Hello. I will buy a theme. There are 2 real estate themes. There are “WP Rentals” and “Residence Real Estate” themes but I don’t know which theme to buy.
I want to use the theme as follows (My purpose of use): 1- I will add products such as bungalow houses, villas, luxury apartments, etc. for sale or rent. Visitors will choose the date range they want to stay and buy (payment will be made with woocommerce). 2- The sub-agent will add a $500,000 villa.
If they pay $100, it will be published. The publishing fee will be $100. Even if $100 is paid, the automatic ad will be published. I want to get $100 per product. I also want to get 5% commission when each product is sold.
Which theme should I use? Which theme supports these conditions. “WP Rentals” or “Residence Real Estate”

I am afraid neither of our themes (WPRentals or WpResidence) can be used for your project.
The WPRentals theme is designed primarily for accommodation booking, allowing users to add properties such as bungalow houses, villas, and luxury apartments for rent – per night or per hour with other specific pricing options. It is a standalone theme, Cannot show items for sale.
WpResidence can be used to add properties that you wish to sell or rent, but there is no selling of properties functionality in the theme. And there are no booking options (like users to actually see the availability calendar and rent a property as in WpRentals)
You cannot make a property sale in the theme. You cannot actually send bookings. The Theme options allow you to present properties only.
In either theme, you can use membership based submission to allow users to add properties. Or you can use Payment by listing (which does not expire) for this too – users pay a fee and the listing is published.

Is there a language file for the fields I specified? I want to translate these fields myself. Is it edited with a php file? I don’t want to deal with translations all the time when the theme is updated. Can I edit it with a language file?
Hello. Please confirm what “fields” you specific as I cannot find any field mention.
Our themes work with wordpress pot files. These can be managed in your language using Loco translate plugin. Edits made to core plugin languages made just by you on your version of installation need to be backed up and restored manually after reach update as core plugin is updated in theme updates.
The theme language files can be moved to a child theme and child theme is not updated during theme updates.

Are these fields edited from the language file? I don’t want my translations to be deleted when I update the theme. My message should stay here. My message should stay here. Calendar language is set in theme options
The labels / sections titles are set in theme options.
The extra booking options are added by listings https://help.wprentals.org/article/1-20-add-extra-options-in-booking-form/
The rest of the labels are managed via theme language files or WpRentals core plugin files.
The theme language file you make can be added to Child theme and that will not be affected directly by updates
The wprentals core plugin language files will be updated in updates
But you can backup language files before each update and upload them again with loco translate interface

What it does is after you browse for a certain amount of time, say five minutes, it blocks you from searching so you give your information and sign up as a user on the site with name, phone, email.

You can re-create hero media with revolution slider as section in Elementor and with Search Form Builder for Elementor from our theme – and you can have mobile search controlled differently, from the elementor widget – same as search shows here for example https://main.wpresidence.net/

As authors who wish to offer Revolution Slider plugin included in our theme, we purchased an extended license from Revolution Slider (Theme Punch).
This is a single license code that can be used only to offer the plugin Revolution Slider in our theme as included.
The extended license cannot be activated on multiple domains (it is a restriction of license regulations from theme forest).
This is the same for every wordpress theme that offers rev slider included in a theme purchase.
For the Premium Templates that come with Rev Slider, they demand you add a license key before you get access to the templates. Since the license we have cannot be used on multiple domains, you would have to buy a separate license to use this feature.

We know a plugin may be able to create custom permalinks for custom post types – in the past we tried this https://help.wpresidence.net/article/how-to-make-permalinks-for-properties-with-custom-id-instead-of-title-how-to-create-your-own-custom-permalink-structure/ But I do not have a way to confirm what you wish is possible with a plugin. The theme does not support this type of cusotm URL for sure.

Dear WPResidence Support,
After updating to the latest version of Elementor, my website crashes with a critical error. My WPResidence theme and the WPResidence Elementor plugin are fully updated, so the issue seems to be a conflict between the theme and the latest Elementor update.
Rolling back Elementor to an older version fixes the issue temporarily. Can you please check and provide a solution?

If the Elementor update creates the error and reverting elementor helps, it means WpResidence and included plugins (Elementor for WpResidence add-on) are not update to the compatible version with this elementor update (you must have WpResidence Elementor version 5.08, same for WPResidence theme and WpResidence Core)
If you have a child theme with custom changes – you need to activate the main theme / original code to confirm if there are any conflicts.
Please check you have updated the theme and included elementor plugin. We have released an update which includes updates to Elementor widgets (required to match the new elementor version)

before my support expired i tried manytimes to create logins but i neevr got the passowrd in my email, my only issue is that Elementor is conflciting with WpResidence Elementor Widgets and creating critical erros, i have deactivated all plugins and themes and found that this plugin is having some conflict. can you help to fix this please?

