Is the Qode Tours plugin only usable on Bridge’s travel demos? I’m not using one of the travel-related demos but I want to create a destinations and tours page like those on the Travel (WPBakery) demo. I don’t want to import the Travel demo in an alternate environment and then copy the info into the existing site. (I don’t think I even know how). Is there an easier way to create those pages in my non-travel Bridge demo theme?

You can also update the theme, we just recommend creating a backup of your site prior to update. It is a good practice to create a backup version of your website before updating the theme, in the event something unexpected occurs during the update process, so you can restore the backup and try again. Slider showcased on this demo is a regular gallery slider, however, there are portfolio slider elements in the theme. Some of the examples are shown in demos bridge331, bridge409, bridge406 and bridge400.

I got a download of the latest version of Bridge on 10/25 but when I try to install the update for WP Bakery, it shows that the version included in the download package is much older. I have 8.6.1 and it wants to install version 7.0. The latest version it should include is 8.7.2. (Edit: I downloaded the file again today and this time it includes 8.7.1.)

my theme is from 8 months ago when i updated it .. for some reason i have the child theme so i have to update it manually every time which could be hectic i wish i could just automatically update the theme.. my them is outdated and also the bridge core plug in is outdated as well you think that could be an issue .. how would i change the theme to a parent them to make it update automatically .. or is it permeant one your choose between parent theme or child theme..
i know when updating i just have to update the parent side so the child them doesn’t get changed at all right .. just strictly update the new theme with the parent theme .. so so all the customizations stay to the same… onetime i updated the wrong way and some of the work i did got erased.. is there anyway to go back so that the theme is just one theme instead of playing the game with the child and parent theme option ..

Child themes are useful for adding your own code snippets to a theme and keeping them safe from theme updates. For more info about child theme please check this article. Changes made in the backend using theme options and page builder are stored in the database and they will not be lost after the theme update.

I received notifications about plugin vulnerabilities for both WP Bakery (Cross Site Scripting vulnerability) and Revolution Slider (Broken Access Control vulnerability). They need to be updated to the most recent versions to fix these issues – can you please release a new version of the theme with the updated plugins? What is everyone doing about the known vulnerability in WPBakery and Slider Revolution?
This flaw enables attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts to affected websites. The vulnerability affects WPBakery plugin versions up to and including version 8.6.1.
Users of the plugin are encouraged to update to the latest version of WPBakery, which is currently version 8.7.
And Slider Revolution has a vulnerability also .This vulnerability makes it possible for an authenticated attacker, with contributor-level permissions or higher, to read arbitrary files on the server, which may contain sensitive information.

hello i have been trying to make the bridge theme faster , and i have looked at the gt metric waterfall and there are alot of werid ccs theme bridge issues .. i havent updated my theme to the latest one but there is alot of like back and forth when getting a theme your suppose to look for a light weight theme that loads fast that can get a good score this bridge theme i hard to make fast ,,, i have talked to support and there like contact your server and its this blame game of whats causing the issue can someone help me tune my site so it runs faster or look at it threw gt metrix and help me identify what the bride theme is taking 2 seconds to load i can identify what file is being opened for that.

We develop only premium themes, which means that they are a bit larger than average basic theme. The theme is optimized, however, we wouldn’t call it light weight as Bridge theme has 630+ demos and a vast number of options and elements.
First, we recommend updating the theme and plugin to the latest versions listed in change log.
Then, you can adjust theme performance options in Qode Options > Performance (please see screenshot).
If you haven’t optimized media used on your site, then we highly recommend it. You can use our Qode Optimizer plugin for this purpose or some other plugin your prefer.

I am looking for information on how to update from an older version of Bridge (10.1.1) but it’s impossible through your support channels. I probably didn’t express the issue properly. When sharing my blog posts or pages, the image that is shown is the bridge logo and not the featured image that I set in the article/page. I’m using the debugger of facebook to check and the problem is still there.

Bought and launched the theme. Installed all required plugins (also tried installing recommended ones too). Doing this on wp local application. The problem is that none of the bridge dashboard pages is working (Bridge dashboard, System info, Import) I open any of them and its just blank page of Wordpress admin dashboard. How am I supposed to import a demo site I want? Tried increasing memory limit and debugging, no errors, no console errors, network tab fetches everything with no server or client errors.
Noticed that some of QODE pages are not loading, in the end shows error, maybe dashboard is being fetched from your side so it silently fails?

This could be caused by some third party plugin. Please deactivate all your third party plugins except bundled plugins ( Bridge Core, WPBakery or Elementor, Slider Revolution..) clear browser cache and check the page. If you are perhaps using Qode Essential Addons plugin, please uninstall it. This plugin is not supposed to be used with Bridge Theme.
The demo pages are loading correctly at the moment on our end. It could be that server was experiencing some downtime earlier.

Plugins are not a problem, this is fresh install with only required plugins of yours.
Also cannot login to your QODE page, i get stuck on login page.

Yea so apperantly the problem is because of local development or localwp app, because I have tried to upload the theme to server, it has shown a notice to input a purchase code.
1. How do i make it work on local, since I wont be developing on server. 2. It would be great to have some information about Bridge theme licence inputing, since I was not aware of it.
We couldn’t reproduce this on our localwp installation of Bridge. If you are perhaps using PHP 8.4 try changing it to PHP 8.3.
