Hi, I’m struggling to get my portfolio working.
I’ve created a new page called ‘Portfolio’ that uses the ‘Portfolio’ template type. I’ve created several pages with ‘Portfolio entry’ as the post type and published. In the theme config, I’ve set Portfolio page as the default portfolio page for the site. When I go to domain.com/portfolio, I get a page that displays the images for the portfolio entries in grid format – this is fine. But, when I click an image to navigate to a portfolio entry, say domain.com/portfolio/client1 – I get a 404 page not found message.
Please help. Thank you.
For now, change your portfolio page url to something other than our-portfolio or my-portfolio and you should do fine. More details here -

Thanks for speedy response. I’m not sure if you follow me. The portfolio page is ok, the issue is when you click on the thumbnails to go to the respective portfolio entries – they don’t display, instead 404 error.
In any case, I tried your suggestion – rename slug for portfolio landing page from ‘portfolio’ to ‘work’. Same issue. Tried both URLs, domain.com/portfolio/client1 and domain.com/work/client1.

You have quite a few plugins loaded (about 32 of them). I disabled all except Visual Composer and the portfolio entries are visible now. Pls enable the plugins one at a time to see which one could be causing this issue to happen. Thanks.

From my research, this looks like a plugin conflicting with Visual Composer. Can you pls disable other plugins and see if you are able to resolve this? Certain plugins like LogMeIn Radius and Gmedia gallery have been reported to conflict with Visual Composer leading to this particular error.
how I can increase the width of menu when done scrolling

1) On the Front-end submission, could the fields be edited for example, include additional size options aside from square foot ect (as the rest of the world uses different units) and if so, does it convert these unit automatically? How about currency, is that easily custumizable_
2) In the agents dashboard, is there a quick search option for finding their properties…. also, could I asign a admin agent agency owner to be able to view all other agents properties to keep track of work? like entire list of the database for client management purposes.
3) WPML is no longer free, there is others alternative I know, but is there any known issues with any of them?</blockode>
My client is a Nicaraguan Real Esate Agency Owner and he loved the design but I would like to cover possible deal breakers. Aside from the questions asked, could there be any factors that you, the develpoer can think of that would affect the use your theme in a spanish speaking countrty, with diffrent measuring units... I appreciate a timely response.. becuase Ill be buying this like today.
I AM EXTREMLY intrested in buy the license that allows me multiple sites because I have a high demand for site from independant to agencies.

Can I disable Visual Composer and not to use it in this theme?
Yes – absolutely. You can forego visual composer completely and demo data has examples of all 4 home pages done without visual composer. Thanks for your interest.

Pls go to Revolution Slider -> Edit Slide and change the layers .
If you were looking to change the text, you will need to edit the home page and you can find corresponding row in visual composer at the top which has the id intro-slogan. It is just a raw HTML element which you can edit easily.
It’s issuie is ok, thank you. I found that. But here is the new surprise: when I update (save) the home page, it is replacing the HOME title with “You’ve been a great help. Your service is fantastic. I’m so glad I chose Agile.” and switches off the Revolution Slider. So It ruins the whole thing and I should manually change the title and switch on the slider again.
That title string is coming from a testimonial from our demo content. Not sure how that can happen, specially since we do not have any code running on the admin side. Are you using visual composer on this page with testimonials in it?
visual composer, yes. Testimonials block is on the page.but testimonials itself are in latin or whatever it is.

hi I would like to buy this but I have a vps server (sup php) will this be compatible? also, do you provide services for the demo import?
Thanks for your interest. I see no reason why it would not run on VPS as long as WordPress is installed. We ourselves host our themes on a DigitalOcean virtual server. The theme ReadMe.txt has links to the videos which walk you through instructions for demo import. If you face trouble, pls let us know and we will get the demo import done for you. The demo site can be replicated on your server entirely.

Looks like the Visual Composer CSS is not loaded on your site for the home page and hence this issue. Can you pls check once if Visual Composer is loaded correctly.
Pls update your visual composer to the latest version by downloading the latest version of the theme which has a folder with updated js_composer.zip plugin file. If you have older version, it is not compatible with 4.1 version of WordPress.
The specific file missing is this – /wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/css/js_composer.css.

Looks like Visual Composer plugin checks for visual composer shortcodes before loading Visual Composer styles. I inserted a dummy [vc_row] (it won’t get shown since the page template ignores the content of the page and composes the page using page sections) and the visual composer styles are getting loaded on your home page and the problem is resolved.
This particular page template is really meant for page sections and we use Full Width template when using visual composer. If you still want to use it the current way, pls have the dummy one word shortcode content I pasted into your home page.

How do you disable a specific post or portfolio piece to not use the featured image in the post? I saw settings to use sliders or images instead of the heading, but I did not see something for the featured image.

If you don’t need a featured image for a particular post then Its better to avoid featured image for that particular post or you can use custom CSS to hide the same.
If you wanted to hide the featured image on a post of id say 4296, you would need to enter Custom CSS -

Dear Team, I purchased your agile theme and tried to register your support forum account. I input the username and purchase code and then was asked to input the email account. BUT accidentally I typed in the wrong email account! Thus I wouldn’t be able to get the password sent by you through the email! And since the purchase code has been used, I can’t register again with this code, but I can’t log in either since I don’t have the password. It’s driving me crazy. I tried to use the forgot my password function, and the new password was sent to the wrong email account and thus there’s no way can I have access to the new password.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a custom CSS to hide the slider header part of the team slider, I have only one team member but I prefer the layout in slider rather than the regular team, but it’s kind of silly having the name/slider functionality at the top.

We are doing great. Recheck your database info in wp-config.php file. Generally this error can occur when you have wrong settings specified in wp-config.php file or if the file is corrupt.

Hello! This is an awesome theme! Great work. I’m work on it for a client of mine that bought it and I’m having the issue with the navigation where the menu items do not link back to the homepage sections. This is only for the inner pages. I understand the new updated theme has a fix for it but I can’t implement the entire theme and apply it to my site as I will loose my customizations. I have update the new ‘js’ folder but that does not seem to fix the issue. Is it possible to let me know what other file do I need to update for this fix to be implemented? Thanks so much! FYI, most of my changes are on the style.css and some on header.php. Thanks a lot! I was not counting with this issue and nothing I do seem to fix it.
Updating JS folder should have fixed it. At least it has done for so many others.
Did you do a browser refresh before retesting? The JS files can get cached and changes may not reflect on the client.

Do you have a link to the child page where this is happening? Everything looks normal on the home page. I hope I am getting your query right. The fix we issued was for child pages not being able to navigate to the home page internal links.

I see the problem. The plugin gets confused with default WordPress urls with special characters like this one – ?p=6159. Can you switch your client website to a more naturally formed URL by changing to one in Settings->Permalinks?
