I am trying to add some custom text directly under the shipping options on the cart, as well as the checkout, however the hooks don’t appear to be working? I got one to work near the top of the cart page, I believe this was “woocommerce_after_cart_contents”, but the others I need do nothing. Those being: “woocommerce_after_shipping_calculator”, “woocommerce_cart_totals_after_shipping” and “woocommerce_cart_totals_before_order_total”.
Can you please advise why these aren’t working? We have tried both doing it manually with code, as well as a plugin.

Ok, I checked, and have confirmed the ones that are not working are not in the template file. This means this theme does not fully support WooCommerce as it hasn’t brought over all hooks into the customised template files.

Hello. At this point I am not talking about “custom code” – I am referencing the hooks that are found within a standard WooCommerce template, which are not found within the Bridge WooCommerce templates.
If they are not there, how can you say it is “fully compatible with WooCommerce”?

There is no need to override all of the hooks inside the theme. WooCommerce plugin allows for just some files to be overridden inside the theme. I understand this, but if you override a template, the template it overrides will not be used, and hence the hooks will not be there to be utilised like they normally would.
You can also override our files. As we previously mentioned, some of the WooCommerce files are overwritten in the theme and you can find them on this path wp-content\themes\bridge\woocommerce

There is if you want to provide full support; and having to override a template so you can use a default WooCommerce hook is one of those.
This is not overriding them, it is making them available like they normally would be, because as it is, they are not made available by your overridden template.

The WooCommerce files in our theme only override some layouts and if you want to continue to adjust WooCommerce to suit your needs you can do this by using Child Theme.

I think there is some confusion here. Let me clarify the problem; it has nothing to do with custom code, it’s just about breaking existing functionality.
When you override a template, this now uses THAT template. If you don’t include ALL hooks within the new template, that means they are NO LONGER available to use.
I understand you haven’t overridden ALL templates, this is ONLY about the templates you HAVE overridden and the hooks inside them that are usually available to utilise by default. If you don’t include them in the NEW template you have created to override the default one, they are now no longer able to be used, and as such, breaks default functionality.
Hi Qode, thanks for this great Theme. I use it but now I have a problem.
I use Elementor and there seem to be problems when I use icons from Font Awesome. As soon as I use icons from Elementor and Bridge together, some of the icons are displayed incorrectly. If I only use icons from one of the two parties on a page, it works. Is there a way to 100% disable Font Awesome on either one? Or what would you do?
Example: I usw icons from the Bridge theme in the header and footer. They are displayed correctly on every subpage. Except on the first page. I also have other icons on the first page there with Elementor. This causes Bridge’s icons to become confused and suddenly appear bold. Or suddenly it shows a different icon. Only on the first page. I think there are different Font Awesome things are loaded that don’t harmonize.
How can I fix the problem? Do I prefer to deactivate the Elementor Icons or the Bridge Icons?

You can disable icon packs in the theme in Qode Options > Performance. However, since you are using icon widgets by the theme in header and footer, we recommend using them also on your front page.

Hi! after update Bridge theme to 30.6.1 I have this critical issue: Autoloaded options are configuration settings for plugins and themes that are automatically loaded with every page load in WordPress. Hello, I installed the theme from scratch and imported a demo. I installed and activated all the plugins that come with the theme. But the demo I installed does not work properly. We’ve checked the domain where your purchase code is registered and we see that you’ve imported WPBakery demo in this link and it also looks like there is some existing content on your site too. This is why you cannot edit demo content with Elementor. WPBakery and Elementor are not interchangeable, so demos created with WPBakery can only be edited with WPBakery page builder.
If you plan using this demo, then you should use WPBakery page builder as editor. In case you want to import some other Elementor demo, it is a good practice to first clear your existing demo by resetting the database (please note that this plugin will clear all WP content, basically reverting your site to the point when you just installed a fresh copy of wordpress).If you are using multisite, please use this plugin carefully because it can reset all network installations.
Also, you have mixed content notices in the console (please see screenshot). This issue can commonly occur when user activates SSL certificate on a website after the files have already been uploaded. To set up SSL and https we recommend following instructions from this article.

BUG REPORT
The QODE Blog Mansonry WPBackery element doesn’t honorate sticky posts. It should first list all the sticky posts odered as per setting (asc/desc) and then the non-sticky with same order setting of course.
Perhaps a flag “Honor sticky posts” can be added below the order direction setting to make it selectable
This should be extended also to other elements like Blog carousels and sliders

Hey bridge-core 3.2.0 seems to be broken. We manually updated the theme, then each plugin, and as soon as we update bridge-core all the short-codes stop working, and Qode Options disappears from the menu. No errors in the log. Using older bridge-core kind of works but of course has errors. We had to roll the website back to an older version. Is this known? (repro on 2 sites)

The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as theme authors, have purchased an extended license for them. That means you don’t have to activate their license and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon. Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.