About the issue you have – Elementor changed some rules in their last update. You would need to have the WpResidence theme and included plugins updated first, then update elementor. But please note WpResidence last update has been a major theme update as we switched to a new bootstrap version.
You can revert Elementor version first from wp-admin – Elementor – Tools – Version Control – Revert https://prnt.sc/4Ua5l1DqMdaF – that will solve the error temporarily.
Before you update Elementor again you must do the theme update following below directions and notes

Hello. Can I use this theme to allow individual agents or agencies to list their properties like a portal and, subsequently, screen inquiries about the listed properties so that I am acting as a middle person between the agent and prospects? In other words, communications are between the website owner and prospects. Prospects do not engage directly with the agent. I assume there’s a chat app, not just a contact form. Thank you.

WpResidence theme does not have a communication channel as you describe unless you (site admin) manually change the agent to an agent you control for each listing.
The manual solution needs a lot of time and would not be useful for many agents and properties.
The theme front end submission – if enabled – shows the agent or agency contact info and the contact form directs all messages to that contact form.. Admin can get copies too or can manually change agent responsible to get the messages himself. But it is not a 3 way communication.

Regarding license – it cannot be de-activated. Maybe you updated from an older theme version and you need to add it again, but it cannot be de-activated

Hello thank you for quick response. If it’s available you can also see white space above and below header before update it wasnt there. Also I cant find out where this blue comes from. I don’t see it in any options I never set it to blue. Please Could you help me with this? Because before update everything was good and now some weird things happened to it.

The Theme Blue is synced with custom colors – Main Color
And there are widgets where you have Elementor Style to change that
Spaces may occur after latest update if you use Elementor Row / Section Margins and those can be removed from Elementor.
There may be widgets moved from a sidebar that was disabled – if they exist they can push the header? Check in wp-admin – appearance – widgets what is extra widget in Top Bar Widget area and delete any extra widgets.

None of these suggestions helped me. Customs colors are set different blue color is still there. There are no section margins and space is still there. And listing page is still destroyed and text goes over other listing info. We don’t have support license anymore so we can not open ticket and these errors were done by update so I don’t know what to do no. Very sad with this experience.

Now I found out that Active menu font color is missing from my settings. That is why its blue. How I can change it?

Hello its a presale query. We have different apartments and towers for different builders. I can see that builder option in the theme? I mean can we add property which can be filterable by developer name? I can see its filter by city,type etc but I want to add developers too. Is there any way? Also i like search option from main.wpresidence.com but overall look from reno.wpresidence.com can i take style from reno.wpresidcen but search feature from main?
Hello. Thank you for the message. If you have a specific list of developers – you can use WpResidence Custom Fields (dropdown) and these fields can be select to the property and then added in search as well – this is an example of a dropdown custom fields https://prnt.sc/t7YmSernu0XU
The values in dropdown are set in theme options as you create the custom field
The field can be added to submission listing form – you select a value from the dropdown.
The field can be added to search form with custom fields too.
You can take the design from any demo and create the search form as you need to. The theme options and functionality does not change in our demos. You can use any of the available features on any demo.
Search is part of the theme functionality and you can create the search form with Elementor Search Form builder in specific pages and you can create the theme search form in theme options (this shows in widget search if used, half map search – if used, hero media search if used)

To add a new custom post type you would need extensive custom development to add this custom post type and create functionality for it. We can only guide you to wordpress documentation for such a development . I found these online resource which may help https://www.cloudways.com/blog/wordpress-custom-post-type/ but we would not be able to guide in such a new development as it requires a complex development process which only a developer can wireframe, estimate, develop and test.

Can we then rename the user type? I don’t think loco translate will work. Because we want the user type Agent to be “Agent / Host” on the user signup form only not on the entire website.

I can translate the label Agent to Agent / Host using loco translate but that will change it everywhere. I just want to rename the label in user signup form. not everywhere.

Have you experienced problems with the latest version of Elementor? (Version 3.26.x)
We noted when we upgrade a site with this theme from Elementor 3.25.x to 3.26.x, Single property pages crash with “Fatal error” message, even though all other pages work. This is very strange as this type of error usually crashes the entire site, but here it only crashes the Single Property pages.
We have restored the site from server back to Elementor 3.25.10 and everything works again!
Elementor also gives this warning before upgrade:
“Compatibility alert – Some of the plugins you’re using have not been tested with the latest version of Elementor (3.26.5). To avoid issues, make sure they are all up to date and compatible before updating Elementor.

Elementor changed some rules in their last update. You would need to have the WpResidence theme and included plugins updated first, then update elementor. But please note WpResidence last update has been a major theme update as we switched to a new bootstrap version.
You can revert Elementor version first from wp-admin – Elementor – Tools – Version Control – Revert https://prnt.sc/4Ua5l1DqMdaF – that will solve the error temporarily.
Before you update Elementor again you must do the theme update following below directions and notes
Please check you have updated the theme and included elementor plugin. We have released an update which includes updates to Elementor widgets (required to match the new elementor version)

This update needs to change also child theme and child theme functions.php in particular to work with latest bootstrap.
I recommend using the Envato Market plugin as will allow you to update instantly.

And very important, remember to update WpResidence Core Plugin as well (that is mandatory in every update).

Hello. After the updates I am unable to add any images to the properties. I can select the image in the property media section but after pressing attach image nothing appears.
