Hello, that’s not something coming from the theme, it may be some plugin that after updating broke the site. Often caused by a blank space or a bad punctuation somewhere.
You can rename the wp-content/plugins folder and see if you can access again, then remove all the plugins not provided with the theme as is the only possible cause.
Thank you. Sorry for this misunderstanding. The issue was a plugin titled 2J Gallery. when I updated wordpress the plugin caused an unexpected output error and it disabled login capabilities. Fixed it by removing this plugin.

https://imgur.com/582iSZGThe play circle animates fine, anyway as your stream doesn’t declare public “readability” even thou all works fine, the player is not able to read the frequency peaks, so it can’t display the equalizer animation (the radial equalizer) but all works fine, is just a visual effect that can’t be displayed with your particular radio provider.

This is just to display the radial Flash equalizer effect, nothing more, basically in the MP3 streaming server you should have Cross Origin Resource Sharing (https://enable-cors.org/) but if you don’t stream from your own Shoutcast or Icecast server that’s not possible. Anyway, all the browsers will drop Flash support in few months so the eq fx won’t appear anymore on any computer very soon, not sure that working on this aspect is useful, for a simple visual effect that won’t appear anyway very soon.

Well technically they are pretty different, posts and pages will remain but you’ll have to set the widgets and options again. Also, the shortcodes are different so if you have pages created in Visual Composer it will require to replace some elements with the new ones, but with OnAir2 you have many more tools for radio stations.
greetings, since 2.0 update NOW ON AIR in side bar doesn’t change on it’s own any more, either does UPCOMING SHOWS. It does change on the home pg in the modules but not in sidebar.
Visual composer also isn’t updating
Please be sure to enable it in the customizer, when updating the theme, i don’t know how, but sometimes the settings changes. Please download 2.0.1 to update the plugins

Hello, that’s not an error but a notice from the WP bakery component. Don’t worry, you can simply ignore it.
We are now testing the new version with the theme before delivering the update, so you can keep on working normally and just wait for the update notification in order to update Visual Composer.
You can’t make auto updates of VC because it’s provided with Bundle license, and we are in charge of delivering updates.
We are now creating a great new theme version with quite some new functions and improvements so the new theme version will be available in about a week together with visual composer.

Hello! It looks like your are trying to perform the installation from an older theme version. This plugin version recently changed and for this reason the old plugin is not available.

Thank you. This helped. It removed 3/4 of the empty space at the top when i switched the page template to visual composer. Is there a different page template would remove it completely?

How many content does the sidebar of this theme accept? I noticed that once I put in 4 elements into the sidebar, thats it, no matter what I try to add it never show up.

Quick pre-purchase question: Thinking of using the template to provide data for an app ass well. Is it possible to query all the data from the custom post types and widgets through the WordPress REST API?
Hello and thanks for the request. Actually every custom field is saved, serialized or plain, as regular post metas, so they can be extracted and served normally as standard data. Please note that the song info appearing IN the radio player (the off canvas or the popup) are not post metas, in fact that is only the feed from external Shoutcast or Icecast service. Every other data like schedule, shows and so on instead are regular wp data.
Also I’d like to point out some tech detail regarding schedule, on air show and upcoming shows list: those results are in fact calculated via custom queries, and your external app must recalculate those results starting from the standard data from Wordpress.
Basically WP saves for each day a list of shows, with start and stop time, and the app must calculate actual and upcoming shows by checking the actual time.

