it was missing a temporary file and I had no error message during the installation , thanks to Eric !

To import demo content you need to have a server that supports creating temp folders with full permissions, without this permission seems our support manager imported the demo layout manually. In the future, if you are going to import a demo layout, we highly recommend you make sure that the server environment supports temp folder calls.

I can’t import your demo. All my system settings are fine but I get an error 200 when importing. I don’t have all the theme options. I need this to work to change my header. I have submitted a ticket.

The 200 error usually comes due to the server environment settings. To import demo content you need to have server that supports creating temp folders with full permissions. In addition:

I have seen that in some that the header and footer changes are only possible within the theme options. I would like to know if there is a possibility that we can make these to measure with the elementor constructor.

Yes, you are correct the header appearance of the theme can be changed from the theme options only at the moment. We are planning to improve and include Elementor Header/Footer builder integration in future updates of the theme

Such kinds of changes you can make with additional custom CSS. You can insert custom CSS under the appearance > customize > CSS section directly

Hi, I have an issue with your theme. Whenever I install demo, it’s always full of bugs and I get this message:

“Your theme (Motors) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.”

Also, demo is not installing at main content import.

Note that this is not a bug or a fatal restriction in general. These are just simple warnings generated by the WooCommerce plugin and they do not affect the proper functioning of your website. Whenever the authors of WooCommerce release a new version, the plugin templates may become outdated in the theme, even if the new version of the theme was released the day before. Unfortunately, we can’t control the release schedule of the plugin as WooCommerce is known to release updates frequently, sometimes twice a week. However, please be assured that the new version of the theme will always include the latest updated templates of WooCommerce.

The booking option is available only in the Rental One and Rental Two demo layouts of the Motors theme. Other demo layouts couldn’t use Bookings by default

Hello team this theme used to be on a domain that expired along time ago and doesn’t exist anymore. I then created a new domain and wanted to use the same theme and the same license. However I am getting this error; “Activation alert: The current license is not allowed to be used in this website”

I have a pre sale question about the inventory feeds. We are looking to have multiple dealers listings on the site and will be getting inventory feeds from different CRM providers (example – dealersocket) will we be able to have those imported into the site from other providers than AutoManager using the WebManager feature? My second question is about using a directory plugin with this theme as we will also have other industry niches on this directory site along with the automotive side of it. Thank you for any help you can provide us before we purchase this product. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully getting started with our build soon.

We are wanting to integrate our new website (possibly using this Motors theme) with AutoTrader (a new and used car online website) All our clients vehicles are listed and update on this AutoTrader site. Images sizes are located under the following path below -> wp-content/themes/motors/inc/ setup.php file and /wp-content/themes/motors/partials/single-car/car-gallery.php and wp-content/themes/motors/partials/car-filter-loop.php.

Please note, such kind of modifications and changes are not recommended by default. We are not able to provide support from our support end for changed theme scripts if there will be unexpected restrictions

By default, the theme and external plugins are in English. However, the theme and plugins are ready for translations. You can change your site’s main language under the WordPress dashboard > settings > general > site language section. It is recommended to use the Loco Translate plugin in order to properly set translations in the site, via this plugin you can properly organize translations of static strings of the theme and external plugins (Motors Extends, Motors listings, Motors WP Bakery Widgets, Motors Elementor Widgets). So, you can make your site in any language.
