I have ask some help a wile ago, about adding and viewing a pdf file on my website. You guys try to help me by telling me to upload the pdf on your Media Library, copy the link to this file and use in button module to open it https://undsgn.d.pr/3kK0Ga .
I still can’t get the hang of it. I have create a page with the title of the file and also upload the pdf follow the instructions and still didn’t get anywhere.

Hi, The first screen shot that you mentioned above is the page header on the page option in the backstage. The second screen shot from above I have inserted a jpeg pdf cover. Please check all these screenshots as i have highlighted what I have done and what it is showing.

Hi, from the last screenshot I understand now that is exactly how this is expected to work, based on the browser you use PDF are intended as download of the file, so everything is working as expected. If you don’t like this you can link to Issuu but this is how PDF links work in HTML itself (not Uncode).
Hello. I’m not too sure what do you mean? I don’t want a download option. All I want is people to be able to view it on my website like they can on Issuu page.
I don’t know how to explain better, in HTML when you open a PDF you have exactly what you have in your website, now if you expect some sort of PDF special viewer like the popular Issuu this is not a feature of Uncode (in fact you never seen a PDF viewer in all our demos). This kind of PDF viewers relies on dedicated plugins.

Hi, we can help for features you see in our demos, since we never show a special PDF brochure like viewer and it’s not supposed to be be a feature of a WordPress themes, we suggested how to open a PDF.

Hi! If you’ve upgraded to WordPress 5.0 and you are apparently no longer able to use the Page Builder, please follow:
- Update to Uncode 1.9.3 (or higher), update the required plugins and make sure you have selected the Disable Gutenberg Editor option in the WPBakery Page Builder > General Settings. When updating the theme don’t forget to update Uncode Core and WPBakery Page Builder plugins as outlined in the Theme Update documentation.
- Alternatively, if you cannot update the theme, you can install the free Classic Editor plugin from the official WordPress repository and check the replace the Block Editor option.

Thanks, I found that the problem is only when the text is not in English, same article length in Hebrew show 1 minute reading, while in English it is 18 Thanks.

This is managed by a popular plugin, we’ll check with developers if there are some bugs in this plugin related to Hebrew and in case we’ll insert the fix in next update! I have a question about Related Posts. I create a content block for related posts and i want to show it under every post but i want to have different related posts per category. When i am in a category the related posts would be only from this category automatically of course. Like Order by category but there aren’t any option for category in order by. Is this possible?

unfortunately by using the Content Block or the Related Posts plugin that’s not possible. You should edit the file single.php in your child theme and make it follow the right category (or, of course, the categories, since a post can belong to several): https://undsgn.d.pr/RBdlzX

Hello, no, unfortunately it’s not possible, also because a post can belong to different categories at the same time. However each post has classes determined by its categories https://undsgn.d.pr/usIWZF so you can use those to create your own CSS rules.

The theme works perfectly except for one thing : I put a video in the background of a Title block, the video appears in desktop mode but not on smartphone/tablets. Can you help me ?

Hello. I am having difficulty finding tools that I need to customise the theme. I imported the Blog Magazine layout. It seems like typography assets are all over the place. I am trying to change the font weight of dates (under posts thumbnails), the font color of the text excerpts. They are not under typography section nor under customise… Can you tell me how I can change these things… Thank you.

Even if Uncode is very flexible with literally thousand of options, it’s not supposed there are options for change the dates font weight a texts color of the excerpts, in fact in all our demos they are the same, here and there it’s possible you need a few line of CSS to fine tune elements to what you need. I have a new client that has a primary domain and a subdomain. The websites are on the same WPEngine account, but separate cPanels [*website.com & *subdomain.website.com]. Do they need 1 or 2 licenses for Uncode? - Btw – apparently, they actually already purchased licenses, but lost access to the email they need for accessing their old envato account/setting up automatic upgrades.

They are part of the same company. Main website is the the overall co, and the subdomain are the 3 divisions within the company. Same co, same service, just different divisions within the co.

You can see in the links I added that it is all part of the same company. Same website, same branding, same info, just explanations about the different marketing divisions within the main company. They have another website that is for a completely different service/product, and I already told them they needed a separate license for that website. Please clarify that a single license will cover the main website and directly related subdomain. Thank you very much!
Hi Squarep3g, the websites you linked above are different websites (different images, different texts etc), these for the ThemeForest Terms are definitely 2 different end product. As suggested you can always ask ThemeForest directly but they really seems 2 different end products.

I have a problem after updating the theme, that screws up parts of the visual appearance of my site on desktop screens. I have opened a ticket and explained everything and as I explained I really need it to be fixed before the holidays, because it will cost me business revenue, if visitors cannot navigate my site.

Hi yogananda! Support Team replies ticket in order received, anyway it seems odd that the update broke stuff otherwise here you should see dozen of similar reports! Form what I read you have the same problem also with 1.9.1 so it seems you entered customisations in the theme files that you updated.
I understand that the support answers in order received, that is why I’m writing here because you’ve already answered once today, so next time will be after Christmas.
The site was working fine on version 1.9.1 after updating to 1.9.3 the issues described in the ticket happened and now I cannot reverse it.
Hi, I just mean that if this was a problem with the update and child theme you should see dozen of similar messages, anyway please hold I notify some of the support if available to reply soon.
The problem is with the styling I’ve done in the child theme style.css – it doesn’t load on desktop view. So it is specific to my site and you won’t necessarily have other people with this issue.
Are you sure you have not inserted an error in the CSS of the Child? It seems you have a broken media query and so the styles you have created are not applied.
Okay, I’ve been able to install a backup of the site (version 1.9.1) and it is working now, so excuse my desperation. I’ll wait with trying to update till after the holidays.

I’m using cloudflare, but run development mode at the moment and have cleared the cache several times.

I updated the wordpress core and all plugins and then installed version 1.9.3 via ftp. After a few “Save Changes” in the Theme Options everything is fine.

Hi alexamsterdam, can you please upload a screenshot of the error so we can understand better? Anyway if you have 3 installations and 2 license it’s normal you have an error since with any license you can register only 1 site, in case you need to unregister first the old one. Upload somewhere using a free service or on your FTP.
Evidently there is an error in some data inserted, like API Key or PC, anyway try to update the theme and register the new Envato Token, cannot suggest better without the possibility to access.
I did try that already, with the token, it doesn’t work. What about I give you access in an email?

Hi, you can deactivate for a while the Child Theme and then reactivate, the important is that you don’t override (update) the Child Theme if you have customisations. You just need to update the main theme and required plugins. Let us know if this helps!

How do you get the fonts to show after you changed them? I keep refreshing and keep emptying cache and turned off cachewall and still when I make a font change in THEME OPTIONS it will not show the change on the site.
This is driving me crazy!
