My support for your theme has ended, but I believe there is an issue in the newest version (2.7.11) of your theme.
We are using your version of the “posts” module in WP Bakery, and with the newest update it seems to be ignoring “featured” posts. So posts that should be showing in my grid are no longer appearing.
I originally contacted The Events Calendar thinking it was an issue on their end, but they confirmed by using the native WP Bakery Page Builder elements (and not your proprietary version) that the featured posts (or events) show up fine.
I’m happy to share what I’ve discovered so far if there is a way to contact you. If not, I’m hoping this is something your developers can look into and test on their end, and hopefully issue a fix in the next update.

Sorry, I actually assumed you were talking about ‘sticky’ posts, but perhaps I misunderstood the message. What do you mean by ‘featured posts’, just to be sure? Or are you talking about an option that is only available for the Events custom post type?
Sorry for the delay, I went back and forth with The Events Calendar people because I disproved their “Featured Events” theory. Something in their newest versions is causing all the posts to show up in weird orders. And this is what they’ve said:
“After the release of version 6.0.2 / 6.0.3, the updated plugin versions included some modifications that may have caused the Posts element query to produce varying results. This is not necessarily a bug, as a standard WP Query will naturally sort posts by their published date. To resolve this, the query may need to be altered or the outcome sorted by custom meta. I am afraid that you will need to override the element’s query to change the order by field and have it ordered by _EventStartDate.”
Is this something that your posts plugin can do? I do not currently see an option for event start date in the dropdown.

I’m sorry but it’s not something really easy to understand here in words, this is more of a developer thing and so you should open a ticket (if you think the issue is caused by Uncode, although here it seems to me more of a change, from what they say, of WordPress itself). Secondly, it is not sure that the features of a theme can adapt when a user uses an extra plugin, of this there is absolutely no guarantee since you are using codes from different authors that for nothing were coded to work together.

Hi! No, it is not possible to make comparisons because they are two different tools. There are simply those who like one workflow and those who are used to the other. One can certainly not make an endless list of the pros and cons of each builder. What is certain is that both those who find using WPBakery for the first time looking for Elementor’s workflow will find themselves ill at ease, as will those who try to use Elementor as they would with WPBakery. So since both are complex tools it is necessary to give yourself the right amount of time to discover the options and how they work (you will see for example that in Uncode WPBakery some modules are really extensive).
