Aloha! I need assistance with a getting an API Key for this theme so I can register it in my back office & I am also have trouble with saving the updates I do in my back office. Here are examples of the updates that are not changing: 1. I changed the url of the social media links & clicked save, but nothing happens. 2. I tried to delete the image uploaded for my header, but it won’t delete. 3. I changed the color for my header & the updated color shows as my selection, but nothing changes on my actual website.
Please advise on how i can get the API code & my back office to update properly.

I can see that, it is because you are using multiple H1 tags and some instances are hidden using visibility options in Avada, however the code is indeed a part of page, if you want to not render the code (duplicate h1) this will require you to use rendering options on the container inside which the H1 is added.

Here’s a weird scenario: when using the “Recent Posts” element, the meta font color (for texts that are NOT links) is set by the .meta CSS class to #333. It seems like we can’t change this color in settings. I can’t find a place to edit this color in the element settings either. And it’s really annoying when you have the background color to something similar to #333 ( here’s a preview: https://i.imgur.com/D3KCUlV.png ). Also, changing the BG color is not an option. Can you please take this into consideration for a future update? It will definitely help us when it comes to customization. Thanks!

So the best option here is to actually use Post Card element here to show your content, post card element does provide you with the complete control over everything hence you should be able to change that as per your requirement.

From Avada side, please see if the “Description And Open Graph Meta Tags” option is enabled under Avada Options -> Advanced -> Features.
If you disable that setting and it still shows then likely an SEO plugin might be adding that.

Is there any way outside of css to customise the woocommerce product box hover.
I cant find any documentation on it. This is the thumnail displayed in the shop or using a woocommerce carousel or grid. On hover it seems to pick a random colour and I want to get rid of this.

This is coming from feature image rollover and the color can be changed from Avada > Global Options > Extras > Featured Image Rollover area.
If you want more customisation into this, you can always go ahead and create a post card of your own with the custom hover styling that suits your requirement.

These are all custom post types, changing the permalink for those will most probably cause them to go blank, we recommend looking for any 3rd party plugin that can provide such functionality in this case.

Hello. I want to help my client and they want to move to my webserver. But my web server use PHP 8.2 and the client site is still on PHP 7.4. If I copy the site over then the theme breaks. Avada is surely compatible with the latest PHP version for sure, however since you are on an older version, we will recommend you to first update your Avada towards latest version that is 7.11.11.
Once you are on the latest version, you should be able to migrate to latest PHP version just fine.

Hello, I would like to ask a question about Nested Columns Element. My theme always defaults to the following CSS properties:
width:104% important;margin-left: calc(-4% / 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% / 2 );
And even if I forcefully use the following CSS in custom css to turn it off, it won’t take effect.

I can’t find a place to set the basic properties of Nested Columns Element in all the settings of Avada. How should I fix it?
[Solved] I went to Avada > Options > Avada Builder Elements to modify the column spacing and adjusted its original default value of 4% to 0px and it solved the problem.

I moved my website from server to another and after few weeks I got the message “the purchase code is already being used on another domain”! I’m very sure that I’m using the same purchase code to the same domain name… Any thoughts?
BTW, I have seven AVADA purchase codes, and when I tried to add them to My AVADA, it accepted only four, and it gave me that the others are used by other domains… something wrong happen here. AVADA Team, your consideration is highly appreciated… That’s will destroy all AVADA customer websites.

This could simply happen due to the fact that your purchase code needs a reset, if the code is registered multiple times, it can throw this specific error.
Please reset / unregister the purchase code from your support account -> Licenses – My Avada You must be logged into your account to see that page.
Do not remove the purchase code from there but click the blue color Link Icon. Now try to register purchase code on your actual website and see if that works?

Thank you for your response. I actually submitted two support tickets to Avada regarding this issue, but I haven’t received any replies, which is quite disappointing. It seems like they’re trying to get me to pay $50 to extend my support period. However, I don’t understand why I should do that when the problem lies with their license registry. I’m starting to regret purchasing seven licenses for this template.

Following your security update, V7.11.11, the privacy bar no longer works. Specifically, when we click on “Agree” (meaning accept cookies), YouTube, for example, is still non-functional. Our troubleshooting involved deactivating all plugins and using the baseline configuration of the wp-config.php and .htaccess files. A patch to fix the above is appreciated.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately, we’re still experiencing the issue. We deactivated all plugins except Avada Builder and Avada Core and downgraded to PHP 8.2.24, but that didn’t help.
We also downgraded to Avada 7.11.10 and that didn’t help either. So, we believe we may have a corrupted database. Therefore, can you tell us where can we find the list of Avada Database Tables that come with your theme and how can we recreate any missing tables?
Again, thank you and apologies for the initiall assessment thinking the issue was caused by Avada 7.11.11.
Problem fixed by adjusting Avada’s privacy settings.

As promised, here’s how to replicate the issue reported above:

2. Click on the privacy bar “ACCEPT” button and you will notice that the privacy bar disappears (as intended) but Google Maps and YouTube do not load at all. Details: https://prnt.sc/4sBktzkEKd-F
So in short, a fix is needed to assist theme users.
Recommendations:
1. Please clarify the instructions on the privacy settings page. (BACKEND)
2. Add a function to the privacy settings page such that when the settings are incorrect and the Save button is pressed, an error message will display on the privacy settings page. (BACKEND)
3. Add a function that will generate a console error when the Privacy settings are not set correctly and the “ACCEPT” button is pressed. (FRONTEND)