I tried various players (sources) – SAM Broadcaster and RadioBOSS.
I tried various servers – SHOUTcast, IceCast.
I tried various encoders – MP3 (LAME_ENC) and mp3PRO.
I tested other stations from icecast directory (http://dir.xiph.org/index.php), broadcasting in MP3 format.
I’ve always gotten the same result. The player is buggy.
The red circle vibrating, but the white stripes are absent.
Currently playing information is not displayed in the player.
I made sure that the theme does not work correctly with IceCast.
Hello, I can show you dozens of radios working fine, the stripes are a flash decoration that may not be available if your providers are not providing the “Allow Acces Control Origin”.
This does not depend on the player but on the settings of the single radios.
The working of a radio is: listening to the misic and reading the titles.
The flash decoration is limited to the radios allowing to read the data.
We provide a tool to read the sound data, if this is not accessible what can I do? Is the same as if I provide a car and the street is closed. You are saying that the car is broken.
To understand what I’m trying to explain, you should check first please this:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Access_control_CORSAnche check the debugger of your browser, you’ll see that you’ll have some 404 or 403 errors for the streaming data, meaning the radio servers that are not displaying the effect are preventing your website from reading the mp3 stream data. You can access the music but the browser cannot “read” the metadata.
I repeat for all the other people who may read this: this is NOT a theme problem but a limitation of some streaming providers. Doesn’t depend on the format but only on the settings of the streaming server, which of course we can’t control.
We provide a tool to connect to radios and get as most info as possible, if the servers prevent the player from reading those info, is not a software problem.
Adding a simpler explanation to let this understand also to “non technical” people:
First of all the song data doesn’t have nothing to do with this, is a separate story.
Regarding the MP3, it is made by 2 parts: 1) Raw stream (a closed package) 2) Mp3 stream data (the data inside of the package)
The raw stream is like a “closed package”. It is “pushed” from the server to the browser engine. This closed package can be “reproduced” in your browser (the music play) even if the browser /theme / javascript don’t know nothing about what is inside.
It means the browser can reproduce the music by “delivering to you this closed package”.
To analyze the music and create the animation, instead, the browser needs to have the permission to “open the package”. This package contains the MP3 informations (the frequencies data). The animation is created by reading these informations. The permission to “open the package” to read the info can be granted/forbidden bu the settings of the steraming provider.
Most of the streaming providers allow this, but some doesn’t.
The only difference between streaming allowing and forbidding the access is a single line of code in the headers, that can be present (normal situation) or absent, in the streaming server.
When this header is there (Allow Access Origin) the “package” containing the MP3 data can be “opened” by the browser because the streaming provider is granting access.
When this header is absent, the package can travel to the browser (the music plays, because is a low level processing) BUT the javascript and the Flash don’t have the provileges to “open the package containing the mp3 stream and watch inside to read the frequencies”.
In this case the animation can’t be reproduced, but music and titles will still work fine.
If this explanation was not “too technical” for you at this point you may understand what is the reason and understand this is NOT a theme issue.
I can’t find 06AM Ibiza in IceCast Directory.
Whether correctly I understood you that I used the proper encoders and sources, but my mistake was that I didn’t use a stream hosting like SpacialNet or radioboss.fm?
06AM is Shoutcast. Is nothing to do with encoders or with the brand of the providers. It has to do with a tiny setting in the provider server. Most of the providers don’t care about this because 99.9% of radio players reproduce the music without doing any sound analysis, so nobody notices that. But at the same time, usually this setting is “open” because when you create a service for the other people, this is how it “should” be.
Anyway, I’d suggest to really leave the thing of the animation, because Chrome and Safari are going to drop Flash support for everybody in very few months… So music and feed will work perfectly, but independently on the Control Origin settings, the player will not show any animation in the future because browsers will not have Flash anymore.

About streaming services, the best we tested till now for service quality, bandwidth, prices and compatibility (not only with the the theme but with may other external services like tunein, itunes radios and similar) is Radio.co.
Some customers uses as well Airtime.pro, that is a bit more expensie and has some extra features, but depends on your needs.
AIO player (http://soundtrex.fm/aio) shows the song title, but the OnAir is not (http://soundtrex.fm/popup-player).
I think, OnAir player is buggy, isn’t it?

How do you do this? Where do I make the folder at? Also, I was using the child theme but when I updated the theme the other day it must have switched to the main theme.
