Hello, I updated the Uncode Theme version v.2.8.2 and the WPBakery Page Builder gives problems. It does NOT allow me to update the plugin.
The theme is registered and this should include the plugins included and required in the theme, right?
It indicates that I have installed the version: 6.13.0 Uncode WPBakery Page Builder. But it doesn’t allow to update. How can I do it? thanks
Hi pereserratm! Why you should update the plugin? This is the latest version of WPBakery packed with Uncode in Uncode 2.7.12 of 2023/06/07: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213454129
In a few words if you have Uncode 2.8.2 you should have Uncode WPBakery Page Builder 6.13.0.
OK, but when you go to the install plugins page it says:
Update Uncode WPBakery Page Builder Installed version: 6.13.0 Minimum required version: 6.13.0 Available version: 7.0 Active, >> Update recommended
and when I update to php8 it gives me problems viewing the page, and I understood that it was because the plugin was not updated.
No this is the latest version of WPBakery you can use with the actual version of Uncode. If you have problems is related to something else.

Hi pereserratm! Thank you for the confirmation. At the moment it seems the problem is triggered by WooCommerce that check as WPBakery as one of its subscription add-ons. Just ignore it for now.
Is it possible to use the dot navigation (like on your techie shop demo) on the product detail pages? I would like to use the dots to let the user to navigate to different parts of the product page like product description etc.

Hi mbhwhitney! Yes we figured it out later, it is a strange problem that is triggered by WooCommerce seeing WBBakery as if it were one of its paid extensions, something really absurd. Please ignore this notice at the moment, we are figuring out how it can be fixed or if it will be fixed by WooCommerce maybe directly.

Hello, Aftfer the last update you’ve added – Attribute Image for Brands. When I use it inside the Post Module it doesn’t have a link to the respective archive. Is there a way to add the link? Or can i call this attribute as a text with link inside? Thank you.

WooCommerce doesn’t allow that natively and there is currently no such option available in Uncode. There may be some third party plugins that do this. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend a third party plugin for this as we have never tried one. However, any plugin that works with the current version of WordPress and is built to the WordPress standard will work with Uncode.

Really enjoying using this theme. I have a couple of questions:
1) The last mention of font awesome is a comment three years ago. Are there any plans to include a more recent version?
2) Do you know why images in a carousel (in the header row) would be constantly resizing when scrolling down on a mobile or tablet? It constantly causes the page to shift up and down.

1) We use IconMoon App to manage icon packs and the latest version of Font Awesome cannot be used in IconMoon App (we have already requested this and at the moment it is not possible for an agree between Font Awesome and IconMoon). In any case, we are constantly updating the list of icons, and just in the last update we added the new Twitter icon, just to cite the most recent example.
2) If you are talking about Safari, unfortunately Safari itself changes the height of the window when you scroll: as soon as you start scrolling, the address bar disappears at the bottom, causing the window to resize. This is a peculiarity of this browser over which you have no control, except to avoid full-height sections on mobile.

I bought one of these a few years ago when the theme wasn’t ready for e-commerce yet and I had difficulty using it, in fact we had been in contact for a long time but we weren’t able to resolve the issues, so I used a other theme. I have this weird problem on every website i made using this theme. when you refresh a page all the text/elements flash in the color blue as it reloads. any way to fix this?

You are probably using a caching plugin on all these sites that delays loading a CSS style file. Obviously this what I can hypothesize from the description because we don’t even have a link to understand what it might be.

Hi. I’m heaving some troubles with Amelia. On chrome I can see front end booking system only if I’m logged in, when I log out than it disappears. On safari and edge booking system isnt visible as well. I think it got broken after last update. Could you please advice on it?

Anyway, without the possibility to check the installation is really not probable to understand the possible issue since also this Amelia is not one of the suggested or packed plugins. Hi guys! I just wanted to report an issue that I’ve noticed since the last update. The primary navigation used to function differently. I could put a menu item (custom link) with no URL and and sub menu items underneath it and when I clicked on the empty menu item it expanded and collapsed the sub menu. Now it just adds a ”#” to the end of your URL.
See example: www.sassabjorg.com I used to expand and collapse the shop and portfolio sub menus and now they just stay open once you click them.

More like you need to see if it’s something that can be implemented with WooCommerce itself (the plugin that takes care of the eCommerce part of the themes). There is probably some extension or it can be made through the Digital Download features.

I wanted to report a bug with the new version. I tested it on two sites that I manage, so it’s not an CSS or plugin issue. The are 2 issues affecting the off canvas elements: 1. The hamburger icon on an off-canvas vertical menu on desktop no longer transforms to an “X” 2. The close button of the side-cart stops working after you add items, when you’re using an off-canvas vertical menu. If you can’t replicate it, please contact me and I’ll provide a video.

Hi, I put off the cart icon and set up a different logo for the mobile, but all changes that I’m making are not working in the mobile version, even if I delete the cache in my phone. Is there something that I missing ? I also check the setting in each individual page but they are ok… Please help

I am sorry but if you have such a strange issue that not other users report without being able to access the installation or at least see it, it is impossible in words to understand the possible problem. Have you disabled all the extra plugins? It seems like you have a cached version for the mobile (the cache is on the server, not on the device).

I understand this problem of yours but as explained if we have not received any other similar support requests, and therefore implies that there is something strange happening on your installation, our developers need to see this installation of yours to understand what is going on. Thank you so much for your help! Finally, I solved the issue!!! I tried your solution first, and it worked, but the nav bar was still displaying in white when the settings were set to black.
